We rented this house because my daughter was graduating from Fort Lewis College and it was so much fun. The game room was awesome for the family and the grad party. Plenty of space to spread out the families!

This was a great place to stay for 6 adults no kids. Obviously 2 adults had to stay in game room but you know that before you go. Great location the walk to the lifts was very easy and accessible. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Purgatory.

The lodge at purgatory
It was a fun place, and we throughly enjoyed ourself, the outdoors were breathtaking. The owner was very responsive and replied to all our queries asap.

Great break while remote learning!
Awesome location! 20 minutes to Durango. Wonderful school-age playground, reservoir and Purgatory Creek Trailhead just across the street. Backside of Purgatory ski resort. An hr from Silverton! Toms of room to sprrad out.

Great family stay!!!
We recently stayed at this property and overall it was great! This property is huge and we loved having enough space for all of us to spread out and not be right on top of each other. We had 6 young kids and 5 adults in our group and could all sit around the huge dining table. The game room and outdoor spaces were great for the kids. The property mgmt co was also very responsive to the few small issues that arose and were quick to correct them.

Purgatory visit
This property has been nicely redone with lots of space and great views. The kitchen is large and has plenty of supplies. There were a couple kitchen cabinet fronts missing, we had difficulty opening the doors with confusion due to 2 lock boxes and which doors they open, and the bunk beds were not suitable for an adult if even a child on the bottom because the mattress is thin and the bars beneath can be felt. The outside area is dilapidated and weedy. The adjacent room I believe is available to rent as well but we had neighbors who had a loud barking dog which was annoying.
Once we got in and settled the place was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the large space, fire pit, and the views from the beautiful large windows.

Beautiful Home could use repair and upkeep
Upon arrival we weren't sure if we were in the right place because the landscaping was in dire need of attention. Inside it was beautiful., rooms are spacious and game room was great. The faucet in the guest bathtub was running and would not turn off, the shower doors in this bathroom were new but did not fit and would not close. Master bathtub didn't have a shower door only a frame and a soured shower curtain that wadded up in the floor of the tub, pieces of the kitchen cabinets actually missing, several spider webs on ceiling beams and the windows were really dirty. Maintenance (super nice guy) was contacted. he brought over a fan and replaced the shower curtain with a new one. We lived with the rest for the week.

Perfect floorplan
This house has amazing views, it's right off the main road, across the street from a lake and Purgatory Creek trailhead. The 2 bedrooms have their own bathrooms, and the huge rec room has 2 bunks, a pool table, couches and tv, dart board and ping pong. Plenty of room for everyone to hang out together or spread out. We would definitely stay here again.
