House was just the perfect size and comfortable with plenty of gathering room for all of us!

Charming, spacious and clean! Location is a lovely country setting (fantastic views) but minutes to everything. Owner is wonderful.

This cute little find was great for my bridesmaids and I to spend the night at before the wedding day at Le Barn Rouge. It was so cute and also made for great pictures the day of. Not to mention, how convenient it was for my husband and I to just walk right over after the reception!

This is the second time we have stayed at this house. The location is perfect for us as we have family in the surrounding area. We love that we can host our local family at the house for eating meals together.

We really enjoyed our stay! We were in town for a wedding and the location and house were exactly what we wanted. Comfy beds, clean, great back porch, and everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again when coming to visit family.

Cozy and comfortable with amazing views!

House was overall charming with beautiful decor and plenty of space; however photos on listing need to be updated. We were excited to enjoy the screened in porch with our dogs and cat, and were disappointed upon arrival that there was a porch, but not screened. That was the biggest selling point for us. There is also a lack of privacy in main living areas with all the windows bare of curtains. At dark its very creepy that anyone can see in without you noticing, making rooms unusable at dark. We were also under the assumption that the house was set apart from owners home when they actually share a carport, making privacy even harder to come by. Overall we were glad to have a comfortable bed to sleep in with all the amenities of being home and having our furry children with us.

This is a beautiful property. Jodie answered all our questions quickly. On behalf of my team, thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lots of space, open land, convenient location, well kept.

Property was spacious, with o bright airy rooms. The decorations were welcoming and you feel the history and personality of the area. Our king bed was well furnished and very comfortable . There ate two other bedrooms- a Queen snd a room with twin beds. We enjoyed relaxing with in the morning with coffee on the back porch overlooking a large beautiful pasture with houses and cows, We would definitely stay here again! PS our dog enjoyed it, too!

Really got to refresh and relax. In the “country “ but actually it was very convenient to all the places in Lafayette we wanted to see Jodie Powell was above and beyond a great host😀

We enjoyed the time at the house. Nice country home close to everything we needed. Would recommended it to a family or couples looking for a retreat while visiting Lafayette.

We had a lovely weekend at Le Barn Rouge. The back porch looking out at the pasture with a few cows and horses was lovely. We had plenty of room and everything we needed. I sent a couple of requests to Jodie and she quickly answered and gave us what we needed. If I could change one thing, I’d add a curtain or door to the bathroom with the shower(the water gets everywhere), but she supplies plenty of towels to use for a mat. Great water pressure and lots of hot water to go around for the four women that stayed. Jodie is a wonderful host and very responsive and attentive. I highly recommend her rental.

We had a fantastic stay in this farm house. Jodie was awesome! She even allowed us to explore her wedding venue! I got some amazing photos of my grandson. The house was perfect for my family and our fur babies! Everything was clean and supplied with more than enough soaps, towels, etc. we definitely recommend and will stay again if in the area.

Charming, spacious and decorated nicely. Very convenient to le Barn Rouge where my granddaughter was married and had her reception. The only thing I need to comment on is that the kitchen and bathroom counters and floors were not clean. The kitchen pots and pans and cabinets need cleaning also , especially because of COVID concerns.

We had a great stay at this B&B the weekend of my daughters wedding. House is beautiful and everyone really enjoyed petting the cows.

We love this property! Would have stayed for the duration of our indefinitely extended evacuation due to damages to our home by Hurricane Laura, except it was booked by others on weekends. Peaceful, quiet, country setting, yet only 5 minutes away from everything Lafayette has to offer. Very spacious & comfortable living areas. Especially enjoyed my morning coffee on back screened in porch watching birds, cows, & horses in the backyard pasture. Very clean & plenty privacy even though owners live next door. That was actually comforting to me since my husband had to be home for work & to handle repairs at home off & on during our stay. Mrs. Jodie is so sweet & accommodating, & even helped us find another place to go from here.

This home is perfect location relative to stores and shopping needs. Quiet country setting on the edge of the city. Ms Jodie immediately responded to any communication and was a pleasure to meet. Highly recommended!

This house was in a great location. You felt like you were in the country, but were only a mile from anything you’d need. Jodie was a pleasure to work with. So kind and helpful. The house itself was such a beautiful old home with a lot of charm.
