We were two families with adult children. The house was perfect for our group with lots of beds and lots of living space.

The house is very spacious and beautiful. Had a problem with the plumbing, but Jack took care of it quickly. Beautiful area and the house worked great for a group of 12.

We got married in Big Sky and this was the perfect Home Base for our family and all of the wedding activities. The home was gorgeous and had everything we needed to host our family there. The home was clean, beds were amazing, showers were awesome. the owner communicated with us multiple times to just make sure things were golng well. It was perfect!

Can't say enough about the location in Porcupine Park. Close drives to Big Sky and Yellowstone West entrance. Gorgeous views. House is laid out perfectly for large groups/several families. We hosted a few small gatherings for others in town for family wedding and it was perfect. Set up was great for little ones, with high chair, two porta cribs and a play mat. Kitchens are both well furnished and the linens are super nice. Highly recommend. Jack is super responsive and we were happy to meet him too!

We never dreamed that we could stay in such a beautiful house with our entire family (7 adults and 4 kids) to ski Big Sky, Montana, so we were beyond grateful for this opportunity. It was a winter wonderland experience with elk grazing most evenings in the backyard and everyone spread out throughout the home with plenty of room to spare. We appreciated all of the amenities and special details that were built into this home. Thank you, Jack, we loved our unforgettable vacation week.

The title of my review should give it all away. This place is so nice that we continue to book it. I love to cook and the kitchens actually include good quality knives that are sharp. The beds are super comfortable. The indoor and outdoor spaces are amazing. The best part is the owner, who is super nice and attentive to all needs. Don't think about it, just book this house. You won't regret it.

Great property and location. Listed as having air conditioning but geothermal. Got a bit hot during the day. Overall was great for a large group.

Excellent experience. Host is 5 star as far as communicating and helpfulness. Accommodations are as described. If you have a large gathering, I would highly recommend. The view is pretty good too!!

Great communication with owner leading up to and during the stay. House was perfect for a group of 14. Probably the cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in, well stocked, nice view and convenient location. We picked this spot as it is an hour from the Bozeman airport and an easy hour or so to the entrance at West Yellowstone. Everyone loved the house, adults and kids alike. Saw lots of elk from the house and easy to get to places that offer horseback riding and other Big Sky activities. Jack is a great host!

Great communication w owner, super cool house. We have been doing this for 38 years and this was the best house by far!!

We stayed here for a week in Feb 2022 with a large group (8 adults, 7 children ages 8 through 14) that has been skiing / snowboarding together for some time. The house is fantastic - fairly new, extremely well put together, great touches on everything. The house felt very roomy for a group of our size, and has two very spacious group spaces - an open kitchen / dining room / living room with fireplace on the main floor, and essentially the same space on the second floor. We ended up using the second floor as the primary hang-out as the common space was a bit nicer - but again, both were very nice. The house is about 20 minutes from the lifts at Big Sky, although it's one road in and out so we got caught in traffic twice (getting out when it was snowing, due to some accidents, and then getting in the next morning for a snow day). So on those days, the twenty minutes was more like an hour - obviously not the fault of the house, which is accurately advertised, but a heads up for folks using it as a base to ski at Big Sky. We knew this going in but ended up at this house because we couldn't find anything to accommodate a group our large that was ski-in / ski-out. At any rate, the entire group had a great time and agreed this was the fanciest place we had stayed for our annual ski trip. Some other nice touches include two sets of new, spacious washers / dryers; a built-in rack to dry ski boots in the closet in the entrance that fits maybe 12 pairs of boots at once and blows heated air into them; and spacious and well-appointed bathrooms throughout the house. Really loved the place. Thanks for sharing it with us!

The layout was perfect for us. We traveled with children and grandchildren, and everyone had plenty of space. The house itself is gorgeous, and it’s location is perfect for visiting Yellowstone NP or playing in Big Sky.

What a great stay!! We do a large ski trip each year and this house fit us perfectly. Location is great and close to Big Sky. Views are spectacular with elk walking freely in the area. Host was a great communicator and met our needs for sure!!!

Fabulous house. Jack's place is awesome and he is a fantastic host. The location was incredible. Easy to get to Big Sky and Yellowstone!! We were 8 college fraternity brothers, had plenty of room, hiked everyday. We had a great time!

This property was a perfect fit for our group of combat vets. We were able to take them fishing, to Yellowstone, and on a scenic lift ride at Big Sky Resort. We cooked all our meals and the kitchen(s) were fantastic and have all the furnishing of home. All the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were awesome.

Jack was a great host and his home is absolutely wonderful! We had plenty of room for our 10+ guests and the home had pretty much everything we needed. Super convenient location…close to Bozeman, Yellowstone, and of course Big Sky.

We had a great experience. It was an easy drive to Yellowstone, close to big sky and across the road from great fly fishing.

Very nice, spacious house. New construction and very clean. The layout is great for a large group and always love having king beds for all the couples. I recommend using the upstairs kitchen instead of downstairs - it seems to be better stocked and has nice open feel. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the listing says it is 30 mins to Yellowstone but it is 50 mins to the nearest park entrance. You go through the edge of Yellowstone on the way to West Yellowstone - might be what owner is referencing. But to actually go into the park proper through the West entrance - which is closest- is 50 miles. This was an important part of our decision to stay here and the additional driving time was a disappointment. Otherwise a great place and would recommend!!

We had a great time celebrating my parents’ 50th anniversary at this awesome pad. We had 13 people in our group (ages 5-72) and everyone had comfortable sleeping and bathroom availablilty. 2 large living and dining areas allowed younger and older folks the space to be together when we wanted and to socialize separately when we needed. Everything was top notch. Great location. Close to Yellowstone, Bozeman and Big Sky Activities. Great house. 5+ stars!!

Our family loved the house! The house is about 45 mins to park entrance. The kids loved exploring the property. Jack was amazing answering any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

Jack’s house is a gem in a beautiful and convenient location - far enough from Yellowstone to enjoy authentic Montana outside of the park and close enough for multiple visits. We even did a day trip to Grand Tetons, and we enjoyed the amenities of Big Sky. The house is immaculate, and Jack is lovely to work with. There is plenty of room for a big family - or two - with space for folks to be together and have some privacy as well. From 7-76 years of age, we all enjoyed our stay!
