Enjoyed the location most of all..walk to beach, town with shops,etc. I wish there had been a few more dishes but the amenities otherwise were sufficient.

What an amazing way to spend a relaxing Christmas vacation.

Communication with property manager was good before we checked in but after not a word. I tried to communicate issues we had with stay and got absolutely no response. First of all you park behind the property in a driveway that also has a junk broken down landscaping truck.We walk in and notice the bedding still drying in the dryer and the vacuum cleaner was left out right in way of the entry. As we walked into the kitchen we noticed long hair all along the side of counter next to sink and dirt all over the counter tops. Walk into the main bedroom and it appears that the rug or carpet around bed was dirty and hadn’t been vacuumed and in clear sight a sock more than likely from the previous person that stayed. At this point we start to look around and see that the vanities in bathroom didn’t appear to be cleaned or even wiped down in quite some time and they had what looked like black mold all along the shower. The whole stay was uncomfortable as we wondered if anything was clean or sanitary. For the one night for this place we could’ve stayed two nights at the pearl hotel and wouldn’t have to worry about any of this. After looking at couple of the reviews it looks like our experience was not the first and seems to be a pattern. After reaching out to property owners I got no response. Highly dissatisfied and the pics really make you believe you’re getting something totally different. To bad I can’t post the pics of the property in this review and how it was delivered to us.

We loved the unique spaces and comfort of this cottage. We were able to walk and have the best shrimp and then shopping. Was perfect for our family and pup to be able to relax and enjoy a new city, and now, a new favorite. We will be back!

Great stay

This was a great place to stay.

Was in town for an event and stayed for one night with my wife, 1 year old daughter, and mother. The home was well decorated, clean, and comfortable. It has a beachy feel, which is nice because it’s a quick walk to the beach from the house. The owners were friendly and helpful, and our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. We will be back for sure!

The property was even nicer than the online photos show. Location was perfect to walk to the beach or to grab a coffee at Mockingbird. The street was quiet and easy to relax sitting outside. (Bring bugspray) Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this home, a short walk from a beautiful beach for swimming and the many restaurants and shops in Bay St. Louis. A very cozy place with a nice kitchen, bedrooms, relaxing space and more.

The garden was so peaceful and relaxing to sit and drink coffee and sip wine ….fully stocked kitchen

We went to BSL for a family wedding and this house was perfect for our family! The location is great - we were only a block from the Boo parade which was a hit with the grands. We walked to breakfast and enjoyed the nearby park. Thanks fir s great weekend!

Very beautiful home, lots of space inside and out! Biggest issue i had was I thought I booked two nights and only had one. Very disappointed in myself! May have to go back! You won't go wrong with this!

We truly enjoyed our stay! Jane and Kevin were quick to respond and communicated well. The house is absolutely charming and walking distance to all of the shops and eateries. We can’t wait to return!

House was very clean, and bigger than expected. Walking distance from downtown bay St. Louis, nestled into a safe little neighborhood. We found the upstairs a bit treacherous for any one of us to stay in, especially with no bathroom amenities, but overall a very enjoyable and cozy stay!

Had a wonderful time in this lovely house! Very spacious, stylish, and cozy. Especially loved the complimentary tea and chocolates. Our only concern is the spiral stairs may be hard for elderly guests because they are very slender. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay again!

Beautifully decorated home with an amazing garden in the middle of a charming neighborhood. Within walking distance of Main Street in Old Town Bay St. Louis where you can find plenty of places to eat and shop.

From the moment we walked in, we loved this home! The high ceilings, the lovely decor, the beautiful outdoor spaces. This home is in a fantastic location where we could walk to the beach. I would 100% for sure stay here again! Do not miss the blind tiger restaurant! A real gem of a place with a fantastic chef. What a delightful surprise that we stumbled upon this fabulous restaurant. The town is perfectly quaint too!

We booked this home for our annual Momma weekend getaway. The house was more than we expected! It had an old modern feel to it. Outside was very relaxing and we even met a little frog friend that lives in the little pond. We walked for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and shopping. Very convenient!! We will definitely book again!

It was a 3 hour drive for us; 3 days away; location was in walking distance to everything. Plenty of restaurant options. Laid back town - perfect for relaxing!

The home is very cozy and it's located in a lovely neighborhood within walking distance of several local shops, restaurants, and cafes. It's a very safe area and the locals are extremely nice and friendly. The yard is perfect for pups and it has beautiful trees and wrap around porches with comfy sitting areas. The check in process was smooth and simple, and we didn't encounter any issues during our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to return for another visit during the spring or summer. Great place for a getaway!

Salty Soul Cottage was just the perfect place for our stay in Bay St. Louis. We had friends meet us there with their dog, and they not only loved the charm of the home but really appreciated the secured fenced in back yard. We made great use of both the covered back porch, as well as the side patio. Wonderful landscaping made the space feel very private. At the same time the neighborhood was perfect for walking to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Grocery store was less than a 5 minute drive. My only suggestion is that the hosts could have been more communicative with instructions for check-in/out processes. While they were very easy, I had to contact them myself to find out what we needed to do. (My previous experiences usually include clear instructions which are accessible on the app). Jane and Kevin did respond promptly whenever I did have a request. We would love to return to their lovely home on our next visit to BSL!

Very comfortable vacation home. Enjoyed our week's stay and many of the provided conveniences - easy walking distance from downtown and beach; lovely home with lots of space and comfort; kitchen with everything needed for some in-home meals; and very responsive hosts.
