We had a wonderful stay at this lovely vacation home in the Outer Banks. The house was incredibly cozy and lovingly furnished, making us feel right at home. The neighborhood was very friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with the neighbors. The outdoor shower was fantastic, and the view from the property was simply breathtaking. Everything was very clean, and the beach equipment provided was super helpful. But our favorite feature was the swing—it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Thank you for an amazing stay! We would love to come back again.

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful property over the 4th of July🇺🇸❤️ The house was decorated so perfect and had everything our family needed and the black stone grill was a great bonus. Will definitely come back!

The house was imposing with high-quality grade building materials and appliances. The beds and seating were very comfortable. The outdoor space was lovely. It is a quiet street with low traffic. My brother and sisters would rent this home again.

What a great stay we had at the Nest. The house comfortably accommodated our family, everything was clean and well-stocked, and the owners were extremely responsive when we had a couple questions. Although we couldn’t walk to the beach, parking was easy to get to and readily available. We were sad to leave!

We absolutely loved staying at The Nest during our week in the Outer Banks. The house was beautiful, modern with a lot of space and fully supplied with towels, linens, Beach supplies and cleaning products (the house was spotless when we arrived!). The house is located on a quiet dead end street with very friendly neighbors. Communication with Matt was very easy and we had no issues whatsoever! Hope to stay here again and again!

This house was fantastic. Well stocked with towels and beach supplies. 4 chairs and an umbrella. Porches we’re fantastic for evening lounging. The owner was wonderful about communication before the trip and they even left the sweetest welcome note and a bottle of wine.

This property was absolutely amazing! It was the perfect getaway for our family. There was plenty of room, scenic, clean, and felt like home. It was located near all of the wonderful sites of Kitty Hawk and surrounding areas. I recommend this property to anyone coming in the area. You won’t be disappointed. My wife is an interior decorator, and we commented all week on how awesome the house laid out and decorated. The owners have done a tremendous job! Thank you for hosting our family. We will definitely be back again!

We only were able to spend four days in NC, and we were so busy with a family wedding, but our oasis was Matt’s incredible property.
Spotless, but so comfortable. Minutes to beach, but feels quite private.
Six of us stayed and I swear we never even heard each other. The well-built home, along with the layout, give it an incredibly quiet, private feeling (even when filled with family).
Matt was easy and quick to communicate and always friendly and helpful.
Our one concern had been outer adult son sleeping on the pullout sofa, but he found it very comfortable! And he’s picky!
This will forevermore be our first choice when in the OBX.

This was a gorgeous home located minutes away from the beach. The home had everything stocked that was needed. With 3 kids, convenience is everything and we had a straightforward easy access to the beach from our home. I will say that I assumed it was in an exclusive neighborhood with a lot of homes just like it, but its surrounded by smaller homes, townhomes, older and newer homes which ended up being just fine. Would recommend to other families.

Nice getaway
This property was a pleasure to stay at! Close to the beach and anything you might want to do. Such a great house!! Just a suggestion…. A swimming pool would be nice!!! The ocean was very cold during my family’s stay, so having somewhere to swim would have been a plus.

This property provided a fantastic backdrop for our Thanksgiving getaway. On a scale of 1-5, 5 being excellent, it was 10 star clean and 10 star decorated. Often a property will not look quite as good as its advertisement photos, however, this property was just as perfect in person. The host was a pleasure to work with as well. We plan to book again.

Beautiful and cozy!
We stayed here in the off season. The house is beautifully decorated and cozy. Everything you need is here: laundry detergent, dryer sheets, kitchen supplies for every meal, condiments, a full coffee bar, hand soap, a full selection of new books, games for the kids, plenty of blankets and pillows. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space for my three children, my husband and me. Views from all the back windows. We were only a few minutes drive to most things we wanted to do. Just a fantastic VRBO!

Almost perfect
The nest is a newer build and very beautifully done! They have everything you could possibly need there which is fantastic! My only disappointment is that we booked because it listed as a 4 bedroom and the 4th bedroom listed as the entertainment room was unusable so we had to have 2 adults share a room. the pull out couch is horrible. A young child may be able to sleep on it, but not an adult, it like sleeping right on the metal frame. The other bedrooms were fantastic! Great Kitchen! The location was great for us as we wanted to explore Corolla to Hatteras and this was right in the middle which made day trips perfect! Nice quiet street.

Very new home, extremely clean and tidy, all essentials provided, inviting decor and plenty of space for 4 people. Short drive to the beach, stores, restaurants and other thrilling outdoor activities. Matt was awesome with getting us all information prior to check in and was only a message away if anything was needed. Great experience overall and would highly recommend.

Beautiful home with lots to do
My family of 6 stayed at The Nest for a week and had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and have our own space. Beautiful ocean views from the decks and located on a quiet road. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything we could think of when we arrived. The beach was never crowded and parking was never an issue. There were so many activities close by for everyone to enjoy. Matt and Monica were quick to reply and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay at the Nest!
We had a wonderful stay at this house. Our teenagers loved having this own floor for their bedrooms and the basement entertainment area. My daughter was SO happy she won the coin toss to get the room with the deck! She was in heaven.
My husband and I appreciated how well stocked the house was! It had everything we could ever want in the kitchen. There were tons of beach supplies, also.

We enjoyed staying at this home. It was very comfortable. Lots of rooms to spread out. Two of our teenagers brought friends and a great time was had by all. We would gladly stay here again!
