The condo met most of our needs. Good seating, kitchen was adequate and we had a beautiful ocean view. I do suggest that the master bath be remodeled. The over sized shower and the height of the entry was cumbersome and dangerous for seniors. Ceiling height to liw for someone tall. Also it took over most of the bathroom with little space to be comfortable. All in all, we were very comfortable.

Beautiful view from our room & family room of the ocean and sunrise. Condo could use updating, one more bedroom with a bigger bed would have been nice,, and a fridge with a water filter. Overall, everything thing was good, and we had a nice visit with family for Thanksgiving.

Nice place with a good view. Loved the balcony. Lots of kitchen utensils. Beds were comfy. enjoyed our stay very much.

My family and I were supposed to go to Florida and seen a hurricane coming and decided to switch to Charleston a day before leaving. We found this gem and it was perfect! Views of the ocean, short walk to the pool. Have to drive to shops and restaurants but its only 10 min down the road. Beds are a little squeaky and some reviews complained about dated furniture but it served its purpose. Would stay here again

We liked our brief stay at Shipwatch condominium. Unfortunately the elevator malfunctioned and the rental agent for the property helped us out. The pictures of the unit are technically accurate. There is a mirrored wall in the living room which makes the unit look larger than it really is. Our view is that the unit sleeps 6 snuggly. i would be mindful of this.

Nice area - beaches not crowded - great safe family area. Condo is dated and showing wear - furniture is very worn - master bath shower takes up the whole bathroom (anyone over 5’10” will not be able to use it - built up off floor). Clean and safe - just a bit outdated.

Loved the location in this gated community. We felt safe and it was quiet. Close to the beach and we could leave our stuff to come back to the condo for lunch or a break from the sun.

Improvements: The TV s need to have detailed directions as to how to operate. The many remotes need to be labeled as to which tv. The light and fan in the master did not work even after a gadget was brought. GRAB BARS IN ALL BATHS. THE ONE BAR THAT WAS THERE SLIPPED WHEN GRABBED. We were asked to leave key in the lockbox. We had no lockbox. We left it where we found it - under the mat. It is a lovely condo. Perfect with improvements!

It was a nice appointment but dishes were not clean. The beds were so noisy, and pillows were very old. The view was vey good.

This was a great summer vacation spot for our family. The condo was well set up. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Wild Dunes had some great amenities like the bike paths and ice cream shop. Some negatives are that the pool was always busy (but that happens when places are well suited for families) and the biting ants on the paths to the beach were terrible. Not sure if anything can be done about that but make sure you bring shoes so you won’t have to brave it barefoot!

Nicely appointed and extremely clean. A little more guidance on how to operate ceiling fans and tv’s would be helpful.

Unit was clean and decently furnished. Great location, good view of the beach. Quiet. Easy access to pool and beach. Only two garbage bags and one roll of paper towels provided-a bit skimpy considering rental price. Master shower had a very slow drain. Appreciated TVs in all bedrooms.

This villa was perfect for our girls trip of 5. Plenty of seating on the balcony where we had a wonderful view. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Response from host when we needed something was very prompt.

Nice condo. Property well cared for and nice pool. Oceanfront view was awesome from balcony. Walkway out to beach. Small playground for little kids. We were glad there was an elevator and carts to take our luggage up to 3rd floor. Cell service was intermittent but Wi-Fi worked pretty good. We would definitely stay here again.

Attention to detail, comfort, cleanliness, communication was so appreciated. Our accommodations were wonderful. Loved the view and the closeness to the beach. Thank you!

This condo was great…..nicely decorated and clean. Plenty of room for 5 women.

The condo was very nice. The only problem was the TV in the main room; lots of trouble getting the right channel with no standard channels available. It was impossible to get basketball tournament. Bedroom TV's were fine.

The pictures do not do justice in the views that you get out the windows, especially the sunrise. In just a couple of minutes you can be walking the beach taking in the sunrise. The accommodations were great, kitchen supplies good and the place was very clean. This was my first Vacation Rental and I certainly will be doing this again.

We have stayed in this unit a couple of times. It is beautifully decorated and well stocked if you choose to prepare meals. The beds are comfortable and proximity to the beach is just right for us.

The stay was great, the only issue we had was that it is advertised as there being a hot tub which is what we wanted the most. We were extremely disappointed that there wasn’t one. Please update the list going forward.

Very clean. Great location. Frustrated we couldn’t work TV adequately. No instructions. Big problem with one of our elderly guests falling getting out of shower with high step. Hit his head on shower frame and required 9 stitches at local hospital ER to close the gash. Almost ruined the whole vacation. Paramedics were good and hospital ER was Excellent. Need grab bars by showers. Dangerous.

Our vacation, the first one in 2 years, was ruined by the extremely dirty and moldy state of this property. The bathrooms looked as if they have not been cleaned in months, if not in years. There was mold everywhere, from the bathrooms to the air conditioning outlets. Towels and sheets had black nasty stains on them. The toilets were disgustingly dirty. Black mold was on all faucets and bathroom fixtures. I can’t believe how they rent this property in that state of unsafe uncleanliness. After a couple of hours of back and forth with an answering service in another state, the manager finally offered a full refund if we left the property immediately, which we did. Imagine trying to find a hotel at 10:30 pm after a long drive and being on the phone for hours to resolve the situation. We’re extremely disappointed, especially with VRBO that’s supposed to be Vacation Rental by OWNER, but after booking the place we were informed that a company named Vacasa is in charge and would send us the check-in information. False advertising. Very bad experience. Do NOT book this property at all.
