Everything was perfect, as described. The home was beautiful, comfortable and a great place to relax in the summer heat! The pool was our oasis and the accommodations had all creature comforts. We loved the pool floats and the playmate cooler came in handy on the beach. Kelly was amazing, kind and so responsive. We hope to come back soon! Thank you Kelly!

Stayed here for a little less than a week and we loved every bit of it. The place is very large and everything you could possibly need is kindly provided at the property. Having a washer/dryer was a huge plus. The pool is great. You need to have a rental car to get around Saint Croix. There are plenty of beautiful beaches and hikes near the property to check out so having the car allowed us to do different day trips throughout the week. Absolutely recommend!

Everything you could want in a vacation property. Beautiful views and great swimming pool. Worked very well for two couples as we each had our own space. Will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed this property. Good access to some good options and close proximity to town and the beaches. We enjoyed the pool in the evenings and making breakfast in the morning.

We had a great stay at Villa Madeline! The property was perfect for our family of 4. Our kids (12 and 10) shared one room/bed. They had their own space which was nice. The property was described accurately, clean and comfy. We had a great view of the water below. We felt extremely safe, both at the property and on the island as a whole. Be smart when out and about. Don't leave any personal items in your car, etc. The owner, Kelly, was very responsive to all of our questions. The AC units worked great, although there was often a very nice breeze off the water so keeping the windows open is a great option. As a prior rental property owner ourselves, please be respectful of the owner and don't keep the windows open and the ACs on!! The kids loved the pool in the mornings and evenings. It's no surprise that groceries on the island are more expensive than what we pay on the mainland. Please do yourself a favor and take inventory of what's in the unit before making your first grocery run. Assuming most folks have to fly home and can't (or just don't) take things with them, we found a lot of small items, ketchup, mustard, syrup, coffee filters, charcoal, bug spray, etc. Easily $50+ worth of items that you can save on. The property is on the East side of the island. We really liked being on the quieter side of things. We hiked to Issac's Bay almost daily. If you've never visited St. Croix, locals are very nice and very respectful. They appreciate small greetings like "good morning" or "good afternoon." If you walk into a coffee shop, restaurant, grocery, etc. you can be viewed as rude if you don't greet people first, prior to ordering. Please take a quick moment to be polite! It will go a long way towards your overall experience. Enjoy!

Villa Madeline is a charming community of separate mini-homes with private pools built into a hillside. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The views are amazing, it really is a gem of a place! The unit we rented, Villa Pineapple has so much potential, just in need of some TLC Villa Pineapple’s furnishings were comfortable and charming. The air-conditioning units in the bedroom and living room worked well especially when ceiling fans were utilized. This is an end unit, so neighbors on one side only. Our stay was very peaceful. There were plenty of beach towels and we found beach chairs in the closet. Things we would have appreciated ( next guests will too) : Two bath towels per person. We borrowed from the swim towels. The kitchen is in dire need of glassware: One glass and three plastic tumblers weren't enough. A few more mugs would have been great too. We were really looking forward to making blended drinks, however the blender had been broken and not yet replaced. Pool Area: The teak wood loungers were nice but really needed clean and comfortable cushions. The chairs with the small table were uncomfortable and rickety, not very functional especially for dining. Substantial pool loungers / chairs and an umbrella would have been great. We were disappointed to see that there was no grill. Our host Kelly was communicative and kind in letting us check out a little later. We had a lovely time in St. Croix.

We had a great trip. One complaint was the patio furniture outside was not comfortable to sit on at all. Otherwise everything else was as described! We will definitely be visiting Villa Madeline again!!

The views are amazing and location is fantastic but this villa could use some TLC! Also, glass ware was very limited for a unit that can house 4 adults. Several pool tiles were broken and French doors were hard to operate due to lack of maintenance. Overall it is a great place that just needs some care

Wonderful stay.. enjoyed the unit and it’s location. This is a lovely property. However, Pool area needs upgrade…pads for chairs (dirty, flat and unusable ) umbrella (stand there but no umbrella), pool tiles missing. Kitchen had 1 wine glass….no blender! Just some things that would have made it fantastic!!!

My parents, boyfriend and I came to St. Croix to visit friends and the Villa Madeleine was wonderful! It’s exactly as pictured/listed. There were a few minor issues- AC in living room wasn’t working when we arrived and no available broom in our unit- but Kelly was quick to address both. I would certainly stay there again when visiting St. Croix!

Loved the hilltop location and view. The private pool was great for swimming anytime of day or night. The amenities including high-speed internet were very good. Restaurants and down town Christiansted shopping is a quick 15 minute drive. And the beaches are even closer. This gated community was safe and the property well maintained.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described on VRBO. The pool and the view was a definite plus. We look forward to returning.

My husband and I were at this property location 20 years ago and it is even better than our first visit. Villa Pineapple has the ambience we wanted, feeling the island breezes through the shutters, but AC at night. Showering with the louvers open a bit felt like an outdoor shower and the pink tile reminded me of marble I saw in Europe, with the pink of a conch shell. Kitchen is perfectly equipped with all you need. I love the large braided rugs in living area and bedroom since they felt so good underfoot. The private pool and nice table and chairs for breakfast and dinner each day were just what we needed. The views are beautiful!!! We went to Mermaid Beach and others, but Tamarind Reef was our favorite. Don't miss St. George Botanical Garden. The Owner's direction & guidebook is very helpful. The gorgeous 4 poster bed is just great!!

I absolutely loved our stay at the Villa. It was so peaceful, perfect, and just as advertised. The villa was well stocked and there were enough provisions to get us through the first night and more. The handbook was well thought out and really helped us get acquainted with the island. Kelly was great, although we really didn’t need to reach out to her during our stay. Amazing vacation and I highly recommend! We will be back!

This place is perfect if you want peace and quiet and not be in the middle of the city. Beautiful beaches within minutes, restaurants within minutes. Christeansted is about a 15 min drive away. The house itself is great, has everything you need, Kelly was beyond amazing! We would definitely love to stay here again!

For the most part loved everything about the villa. It was listed in the amenities when I booked that there was a grill but when we arrived it was not there. Kelly asked the owner if it was going to be replaced and they said no. I wish the listing would of been updated to state that ahead of time. Also, some of the dished were dirty upon arrival, only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one extra roll of paper towels. I contacted Kelly and she asked for more to be delivered. One roll each bathroom was put in the room while we were gone so we did end up having to buy toilet paper and paper towels while there. The lighting wall fixture in the dining area had burned out bulbs and the cabinet with the supplies is locked so I bought bulbs as there is no over head lighting, just table lamps. I would also suggest stating that the second bedroom and bathroom off of the pool area has to be entered form the pool area, you have to go outside to get in. It might not be the best for a family with kids staying in a separate room. No laundry detergent is provided as well. We did buy some and left it behind. The location of the property was great for us, very quiet and not far from anything. We had an awesome stay and would book again, just those few issues but not a deal breaker.

The villa is in a nice area located near Duggan’s Reef, which we enjoyed eating at. The listing does describe a grill and appropriate kitchen furnishings, which were not provided and since we love to cook fresh local fish, this was a huge bummer. We weren’t able to cook some of the food we purchased for the grill. The villa did not provide any sort of trash bags, laundry detergents, etc which made doing laundry impossible so pack detergent, trash bags, etc. I’ve never stayed anywhere you had to provide your own, especially an island where you cannot take powders or large quantities back home with you. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was lacking—every cup & plate we pulled out we had to wash. Coffee lines, etc., but I’d imagine the owner has no idea the cleaning crew isn’t doing their job! Villa was very dusty and sinks unclean, but not a deal breaker. We just had to clean everything ourselves. Great bang for your buck overall and with a little improvement in cleanliness and amenities, it’d be a 5 star from us.

Great, private location in the East End of the island, convenient to Christiansted and Point Udall. Pool was larger than I imagined and deep, great for relaxing after a day at the beach or sightseeing. Property included three chairs, several towels, rafts, noodles, beach toys, etc. Modern kitchen with all the amenities. Great place for family trips.

Everything about this villa was perfect. Incredible ocean views and a feel of seclusion to emulate your own private oasis. The villa lacked nothing in terms of amenities. We did need to buy all of our own food but that is normal. Even with an island wide power outage the villa is equipped with a generator so while the rest of the community was dark my wife and I had power back on in no time at all. The stay was better than we could have imagined and we will be back.

Kelly’s place was absolutely perfect for me and my 2 girls. The property was stunning, very clean and very private. We had a beautiful view of the Caribbean from our balcony which I enjoyed every morning while I drank my coffee or sat outside with my 9 year old daughter while she was swimming. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and my 15 year old daughter was a extremely happy with her huge shower. We had plenty of space for us but could have easily fit more people comfortably. We were also very close to many beaches and restaurants. We even explored some of the smaller beaches that are not really advertised and found a couple that we actually had completely to ourselves (my only recommendation is to have water shoes as those beaches were a little rocky but still gorgeous). I would absolutely book Kelly’s place again if we ever come back to St. Croix. The Pineapple Villa is it’s own little slice of heaven and Kelly was very was to communicate with. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend Kelly’s place to anyone planning to visit the island.

Overall this place was perfect. Loved having the private pool and the 2 bed bath set up Wish there were screens to open the doors and not have to use AC. Needs some minor updating with windows and had some minor plumbing issues at the end of our stay. Not a deal breaker and would probably rent again if we visit the island. Relaxing vacation !

If you are looking for a piece of paradise, this is the home for you. Kelly is a fantastic host whose home is warm and welcoming. Most days, we stayed in and relaxed around the pool. If we needed anything, we knew she would be available and happy to help. This is a place I look forward to visiting yearly.

I’m originally from St Croix and brought my family down for a visit before Christmas. Everything was amazing and it was great to be back. Communication was impeccable with Kelly, the WiFi was surprisingly awesome, and the pool was a delight. Thanks so much. We’ll definitely be back.
