Perfect for a family of four who loved the beach!

Condo was nicely appointed. Location was great. Far enough away from the buzyness of the pier and close to Fort Fisher.

Plenty of space. Tastefully decorated. AC worked great. Had a wonderful time!

Quite disappointed. We normally spend the same price range when we go on vacation and this one was far below what we normally get for that range. Several issues really did impact our vacation greatly. • Upon arrival many dishes in the cabinets were dirty. • Old coffee in the coffee maker, had to clean ourselves. • Guest room ceiling fan looked as if never dusted. Ceiling vent looked the same with black grime on it. • Had to ask for zip ties from a neighbor for the guest bed frame was broken. Had to bind it together to make it work for the week. • Comforter had a stench, could not use it. • Kitchen sink faucet has a leak. • One of the bar stools wobbly like top is about to pop off. • Main bathroom door was hard to shut, and loud. Impossible to shut quietly, doesn’t fit and had to be pushed hard to make shut. • Oven set to Celsius rather than Fahrenheit, could not see any way to change. • Were told about microwave install, but were not told when, luckily we were there when he came. • No one ever came to hook up ice maker, had to buy our own ice. • Down spout in master shower was loose and needs caulk. • Both toilets need new valves inside; Very slow filling up. • Toilet in main bathroom was loose and wobbly. • Storm door outside living room would not open all the way. • Needs painted severely. Rust on every nail hole outside. • No carport or stairwell lights worked. Made it difficult at night. • Air condition could not keep up through the day and main unit in carport needs cleaned; coils are filled with dirt and webs. • Since this unit is on the top floor with no cover it could use a table with an umbrella. It was nearly impossible to go out and relax during mid-morn-afternoon due to the extreme heat from absolutely zero shade. • Maintenance guy who came to fix lights on the balcony gave no warning and came twice. First left the light covers in the chairs, left, never said wasn't done. Second time we were not there, which bothers me, and then left bulbs on chairs, indoor stool left out there, bolts, screws, allen wrenches, and wood SPLINTERS all over the deck! Overall would not recommend. This place was not worth what we paid for what we had to deal with. Did not plan to go on vacation to hassle around with all of these unaddressed maintenance issues. If these things were taken care of our vacation would have been so much nicer!!

We loved the location - short stroll to the beach, right by the pool and an incredible view from the back porch. The bright blue/green water made it feel more like Florida or the Caribbean than North Carolina!

We were at the unit for a week. It and the Ocean Dunes resort worked really well for us. Kure Beach was also a good fit since we tend to look for a calmer environment. We really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed in many hotels, vacation rental places (though first time in VRBO). I usually expect the reality to be not as good as the pictures online, but Jen's property is exactly what I saw the photos online. Seven of us stayed for three days but it didn't feel crowded at all. The quiet beach was amazing. The only drawback was that we had to drive to the indoor pool at the rec centre. I wish all the amenities were close by, but that is just a minor concern.

This really was the perfect place for our family. Four adults and two kids I was afraid it would feel too small but it really was great Right on the beach and the pool couldn’t be closer. We would definitely love to stay here again

The condo and views provided everything my family and I could have asked for plus more! The owner was responsive to my questions/needs during our stay and the condo was well equipped for our family.

Nice place with a great view!

We have stayed in in many Ocean Dunes condos over many years. This condo is the best one we have ever stayed in. Everything in the condo was above our expectations and we were very pleased with our entire stay. We were only steps away from both the pool and the beach which is so convenient, especially with children. We always enjoy our time at Kure Beach but our stay at this condo made our vacation this year just a little better!

Does it get any better than that? The view and access to the beach make this a wonderful place to stay. We were very happy with our time there.

We had a great vacation last week at Ocean Dunes# 503. We had upset with the refridgerator not Working , but the owners were great, they were there right away & actually brought a new refridgerator the next day. Great condo layout especially with four kids. The only thing we did not like is No tv in bedrooms except master. This unit is in great location right by one of outdoor pools & loved having beach chairs & toys available for our use. We will definatly book this unit again.

Wish our short stay could have been longer. Would rent the unit again, just based on location, being an upstairs unit makes the view from the very large ocean front deck amazing and you are like 50' from the water, a quick trip down the stairs and around the building to the pathway to the beach. Mom and dad can sit on the deck and watch the kids play on the beach. The near by town of Kure Beach offers good food and the aquarium, just south of the unit is great and kid freindly. I would take my own towels and linens as the sheets provided did not fit the beds well(too small or washed too many times). Owners were easy to work with.

We loved our stay at 503 ocean dunes. The decorating was beautiful and the veiw was awesome. Our wedding was rite out front of the balcony on the beach.Also the neighbors was really friendly and nice.Hopefully we can stay here again next time we come down... Thanks so much for letting us stay your beautiful vacation home. We stay out on the balcony and had breakfast it was so beauitful. We also got to see some dolphins early in the morning...My girls loved it. It was a lil cool to get in the water but we really enjoyed our stay..And will defintely be back again...

My wife, two daughters and I stayed at this Kure Beach top-floor condo and loved it. The place is well apportioned, has an amazing view, and is in a great location. It is only a couple of miles from the Aquarium, only steps from a virtually private beach, and close enough (1/2 hour) from the attractions in Wilmington. The owners are great, as they helped us book last minute, and after my wife forgot her cosmetic case after we departed, Jen (the owner) graciously mailed it herself back to our home in Charlotte. I was able to go on early morning walks on the beach and even saw Dolphins! The Kure beach pier is only a 5 minute drive away as well as a couple of good options for restaurants. Thanks again for everything!

Wonderful condo in a great location. Beautiful ocean view and quite location toward the end of the island. The indoor pool was a hit with our son based on the time of year we were visiting. We fell in love with Kure Beach even more...but then again we were already in love as we were in town looking at properties in Kure Beach to relocate this year upon retirement. Recommend this condo!!

The place was like entering Key West, so nicely decorated,clean, very comfortable for my three teenagers, and my husband and myself. Walk steps to beach and the morning Sun Awakes you and takes your breath away...,plenty to do with a lovely pool, tennis and basketball courts kept us all busy...plenty of close shopping and great food.oh yes we will be back! Thanks again .

We cannot say enough great things about our week stay here. We really had the perfect vacation! The condo was beautifully decorated, super clean, well-maintained and with 2 adults and 5 teenagers we never felt crowded. We already miss the beautiful views from the balcony and the lulling sounds of the ocean. Not only did we enjoy the beach, we definitely took advantage of the indoor pool and tennis and basketball courts. Our favorite spots to visit were the NC Aquarium, the Kure Beach Pier, Tiki Bar and Restaurant, and we can't forget Britts Donuts. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We will definitely recommend your paradise to our family and friends!
