Property was exactly as described and about an easy 15 minutes from Jay Peak. The house was well kept, had great views, and I much appreciated the complimentary coffee. My kids loved the dart board and running around outside in the snow. Wifi worked well, and the house had everything we were looking for during our family ski vacation. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Excellent ski house with great layout. Property was newer and very well maintained. Cleanest ski house we’ve ever stayed in including our own. Highly recommended. We had a very good trip and the hosts were terrific!

Great place near jay peak, well located. As described. An other bathroom would have been great considering the fact that there’s 8 sleeping spot. We were 7 so it was inconvenient to only have one bathroom. Would have been nice to be able to use the indoor electric fireplace but it was locked.

Everything went smoothly regarding check in, check out and communication. The house was great, just as pictured in photos. Clean house and a quick drive to Jay Peak!

The Journeys End Chalet sits about 20 minutes outside of Newport City center, about 20 minutes from Jay Peak ski resort, and 10 minutes from the Canadian border. The house is clean, safe, comfortable and quiet. The owners were attentive and responsive. We would book this property again in a heartbeat.

We came to get away from it all -- relax, recharge, hike a little and bike a little - this home was the perfect place for all of that. Nicely decorated, comfy furniture, super clean, well cared for and most of all quiet. The wind was the loudest noise we heard aside from the pop-up t-storms in the afternoon and nearby fireworks display early on our second night. Only a handful of cars passed on the dirt road during the day. It really is a place of peace. Kitchen is well stocked (even good prep knives!) and the flat-top grill is amazing. Excellent WiFi to reconnect and catch up on Netflix at night. Pool table and darts on the lowest level was a fun bonus! The 'utility' area of the lowest level was perfect for storing our bikes and bike rack when we were not using them. Our normally play-active pups loved simply lounging on the deck which speaks to the calming nature of the home and this area of VT in general. The views from the deck are great during the day and stargazing heaven at night. The trails on the property were fun for quick jaunts with the dogs. It's easy to access the Jay Community Rec Center trails, the Long trail, and just a short drive from the cute town of Newport. We biked Memphremagog as well as the Craftsbury Outdoor Center - both a little further away but entirely worth it. H&A - can't thank you enough for your hospitality, generosity and playing a part in my special b-day retreat. We hope to visit again soon!

Great property and location! Hosts were very attentive and easy to communicate with. Our only disappointment was that the grill was not there, despite it being listed as one of the amenities. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property with all the necessary amenities. Enough space for six adults, with room to spare. Only a short drive to Jay Peak. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in close proximity to a great mountain.

Amazing place to stay when visiting jay peak. Appreciate everything the home provided

A very nice place. Smaller but laid out well. Kitchen well stocked with check in treats that were appreciated. Owners were great. The “security cameras in use” emphasis reduced my enthusiasm along with the “smile you’re on camera” signs in the woods next to the house. I wanted a secluded, private experience and this wasn’t it.

We've traveled extensively around the world and the owners of this property have clearly put a ton of effort into making sure you have everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Very well maintained. If you are looking for a mountain getaway, definitely consider this place.

This was a very enjoyable experience to have stayed at this property located in a quiet and mostly secluded location. The house was very clean and well-equipped to accomodate our entire group of 8. Being only about 15 minutes away from Jay Peak, this property was a fantastic "bang-for-the-buck" and a great place to relax after a long day of skiing/snowboarding. Will be recommending this property to others and hope to return soon!

We had a perfect stay. It’s a great, safe location to bring dogs with a nice hiking trail right up the road. The home is spotless and very well appointed and equipped. The hosts are fantastic. I only wish it was bigger so I could bring more friends and family next time we come! :)

We rented the Journeys End Chalet for a Thanksgiving getaway with our boys and dogs. Very clean, beautiful decor, and dog friendly! They even had dogs bowls and a dog bed for our doggies! We liked it so much, we asked to stay another night and luckily, it was available. The owners were very helpful and communicated well. Can't wait to rent it again!

We needed a get away from home work weekend with our dogs and this beautiful place checked all of the boxes for us. The decor was updated, Wi-Fi was supercharged except for in the master and the views gorgeous!

It was wonderful! A lot of fun for kids to play! Awesome home!
