Walking from the parking lot to the condo is definitely a challenge as other reviews of pointed out, but you get used to it. The immediate culture around the condos is definitely worth this day. The buildings are a little dated. However, the condo itself was very much remodeled and modern. The host was very prompt with any and all concerns and was especially helpful prior and during our stay. The location was perfect and allowed you to have quick access to the popular touring areas on the island versus staying in San Juan. Several casinos were located throughout the area I would go to tropical.

We loved that the apartment building was right next to a 2 mile stretch of beach that was also a national park so no development and at times it felt we had the beach all to ourselves. We did need a car to get groceries, but many options 5-10 minutes away. The property manager Monica was helpful and responsive. Great place for a relaxing hang out at the beach vacation. Loved the porch!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was wonderful to hear the waves constantly crashing against the shore. The view from the balcony is amazing and the location is perfect for exploring the east side of Puerto Rico. Monica was an excellent host. She provided great suggestions for exploring the island and responded promptly when we had a question about the internet. The apartment was clean and we appreciated the beach toys and towels. Would diffinently stay hear again.

Very clean condo with outstanding ocean views. Basic, secure building in working-class neighborhood. We liked the "local vibe" with the stray cats and chickens around, but it's not for everyone. This was our first trip to PR and we are glad we chose this place. We wanted a genuine PR experience not a sanitized resort and we appreciated the easy beach access and the ability to see and mix with the local townspeople. It's a quick drive to beautiful Loquillo Beach and the kioskos. The rain forest and Fajardo excursions are also not far. We always looked forward to returning to this quiet and comfortable condo at the end of the day. It's a bit of a challenge to first negotiate the layout of the parking garage and buildings but it's easy soon enough. Would not hesitate to book here again.

Comfortable with a great view.

The view from here is unbeatable and the short amount of time to walk from condo to the ocean was no more than 5 min. They do lock the gates at 6 but it only takes about another 5 min to walk around the building and be right there!!! The parking was not as terrible as made out to be! There was pleanty of food in walking distance and the condo itself was easy to be comfortable in. I was slight disappointed about there not being the fruit and flowers as the description on line said as I keep these at home and thought it would be a nice touch , HOWEVER this stay was so relaxing and we would definitely come back!!

The view from the balcony did not disappoint, it was beautiful. We could hear and enjoy the waves. The listing was accurate and Monica was vet helpful. My only suggestion is to have blinds and AC in the living room. The bedroom did stay really cool though. I would stay here again when we come back!

Our unit has an amazing view of the ocean. It has all the amenities and comfort we needed during our stay. Online listing is very accurate. Thank you for providing plenty of bath and beach towels. The condo is a short drive to everything. There are grocery stores, pharmacies and lots of restaurants nearby. If you’re planning to visit El Yunque, Carabali rainforest adventure (highly recommend), bio bay tour, snorkel tour and nice beaches, it’s less than 20 minute drive. San Juan, Old San Juan and airport is just 40 minute drive. Monica, our host is wonderful. She communicated everything from checking in and out, parking arrangement and gave listings to explore on the island. In the beginning, I was having second thoughts about staying in Luquillo but glad we did. We enjoyed our stay and I recommend this condo. Puerto Rico did not disappoint!

The condo was the perfect accommodation for our trip! Monica's instructions for check-in were clear and spot on. The few times I had questions, she was quick to respond. The location was ideal for us- just minutes away from the food kiosks in Luquillo, the beach and el Yunque. My only suggestion would be to add blinds to the living room to help keep the temperature down.

I’d like to start off saying the view & cleanliness of the apartment is wonderful. Plus the layout is great. Property manager was extremely helpful and kind (also super easy to get a hold of!) - however no one mentioned it is a FAR walk (through a dark parking garage) from the assigned parking spot to the front door, also you have to walk slightly uphill for a portion of it. In the PR heat, was not fun. Especially getting back at night. The building is very old so the elevators are very sketchy (you get to your destination eventually) but I did have a mild panic attack trying to follow the instructions given. To my luck, Security guard saw me on the camera panicking and called me to help me. Like I said, the balcony view and apartment interior is great & super clean. But the building and parking situation made me want to stay elsewhere in the future.

Everything was just about perfect with my stay. Beautiful view, cozy & clean apartment, & they also had games & beach attire if needed. I would definitely recommend this spot but hopefully it isn't booked for my next stay👍👍

Everything we needed with amazing views

This location is perfect for anyone in need of relaxing! I stayed at this lovely condo for 7 days, you have everything you need right at your fingertips and the views from the balcony are priceless. Loved my stay, thank you for having us!

Entering the condo we were impressed at how clean it was .Then observing our view from the balcony we were taken away with what we saw JUST AN AMAZING VIEW. If you are looking for a place to stay while visiting Puerto Rico look no further ..

The location of this property with its view was perfect. We rented a car so we were able to do activities/adventures and meals with ease. The recommendations given to us by Monica & Beth were fantastic. Monica was very receptive and responsive when we had questions. I will never forget sitting on the balcony with the amazing view.

So happy we found this rental. It worked out great for our family of 4. If you are looking for an alternative to a resort, this may work for you. The only downside was the ocean in front of the condo was too dangerous for our young kids to swim in. There were other options for swimming though and the pool was very nice. The condo was nicely kept and the building was safe with several walking distance options for restaurants. The balcony did appear in need of some repair but nothing to lose sleep over as the view is breathtaking! We enjoyed our stay immensely!

We had a very relaxing experience. The view of the ocean was incredible and we would spend hours sitting on the balcony watching the waves. There was a lot of great food within walking distance and an amazing coffee / breakfast place called coffee therapy

We cannot say enough about our stay in the condo. As everyone has already mentioned, the views are even better than the pictures and the condo is perfect- clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The guard on duty when we checked in was extremely helpful and the other guards we met were friendly. We didn't use the air conditioning at all (mid March stay), because of the breeze coming off the ocean. The sound of waves each night was incredible! The neighborhood is charming and the cats, dogs, and chickens roaming added to the experience. Just a few things to note: when you go to do your laundry, take a $10 bill and then add more money on the card right away. It will only take a $10 to get the card, but then we had to add more money on (takes $5s, $10s, or $20s) to finish our load. Also, things are not always unlocked at the posted times, so keep that in mind. Finally, if you are going during Puerto Rico's winter months (December-March), the waves on the north are often extremely high and there are often dangerous rip currents (no matter the beach on the north side). That being said, we often had the beach to ourselves when we walked to the east. We went to several different beaches and the one right at the condo was our favorite! It was a magical experience and we will be going back! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home!

Ocean view

Great waterfront condo, the water went out in the city while we stayed and the host came by to bring us extra Water right away. She was very attentive and helped whenever we needed It!

This nightmare started with getting notice that I have to park three stories down below grade, and also noting that the elevator didn't work in the garage just a day or so before leaving. Being a busy week, getting ready for my wedding I noticed it and thought (red flag #1) but too late to change. When we got there it was worse than I expected...so we parked on the main where there were hardly any cars, so that my soon to be wife could get to the jeep, as she has a bad back and finds it hard to walk long distances on a slippery, smelly dank incline or decline. In 5 minutes...the obnoxious security guard started harassing us. Called the police, banging on our door, yelling at us. I finally gave in and parked in the nasty parking lot, but it was less than a relaxing walk up and down every time we wanted to leave. We took the top off the Jeep we rented and placed it in a safe place but not where the security wanted, so the next day it came up missing and the windshield of the rented jeep was smashed. The apt/condo itself was Ok at first impression, but after realizing the pictures were not representative of the broken hot tub with wires hanging out of it, the nasty pool, no hand rails and steep inclines, with dirty slippery steps...it felt as if we were trapped and mislead (fraud ) getting to it was hell as well with a dirty elevator that floor numbers don't register. The bonus was; the AC didn't work well either but to the owners benefit they had noisy box fans running to compensate. That just pushed a hell of a couple of days over the top as I tried to get some work done and couldn't think straight from the heat and noisy fans trying to keep cool. Over all Hell... look up Sandy Hills in La Quillo and you will find very similar reviews. End story: The owner said that if we didn't like it, leave, and they will refund, not I am sorry, they did mention having someone look at the AC but who wants maintenance working on your place on top of being in a construction zone from other building repairs being preformed ( all not mentioned ) and besides it was too late. Still no contact or refund for the few days we left early - Still no top to our jeep -

This condo was perfect for my family! There were four of us and plenty of room. The view from the balcony is beyond description. We knew we didn't want to stay in San Juan and that Luquillo would be closer to the activities we wanted to do. We spent a lot of time on the beach - with no one else there! We walked to surf lessons and to dinner. The condo had everything in it that we needed for the stay, including a blender so we could make pina coladas!

We had a great time at this property to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. The condo was clean and accommodating with bedroom AC and extra fans. The view from the balcony was breathtaking! Check in was a little confusing but it was more because it was dark and we were unsure where we were going. The condo is in a gated community that is nestled in the local community of Luquillo. We walked all around, day and night, and felt completely safe. We actually met some really nice locals on the beach one day that took the time to educate my teens on the local fishing. The location was great and central to everything on the east coast. If you are expecting luxury, this is not the area for you. BUT if you want a clean, safe and beautiful condo to stay in while you embrace the local culture, then this is it!

People were friendly :) Need more lighting in the bathroom and an outlet. Didn't like the little window panel from the front door , that it opens easily. We liked that it was a private property with guards, made us feel secure. Loved that the restaurants were walking distance Loved Loved Loved the view and sounds of the waves. Our host, Monica, was friendly and attentive. Great a/c in the bedrooms Elevators are tricky Overall great stay and would come back:)

Very easy to check in! Fast communication. Condo had a great view and was clean. We had a wonderful time. The locals are very friendly. I would suggest installing A/C in the living room. It was hot out there but it didn't affect our time!

In short this location was close to everything needed, beautiful and communication was great! Would stay here again!

Our week was great! The condo was perfect! It was a great base for our adventures. Luquillo is a great little town, with the city center just a short stroll away from the condo. Great restaurants and bars. The beach is right down the stairs. We will be back!

Beautiful view of the ocean. Quiet condo - could hear the ocean throughout day and night. Safe area with gated access - 24/7guard on duty. Local community around with multiple eating options, all within walking distance. Property manager had great communication from arrival through departure.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this property. First, the property manager, Ed, was very welcoming and hilarious. He greeted us, made us comfortable and gave us a list of places to eat and things to do. The views of the ocean were amazing and it was easy to access the beach for walking and swimming. The beds were super comfortable the the AC units worked well. We had no complaints about the property. The only thing I would suggest is that more than one set of keys be provided so that people can come and go as they please without having to coordinate a key exchange.
