We stayed 2 weeks at this cute guest house. Super short walk to the beach. Lots of beach items to borrow: chairs, umbrella, floats… House was bright and clean. We felt super comfortable there like we were home. We’d definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area!

This property was awesome! LaVeda has EVERYTHING you need for the beach! Umbrellas, chairs, towels, boogie boards, ect. the list goes on! The guest house was very clean, stocked, and perfect for a couple! The beach entrance is visible from the property, and St. Armand’s is close as well. We enjoyed riding the bikes that LaVeda supplied in the evening! We plan on staying at this property again next summer!

My new husband and I stayed at the guest house for a week on our honeymoon. We had both never been to the Sarasota/Anna Maria Island area, and were blown away with how beautiful it was. This stay is perfectly located 10 min from downtown Sarasota, and about 30-50 min from Anna Maria Island and Siesta Key. We were able to try out different beaches, and enjoy the activities in Sarasota.
LaVeda was the perfect host. We couldn’t have asked for better communication or hospitality. Her guest house was equipped with everything we needed and more. What we loved the most was how this stay has bikes! We normally rent bikes on our trips, but this allowed us to save some money. We biked to St. Armand’s and to the beach to watch sunsets throughout the week. The beach equipment and bikes were very thoughtful and made our stay so enjoyable. I highly recommend booking with LaVeda for a romantic and relaxing getaway!

We felt very comfortable in this beautiful, cute holiday apartment. The cleanliness of the apartment was impeccable. The apartment is fully equipped and there are also enough kitchen utensils. In the garage you will find everything you need for the beach. The gas grill also worked well, so we could grill too. The beach can be reached in two minutes on foot. There are also many other beaches that are a little further away and are all very beautiful. St. Armands Circle is also within walking distance. The communication in advance with LaVeda worked great. Thank you for allowing us to be your guest. We would book this holiday apartment again.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. LaVeda’s property is conveniently located to all the fun activities, shopping and restaurants Lido Key/St Armand’s has to offer. The apartment itself was just as clean and beautiful as we remembered and had everything we needed for our 10 day vacation. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellent location, especially for the price. The Trolley was a very pleasant surprise. Very well equipped as advertised. We were in need of an allen wrench and sure enough we found an entire set in the bookcase drawer. So handy to have a large refrigerator and microwave. We did get to meet LaVeda's husband and he was very nice. There were enough pots and pans to feed an army. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The home itself was beautiful, and every room was decorated with care and style. It was clear that the owner had put a lot of thought into creating a space that was both comfortable and inviting.

Everything top notch. Location right across from beach. Place is exactly like the pictures. Quality interior. Kitchen and bathroom stocked with all you need. Loved having the ground coffee stocked on arrival. Washer and dryer with detergent. Bed creeks loudly when getting up, but mattress good and the linens and pillows lovely along with quality bath towels. Everything was beautifully appointed and so comfortable. Best part of our stay was the hostess. Great communication - she kept us informed as hurricane Ian swept through before our arrival date. We stayed 3 weeks and had such a delightful time. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

I had a wonderful week at this cozy, light-filled guest house. I am a long-time visitor to Siesta Key, but I decided to try Lido Key when I found this charming property. The owner responded to every question within a few minutes and was always gracious. It is no surprise that the property is booked solid until May 2023. I highly recommend the guest house, the larger house on the same lot and Lido Key itself.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The location was perfect...a short walk to the beach access, St Armand's Circle and the Community Pool. The city offers a free trolley ride from 8am-12am to downtown Sarasota and this was located just 5 minutes away. The property owner has the apartment set up very nicely with special soaps and other toiletries which was such a special touch. There are plenty of beach gear, beach buggy and bikes that are shared among renters in the main house. All you need to pack is your swim suit for this trip! We love Lido Beach and all it has to offer.

Perfect location, great property
The location is amazing. Comfortable walk to St. Armands Circle for restaurants and shopping, the beach is even closer. There are kayak tours that launch from the park just another short walk. Literally everything was a less than 10 min. walk away. The property is perfect. My son is 10 and loved the cool loft with the ladder for his room. The kitchen has everything you need. Laveda also had all of the beach supplies you could want downstairs. She even had a tandem bike! My son loved our bicycle for two ride around the neighborhood and said it was his favorite part of his trip!!! We will be back.

Lido Key Vacation
My husband and I reserved Laveda’s vacation rental for a 10 day stay on Lido Key. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, conveniently located to all the cool activities and restaurants St Armand’s has to offer. She even had beach chairs, beach umbrellas, coolers, and bicycles available for us to borrow. We had a chance to briefly chat with Laveda while we were there, super nice lady. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Quiet, Clean and Close!
It was a very short walk to the beach and had everything we needed. Well stocked on supplies and had several options for the beach including boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrellas. The beach was a lot less congested and it wasn’t as commercialized and busy as Siesta Key. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And would definitely stay again.
