Had a serious family emergency and was completely unable to contact the host (vacasa). Multiple messages sent with no reply, called customer service and they said there was nothing they could do. Will never be using vrbo or vacasa again.

This property was not ready for us when we checked in. The driveway, walkway and deck was not cleared of snow when we arrived. It took several calls and negotiations to get a response from the property management company. The property management company told us there is a snow shovel near by and salt is next door. The main bathroom sink does not drain, loose tiles in the bathroom, missing window trim in the living room and cob webs throughout the property - very dusty. This property is not well maintained.

Went for my birthday and stayed 2 nights. The place was very pretty although it seemed like there may have been something’s put together fast to turn it over and rent out. Loose flooring, switches that did nothing, we were also without power for a while. Bedding seemed like it wasn’t cleaned before our stay. Over all it was decent, but felt housekeeping could’ve been better.

Great place to getaway and relax. I only gave it 4 stars because the cobwebs that are on all the beams, window frames and door frames. Otherwise we would stay here again.

The decor was minimalistic and tasteful. Our dog felt welcomed. The hot tub was a nice place to relax after all the water sports, mountain biking and hiking you can do in the area.

We loved this house. It felt cozy and had great amenities for us and our two kids + dog. The kids loved the air hockey table, shuffle boards and swings on the side of the house. The yard was great for throwing a little frisbee and the location felt nice and private being at the end of the street. It was a little bit of a drive to restaurants, but it was scenic and we enjoyed it. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved our stay here with three teens and two adults, everyone had enough space to spread out. The hot tub is big and looks very new. We had very mild weather for August, so not having a/c was not an issue for us. We would like to come back and stay again in the winter.

The location was great and has great amenities.

Well thought out space in this A-Frame chalet. I have two children who adored the upstairs with the swing chairs and the down stairs games. We were there for skiing but had poor weather, however it was easy to stay inside a whole day with minimal issues. Very relaxing.

My husband and I and our two daughters absolutely loved our stay at the Golden A-frame! The neighborhood is quiet and secluded. The house is so beautiful with such great touches! We lucked out with our stay and timed it during major snowfall which added to the beauty! Thank goodness for our 4WD! Or two pups were not impressed with the cold temps and snow, but loved the woodstove. They were scared of the sprial open staircases, so we ended up carrying them up and down as needed. We would definitely recommend staying at this charming house!

Spent a lovely 3 days and 2 nights here for my wife’s birthday and could not have been happier. Everything was perfect; from the warm and rustic interior, to the spacious and luxurious hot tub. No complaints to be had! Would highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting the area!

The place was dirty. Cobwebs on the windows and ceiling. The main floor bathroom handle was so dirty, looked like it had black dust collecting on it for days. One of the areas was do dirty that the white towel turned black (we took pics). Mold smell in the basement. Cushions on the furniture were so old, stained and smelly. We couldn't sit on it without covering them with our own sheets. Rude representative when asked about extending the stay. Took advantage of the extension and charged extremely high price during off season when for the first 2 nights, we paid half of that.

We kept a fire burning during our whole stay and I regret bringing my axe instead of purchasing firewood. Great stay!

For those of us whose eyes glaze over looking at listing after listing of Deep Creek cabins with dark wood or bear themes or beat-up furniture from Grandma's house, this cabin is a welcome respite. The styling is clean, modern and wonderful. Our kids adored the upstairs loft and started their mornings there every single day of our trip, reading in the hammock chairs, watching movies and playing board games. It was fantastic. The kitchen is well-outfitted for a family that likes to cook. We ate every single one of our meals on the outdoor deck. And family movie night in the downstairs game room was fantastic. The cabin does not have air conditioning, which we were a little bit worried about. But it's located in such a woodsy area that there was enough shade and enough fans that it wasn't a problem -- with one exception. The lower level bedroom was quite damp and would benefit immensely from a dehumidifier. We also loved that we could bring our pup -- although dogs are not permitted at the docks and swimming and picnic area of the community's lake access. That was a little bit of a bummer but we realize it's something the cabin owners don't have any control over. Overall, it's just a delightful home and we ended our vacation wondering where and how we might be able to hang hammock chairs in our own home!
