Very nice house perfect for a vacation. Hot tub was great, as was the gas fireplace on chilly evenings. Nice open first floor with modern kitchen stocked with everything you need. Located right on the water with great views.

Even with our own sign in we never could get the Roku to work so TV was sketchy at best. As clean and lovely as everything was, the dead bugs in the window blinds is off-putting! Cheap shades would be an improvement.

nice property and location. the heat did not work in many of the rooms. the fireplace only worked for 2 hours. could not get it to work any more. home was laid out well. could use one more bathroom for large groups.

We have stayed at this property multiple times. Each time we have enjoyed the stay and the area. The property is well maintained and stocked for an enjoyable weekend. We were able to utilize the provided kayak and stand-up paddle boards to explore the lake and then jump in the hot tub to warm up. We would recommend this location to friends and we will stay here again in the future.

We had a great week at the property. A couple of issues arose, communication was excellent and the problem addressed promptly. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment. Renting a boat from the marina next door, launching our kayaks from the private and using the house as a base for exploring wineries were super convenient.

The house is beautiful, and the owners have thought of everything! The location was perfect, the house had anything you could have wanted, we enjoyed our stay very much.

The family aged 7 months to 73 years spent a fun week! We especially enjoyed the large dining table on the covered, lake side porch! The main downer was too much glass on the shore and in the water for swimming.

The property was clean, warm, and very inviting. Power outage due to wind and the Property Manager was more than accessible, she was very communicative. We had a great time!

We enjoyed our visit and having direct access to the lake was a plus since we brought our boat. The only thing I suggest is that they organize the kitchen items (especially cooking utensils in drawers) in the cabinets and have the cleaning staff dust the cob webs.

First time staying in The Finger Lakes and we enjoyed it! Centrally located home that was very relaxing and quiet. We did get a bit of action from the small marinas beside us when the holiday weekend came, otherwise, very peaceful!We would stay again in a heartbeat!

This Keuka Lake property is as advertised! BIG and BRIGHT living area, great DOCK for boating, kayaking, etc., and a large lakefront DECK off the back of the house. The beds were large kings and very COMFORTABLE. Keuka Lake was so empty and quiet the week of June 14-21, it felt like it was PRIVATE! The location near the marina was concerning at first, but turned out to be NO ISSUE at all. (We even rented a boat next door!) This home was CLEAN and SPACIOUS with a well-stocked kitchen, towels, sheets, and tons of outdoor amenities like inflatable boats, citronella candles, deck chairs, etc. 10 people fit comfortably. Our only issue was that some of the appliances need fixing. The ice maker was frozen. The dishwasher leaked. Our biggest issue was that we booked this house specifically for the available hot tub, but it did not work. According to the owner, the tub was "fried" the previous week during a power surge and was supposed to be fixed near the beginning of our stay... but it never was. The owner did offer a partial refund, which was appreciated, however I believe I should have been alerted to this the week prior to our stay, so we could have had the opportunity to book a new property if we wanted. However, this did not distract much from a fantastic week and I recommend this home to future travelers!

We had an amazing time! The house was beautiful, clean and the pictures did not lie! I will definitely stay again! Joleen was so helpful whenever I needed her.. Just amazing!

My family stays at rental homes quite a bit. Unfortunately, we cut our stay short because we couldn’t handle the filth one more day. The house was covered in dust, cobwebs, and dead bugs. We had to clean all the floors and surfaces upon arrival at the house. Our rags were black. There were cobwebs around all of the furniture and around the perimeter of all the rooms. The property does have high ceilings but the ceilings were caked in cobwebs and the fans were caked in dust, as were the very reachable bathroom vents. This showed neglect far beyond just a few months. Additionally, the main floor toilet was disgusting and had to be cleaned. Outside, the furniture was filthy and we couldnt even sit on the porch. As for the chairs on the pier...they are flaking paint so bad that you can’t sit on them without being covered in tiny paint particles. I did not notify anyone during our stay because there was no acceptable way To rectify the situation (we weren’t going to have someone come in and clean while there, especially when it would just be the same people that already did a poor job). When I did reach out after the fact to warn the manager, I was told that their cleaning supervisor assured them it was in great condition and that I needed to provide proof. I was not seeking any sort of refund, just trying to let people know how disgusting the house was so they could rectify it before the next guest. Only people who don’t mind existing in filth should rent this house. Otherwise, it has a great location, amenities and floor plan.

We had the best time. All of our family loved the place.

A beautiful home which is very well furnished. Our family enjoyed the week fishing, kayaking and floating on the huge raft. The fire pit was enjoyed at night. A nice peaceful and relaxing week with family. Recommend it highly!

Our group had a wonderful time at Al & Leslie’s home. The property was clean and well furnished. We were able to enjoy our time in the hot tub with great views. We had a great time celebrating the New Year by watching the ball drop in the comfort of a lake house. Would recommend!

We came in May 2018 for my husband's 40th birthday. We traveled with our 2 year old son. We absolutely LOVED the property! It's beautiful! Sitting on the back deck was one of our favorite things to do the entire week! The views are amazing! All three of us tried fishing all week but had no luck! We still had a ton of fun! The hot tub was an added bonus! We hope to return this summer!

This location is quiet and tucked away. During the fall/winter it is very tranquil and relaxing. However, it is a quick drive to a major grocery store if needed. The location also is located near several breweries. The house itself is really nice and well maintained. The owners have done a great job with upkeep and recently replaced all of the counters, further improving an excellent kitchen. Our group had a great time, we especially loved the hot tub as it snowed outside. We will be returning again in 2019!

We enjoyed our time at the retreat tremendously. To say it was a slice of heaven is the perfect summation! Booked for next year already! Thank you very much for your gracious hospitality Al & Leslie.

This house is very beautiful - the design and location is great. A lot of sleeping room for many people - we had a great time. The only downside during our stay was that we could not get the hot tub to work...we followed the instructions, even called the owners and It would still not turn on. we kept getting an "Error" message. We turned it on, let it sit for aprox an hour to warm up and the water never got warmer - which was a bummer because we were really looking forward to using the hot tub during out stay. Another suggestion; almost all of the remotes needed new batteries - it was very frustrating trying to change the channel or turn on the fireplace and the batteries being dead - please update this for your next guests. Overall, we had a great stay and I would recommend this house!!

Our stay was amazing. Just a little disappointed that the hot tub was not working. The house was beautiful and kept very clean. We stayed for the wineglass half marathon. We had 10 people in the house. We probably needed three bathrooms. It all worked out. The fireplace on the dock is awesome.

I stayed at this house with a group of friends for a long weekend, and we had a wonderful time. The house has everything you might possible need, and lots of seating areas, which was great with a big group. We enjoyed the hot tub and the kayaks. The ONLY thing that would have been nicer is if it were in a clearer area, away from the marina. But other than that, it's a perfect place!

This was our 2nd year at Pleasant Bay and we had a great stay. The house is nicely appointed and Al and Lesley have made numerous upgrades in the kitchen this year. There is everything you need for cooking, a wide open floor plan to share with family and friends and the grandkids caught numerous fish off the dock. A great place to spend time with family.

Owners are great to work with. Where else could you find a host who comes to your aid with a TV on a Sunday evening?? Our second year at Pleasant Bay and will be our first choice every year in the future. Rip

This was the perfect house to stay at with a group of 3 families. Plenty of open space to play and relax. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and responded quickly to any questions. Would definitely stay at this house again the next time we vist the finger lakes.
