Arrived to a cozy Christmas cabin decorated to perfection. We didn’t want to leave. Great place for relaxing if you want a quiet getaway but is located close to many options for venturing out. Cabin was very clean, well decorated and stocked with everything you need. Jason went above and beyond as a host. Great experience all around. We will be back.

The home is everything I hoped for in a mountain cabin getaway. It rained all weekend, but it didn't matter! We soaked in the hot tub that was sheltered from the rain, enjoyed the expansive collection of movies, slept peacefully in the extremely comfortable bed, and sipped Scotch overlooking the woody vista. Jason is an excellent communicator and host. My wife and I can't wait to come back! Oh, and the Christmas decorations were great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the blue ridge mountains. Sitting around the fireplace and relaxing with the beautiful view was exactly what we needed. Our kids enjoyed the visit and felt at home. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to prepare a full Thanksgiving meal! Thank you!

This was our first time using VRBO, so I do not have other experiences to compare to. However, our stay was wonderful. My hubby and I booked the cabin for a quick weekend away. We were very pleased with everything about the trip. Apple Maps took us right to our destination without any issue. The cabin was so cute, very clean, and well equipped. Jason is clearly a very thoughtful host. The information he provided was clear and concise, and included everything- information for the cabin, local places to eat, as well as different activities that are nearby. He was also very accessible by call or text if there were any issues or concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed our quick Georgia adventure, and are taking about returning again with our kiddos :)

This home is a gorgeous cabin tucked away in Morganton which is only about a 15 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge. The place was impeccable with everything you could want in a vacation home. If your looking for somewhere to get away from it all and enjoy peaceful surroundings but also feel the comforts of home, this is truly the place to stay so we highly recommend it. My husband and I will come back :-)

First, let me start by saying that the host Jason was AMAZING. He kept in communication and made sure we had all the information we needed. The location of the cabin was great. It is only a short 15-20 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge. The roads leading to the cabin are paved and winding, but very easy to drive. The cabin itself is beautiful. You can tell that Jason has great taste and has put a lot of thought and effort into making it the absolute perfect place to stay. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Of all the cabins I have previously rented, this one was the most well stocked and well thought out. The view from the back porch is breathtaking. I can't wait to come back when the leaves are changing colors. One evening we accidentally locked ourselves out after coming back from a late dinner. Somehow a previous guest had taken the emergency key in the lockbox and Jason was about an hour away working near Atlanta...He was able to call his housekeeper (who was enjoying her one night off a week) and she graciously came by with her key to let us in! She was a lifesaver, but Jason had no problem offering to make the drive up to let us in himself in case she was unable to. If you're looking for a fantastic cabin to enjoy with an amazing host, look no further than Golden Vista.

Cabin was as advertised. Clean, fully stocked with all the essentials, nice view, + extra touches with firewood in the fire pit, nice hot tub. Struggling to find anything to point at being subpar- only suggestion would be to get a tv for the main floor/sitting area. Overall great value for $, organized and helpful information from the host.

We stayed at Golden Vista because we wanted to be close to both Blairsville, where we were looking at a horse to buy, and Blue Ridge, where the cute town and restaurants are. Golden Vista was perfect! Centrally located, clean, fully stocked with all the amenities one could hope for. The Master king size bed was very comfortable. We went to a restaurant once, but really preferred to cook and eat in. Our favorite thing to do was to sit on the back porch and look at the beautiful view. It was a very relaxing trip and…we bought a horse! We would definitely consider going back.

The location is great with a beautiful view! I brought supplies that weren’t needed, the cabin is so well stocked, including lots of spices and oils for cooking. We made breakfast every morning and grilled every night. It was very helpful to have every drawer and cabinet in the kitchen labeled so we didn’t struggle to find anything we needed there. We enjoyed the jacuzzi every night too. The cabin is very easy to get to, not far off the highway, easy distance to the grocery store, yet isolated enough to feel that you are in the mountains. A few things that weren’t an issue for us but some who are considering this cabin might want to take note of- there’s no tv in the upstairs living room, only the downstairs one. And no tv in the bedroom downstairs. And there’s no bedroom with en suite bathroom. Both bathrooms you would need to leave the bedrooms to access them. Since it was just me and my husband we didn’t mind those things, but a larger group might. Those things are no big deal and probably in the description, but just wanted to point it out 😊👍

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary celebration! It was perfect, relaxing and a peaceful place for us! The cabin is so inviting, beautifully decorated and well equipped with absolutely everything we needed except for our clothes and groceries! The owners have done an amazing job in ensuring their guests have everything they need for their stay. You will not be disappointed with this cabin! It exceeded our expectations and the owners communication was spot on.

I would like to start off with saying that this is one of the most well kept properties we have ever stayed at. Not to mention it was also the most well stocked home we have ever stayed at. The views from the back of the house make you want to spend your entire stay outside. Jason was an excellent host who communicated with us upon arrival to ensure we had everything that we needed. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend and we cannot wait to do come back!

We stayed here for a couple days including Thanksgiving. Everything was great. The cabin is clean and well equipped, the view is amazing, it’s easy to get to and close to the shopping and restaurants in blue ridge. We would definitely stay again!

Although there are great pictures provided, they do not do this cabin justice. Check-in was super easy, and you can see and even smell how clean it is right when you walk in. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever need and more. The bedrooms are a great size with very comfy beds. The two bathrooms are great size as well and spotless. The game room/downstairs area is awesome and equipped with a huge TV, movies, and lots of games. The outdoor area is the best part of the cabin. A huge hot tub (with a beautiful mountain view), lots of comfy chairs, corn hole, two decks, a grill, an amazing fire pit area, and a cute little bench swing. Stop your search and book this place right now, you will not regret it!!

This was our first time visiting the Blue Ridge area- and we could not have picked a more perfect place to stay. The cabin was absolutely stunning- inside and out. A perfect, quiet place to unwind, let the kids roam the woods, sit by the fire, sit in the hot tub, sit in the porch and watch the beautiful views. The house was well equipped- had everything my family needed. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

Our stay was exactly what we needed. It was beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was well kept and our host did very well with communication and making himself available if needed. I will definitely be going back.

This wonderful cabin far exceeds the photos. Extremely clean, comfortable, well appointed and cozy; there was nothing else we needed to enjoy our stay. The beds and linens are of high quality, with a tempurpedic in the master. There were plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The living room furniture , appliances, TV, and washing machine/dryer were all new. The living room furniture was the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a rental. Between the outside and inside, there are multiple options of places to sit, relax, and take in the view of the mountains/trees. The kitchen has everything imaginable for a cook to enjoy, with more spices than anyone could ever need. The owner, Jason, was available ,responsive and very nice . The cabin sits on a quiet, paved road, with easy parking. We walked down the road and found a trail to a lake that was also very quiet. Blue Ridge is 20 minutes away, with plenty of places to eat , drink, and shop . The firepit is beautiful and the hot tub is clean and large enough for a family. We would definitely stay here again , no second thoughts! We were sorry to leave . Thank you Jason and family for sharing your home!

This was a wonderful house to call home for a few days. The owner was very communicative and accommodating. The house was in great shape, very clean and had new furniture throughout the rooms. Exactly like it is pictured in the listing. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything one needs to prepare meals. From dishes to cookware and even spices. The view was spectacular at all times of day. The surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely come here again.

Everything from top to bottom was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed dinner in the back porch and watched a huge thunderstorm creep over us for hours ! Fully stocked kitchen with fresh coffee for our enjoyment. Perfectly secluded and easy to find . Jason was the perfect host and we will be back .

I had a very hard time finding somewhere in this area that checked everything off my list, until I found this cabin! My group and I stayed for 2 days and enjoyed everything about it, it was a fantastic experience. Owner answered all of my questions and responded quickly, which was a huge relief. We enjoyed playing games downstairs, sitting by the fire, making our meals together (in a very well stocked kitchen), and especially sleeping in the super comfy beds! Nothing beats waking up well rested and looking out at snow covered mountains, if you’re going through tons of reviews and houses like I was, stop now and reserve! Thank you, Jason!
