We have been staying in the island the last few years in different places, and we have fallen I love with this area. The sunsets were amazing and so quiet. The house was very clean and had everything you could need. One of my most favorite places we have stayed.

Beautiful View, Subpar Rental Pros: - Looks out over march and sunset views - Private dock for neighborhood - Walking Distance to Lakehouse (gym/pool/library) - but an fee is required to use - Local Seabrook Vacasa staff very responsive Cons: - Booked through VRBO, so got to pay booking fees to VACASA and VRBO. Lesson learned the hard way. Grrrr. - Marsh = bugs, but house windows have no screens - Washing machine AND dryer, both non- operational. Seabrook Island VACASA was very responsive and arranged to have new washer/dryer bought and installed when we informed them. However, they offered a small rebate for the week we went without washer and dryer, which did not materialize. - Bring EVERYTHING you may need. From coffee filters to counter cleaner to enough hangers.

The view was awesome as well as the condo. Bring knives, cutting board, and a shot glass if you are making cocktails. The kitchen utensils were lacking. This is a Vacasa rental. If you have any issues, go to the local office. The National office was non-responsive both via phone and text. Our issues were minor, but the local office took care of them immediately once contacted. I’d go back to this condo but would bring my own kitchen utensils!!

Have stayed in several places on the island and none have disappointed me yet it is calm and quiet great place to relax and forget . The view from the balconies of the marsh and river were breathtaking and gorgeous. The kitchen had everything you need for a short stay. Place was clean and decorated well. Would stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

We have been visiting Seabrook SC for about 20 years and have stayed on all sides of the island. We prefer the marsh side for the amazing variety of birds, including pink spoon bills, birds of prey, and countless others. Having a dock just outside the door was absolutely fantastic. The multi-level unit. 4 levels in all, was especially nice. Loved it. The steps involved might be a challenge for those with health issues, but for us, in our 60's, it was delightful. We are athletic and enjoyed the stairs. We are already planning to visit again! Fantastic views of the shrimp fleet and marsh. Sunsets incredible. Definitely recommend.

The view of the marsh! I would not recommend this rental to anyone! Too old, not well maintained, no screens, some outlets didn’t work, no AC for 2 weeks, broken ironing board etc!

Highly recommend this home. Clean and well stocked with everything you will need.

The property was beautiful and communicating was very easy, just wish the floors were cleaned.

The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Some things were worn down and you can tell it's a rental, but overall it was exactly as advertised.

Very simple, easy process.

As others have said, the sunset views from the back porch alone makes this place worthwhile. It is on a lot of levels, but that didn't bother us at all. We found it to be comfortable and enjoyable. One tip, the kitchen was a little sparse in terms of cooking tools, utensils, etc. Bring anything you find necessary!

Everything was good but I had a broken ankle a few months earlier and the stairs were a little too much for me.

We enjoyed the property but I’m glad my kids are older because the stairs would’ve been hard with babies! There are stairs to get in, then stairs to go up to second level then third level then fourth- each level having a living area. We loved the screened in porch. I would recommend new furniture on the porch and a queen bed for the 2nd bedroom. We never even sat in the living room and didn’t turn any of the TVs on. Lots of batteries missing we just gave up. Also need some light bulbs added. There were outlets not working in the second bedroom in the bathroom also. Small minor things we had a good stay and it was very clean. Most importantly we had great communication

We loved our stay here. The resort/neighborhood it’s in is beautiful. The townhouse was very nice. Well furnished with everything you could need. There were some cosmetic issues that could be improved. Peeling paint on walls, doors and ceilings and around shower. This is an almost 4 story townhouse with lots of stairs so I’m not sure it would be a good fit for families with little kids or older people. But it was a perfect place for myself and my husband. Honestly though, the view is the best part of the whole place. We sat on the screened in deck every night to watch the sunset; at least until the bugs got to be too much. We still got small gnats and whatnot on the screened in porch. I’m not convinced there wasn’t some sort of bugs in one of the chairs as my husband was eaten up with bites all over his arms and legs and nothing really bit me on the loveseat. The area is beautiful and we spent a while just driving around looking at houses. There’s public beach access in several spots and they are lovely beaches with updated boardwalks. It’s about a 40 minute drive into Charleston. There are several restaurants close by that are delicious or you could drive 20 minutes towards Johns Island and find many more options. We definitely loved our trip here and if we come back, we would stay here again.

The property needs some minor updating, such as recaulking the shower and fixing the tracks of some of the bifold doors. Otherwise, the property was perfect, and the dock is located directly behind the property!

This villa has great potential because of the location. It is in need of thorough cleaning. There are spider webs with large spiders in the bathroom and in the master bedroom. The furniture inside is very dirty and needs to be replaced. White couches with gross stains on them. Food stains on the walls in the kitchen area. The only table in the house is broken and leans making it hard to sit at and eat. The porches have breathtaking views but need to be cleaned and furniture updated or cleaned. Also it is advertised for having cable but it only has the basic local channels. While I am fine with older and outdated furniture, you must keep it clean and in good repair. This is Seabrook Island not Myrtle Beach. I expected more!

Property was very nice, pictures don’t do it justice. Furniture in the main bedroom had been updated since these pictures were taken, and was very nice. Both beds were very comfortable. Dock is just steps away from the lower deck, making it easy to access for crabbing. All issues that were stated in previous reviews had been addressed. The sliding door worked with no issues, the outlets in main bedroom have a switch that operated them so be sure to flip the switch if the outlets aren’t working. Overall had a few scrapes and knicks on the wall but that’s to be expected in a rental. The couches in the living room looked a little dirty still, but we brought our own sheets to put over them to sit on because of that. Very pleased with this rental and will give 5 stars. No issues with company. Would stay here again.

The pictures are the best the place ever looked. Almost not reality.

The goods: The location is hard to beat with beautiful views of the marshlands, a nice dock to enjoy and a pool for use nearby. The entire place has newer wood floor and the appliances are updated. Bathroom are in good shape. It is a decently open design in the middle level and has decent internet and tv. The staff at the reservation place are great and quickly respond. Also, there is plenty of space here In the condo and being on the island you have access to the beautiful beaches of Seabrook. The AC is this place is excellent and will keep you comfortable.

The bads: The furniture is worse than you would find on the side of the street sat out for the trash. Couches are stained and dirty. Beds mattresses are old or have urine stains on them. Kitchen table is falling apart. Half bathroom gets smoking hot during the day and the toilet paper holder is broken. Sliding patio door to porch is broken. Screen door to outside porch is broken. Holes in the screens. Furniture outside is broken or missing. Missing furniture on master porch. Broken storage closet in car port. Piled up leaves on porch like never cleaned. 30% of the lights in the place don’t work. Internet was flaky on 3rd floor. Pool key was not with place. Had to call and go get one. Internet was broken when we arrived.

I will say that the Vacasa team was very responsive and nice but the place has its many issues.

Not saying don’t stay here as the value is fair and location is great but more to be informed about what you are actually renting.

Great spot - loved looking out onto the marsh, convenient to the beach and shopping, quiet area. Well stocked kitchen and spacious living area.

Had issue with the sliding door not being on track. Texted and was told we would receive a call to fix the door - that never happened and we could not enjoy the back screened in porch over the weekend. The couch was very comfortable, but dirty - many spots on the fabric.

There were no blinds on glass door to the deck in master bedroom. This is open to the public walkway and anyone could walk up and be looking into the master bedroom. The mattresses in both bedrooms were very uncomfortable and sunk in the middle so when two people tried to sleep in them you would roll to the center - not the best night sleep!

There were several pieces of furniture in the carport area, so parking under cover did not happen.

Nice home, great layout, great location and lots of space - could just use some TLC (clean furniture, put toilet paper holder back in half bath, replace missing blinds) and new mattresses!

We enjoyed a short stay at your villa. The views/sunset overlooking the inlet are amazing. My sons enjoyed crabbing and fishing on the docks. Although most of the rental unit has been updated (floors/appliances) there were still some things in desperate need of repair. The sliding glass door to the screened in porch was broken. All of the folding closet doors were hard to open. Toilet paper holders were broken. The light colored couch is well worn and stained. I ended up covering it with a sheet before we sat on it. The pull out sofa bed was dirty and stained and I was thankful that I brought an air mattress with me. The mattress in the master bedroom is very thin and uncomfortable. The unit has dish as the tv provider and no local channels were available. Having a career in broadcasting....I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t get to see what the local news had to offer (always trying to fine tune my craft) but that was only my issue. The weather stripping around the exterior master bedroom door is coming off and kept falling down once you opened the door. The outside deck cushions were moldy and torn so we were not able to enjoy that part of the deck. Overall we had a good stay bc we enjoyed the beach/inlet and property during the day; but a few tweaks would make this a 5 star stay.

Condo was not in good condition. Patio door broken prevented ability to go out on porch. Outlets in master bathroom didn’t work. Didn’t have pool key for first several days. It took two calls on hold for 45 minutes to report issues. Will not stay here again.

We ended up staying here because of the view of the marsh! The place has so much potential but wasn’t what we expected inside. The couch was dirty with stains, no curtains, leaves on the balcony, sliding door wouldn’t work, and the lock on the door was broke. It took five days before anyone even came out to fix it. We did get refunded half price for the issue for those five days though which I thought was fair. If it was cleaner and issues were resolved then I would recommend.

The condo is located right in front of the dock that goes out on the marsh. It has a screened porch that catches a wonderful breeze, an outside porch with lounge chairs, as well as a downstairs covered porch off the master bedroom. The condo is conveniently located at the beginning of the island, a nice walking distance from the Equestrian Center Bohickets Marina, and Freshfields Village. The Village is full of great restaurants, a wine bar, gas station, and grocery store. The beach is only a short drive or bike ride way. Seabrook is a beautiful and relaxed island and this condo is a great place to enjoy it.

We have always loved the location overlooking the marsh, crabbing dock, and Horseshoe Creek.

Check in was smooth. Seabrook Island is a beautiful place to relax and unwind. The unit we stayed in is in dire need of an upgrade in terms of furniture and overall cleanliness.

The check in was great. On the next day called about tv in master bedroom not working. Someone came out to access the issue but was able to resolve issue. Which meant we had no tv in the master bedroom during our stay. No follow up was provided on next steps for tv watching during our stay.
