Stayed here with my fiancé, grandparents, and parents as well as some of bridal party for my wedding at castle farms. From the moment we pulled up, we were blown away. A welcome basket was awaiting us, host gave all necessary information prior to check-in. Seconds to the beach; property was well equipped and very clean. You can tell that the host has been doing this for a very long time, as everything was simply perfect. WOW! Thank you for helping make this life celebration so much better with this amazing property. Would rate 12 out of 10 stars and recommend to ANYONE!

Returned for our 2nd stay, and loved it just as much as the first visit! The water view and proximity to downtown can't be beat - best of both worlds! Home is well appointed and super clean.

Visited Charlevoix for a wedding at Castle Farms. The Palmer house location had a water view out all front windows plus the sidewalk along the channel allowed easy walk-ability to town as well as guests who may be staying at the hotels and condos to walk to our rental. The house is clean and comfortable, open floor plan on the first floor, large deck in the front and large patio in the back. The owners are not new to renting as everything is easy to use and to maintain cleanliness. The small parking lot between the house and water does have lights at night but can easily be blocked with the bedroom shades. The lot also adds extra parking and room to the rental. This rental met all expectations and helped us have a great wedding weekend.

We couldn’t have been more happy with our stay. The location was beautiful with great views of the lake. The home was decorated so nice with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved that we could relax, make dinner and enjoy a beautiful bonfire after dinner. It is walking distance to town and very clean. Thanks to the owner Tim who was always very responsive.

We have been vacationing in Charlevoix for thirty years. It’s become our home away from home. Our family has outgrown the hotel we use to stay at. We found this Vrbo and it was spacious, clean, quiet, steps from the beach, and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Tim was very quick in responding to any help we needed.

This was our second time staying at Tim’s beautiful home! The home, layout and location are perfect! We had a fabulous time staying there with our four children! We especially appreciated the very well equipped kitchen, extra beach towels, beach wagon, high chair/pack and play and shampoo/body wash in the bathrooms. Tim is a fantastic host and his communication is excellent! He promptly addressed our questions and we appreciated that so much! We hope to be back next year!

Perfect house for any group. The location is amazing…a minute walk to the beach, five minute walk to town. Watch the boats on the canal and don’t miss the sunsets!! Very well appointed and clean property! We will be back. We absolutely loved sitting on the front porch.

Newer home, very large bedrooms, well appointed with upgraded appliances. Excellent layout. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend this VRBO! We will be back.

Very nice house, clean, well maintained and equipped. Plenty of space, Beds are very comfortable! View on lake from porch and all Bedrooms. Parking lot directly in front of house, so parking multiple cars is not a problem. Patio is great for BBQ and/or Bonfire. The welcome basket was a very nice surprise - thanks Tim! Overall great place, we enjoyed our stay very much!

The bridesmaids stayed here to get ready for my daughters wedding. It worked out perfectly! Lots of seating and openness in dining/living room area.

This is the 2nd year we stayed here. It is perfect. Clean, perfect location for all ski resorts, and so close to downtown Charlevoix. Tim was great with any questions we had.

We stayed two nights. We live relatively close, but have made it a small tradition to visit the area in the fall time. The property fits our needs perfectly and we would highly recommend it!

Overall a very good experience renting with Tim and staying at the Palmer House. The Palmer house location was superb overlooking part of Lake Michigan and the channel leading into Lake Charlevoix. The place was as described! And when there was an issue with the door Tim was very quick to resolve.

Absolutely wonderful stay in Charlevoix for a wedding weekend. Location was perfect, and the home was well stocked with the essentials. Tim was even really helpful and responsive! I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a family get away.

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home on Lake Michigan and the adjoining Lake Charlevoix! Home was perfect and just gorgeous. The location was amazing as we could walk to everything we needed along with a short drive to area towns (Petoskey, Bellaire and Traverse City). Tim was very courteous and prompt in his hospitality needs or checkins. Views were even better than pictured. We will be hopefully be back soon!

The house was absolutely beautiful. A nice welcome basket was provided when we arrived. Very clean, spacious and had anything you may need. Great location, less than a 3 minute walk to the beach and less than 5 minutes to downtown. Views off the front porch looking out to the lake we’re amazing. We will definitely try to book again.

This property exceeded our expectations. It’s location is a jump to the beach, lake view, enjoyable walk to downtown (10 mins) and the house was spectacular. Highly recommend!

The Palmer House was the perfect place for our family. Tim was a great host - the welcome basket and "welcome to the house" message were so thoughtful - gave me peace of mind that if we needed to reach him for any reason, he would be available. This house has a beautiful and spacious front porch - a great place to hangout and watch the boats on the canal - we could even see the large boats from inside the house! The house had everything we wanted - the main floor has a well-stocked beautiful kitchen with counter bar and stools. The door from the kitchen goes to the backyard grilling and dining space with plenty of seating around the fire pit/chimney. The spacious dining area is open to the large living room with very comfortable chairs and couches. We even turned on the gas fireplace on one of the cool nights - worked perfectly. We loved having a full bath on the main floor near the kitchen and back door - very convenient for a large group. The layout of the second floor was perfect - the three large bedrooms (very comfortable beds/bedding and large closets with shelves and plenty of hangers) are spaced out down the hall with a laundry closet and two full bathrooms. All of the bathrooms were fully stocked - from soap and shampoo to plenty of fluffy towels. Two of the bedrooms have sliding doors that open to the second floor balcony - a beautiful spot to sit and watch the boats coming and going. This wonderful house and ideal location in Charlevoix make it the perfect vacation rental - we look forward to staying here again!

This vacation home exceeded our expectations! The house and grounds were spotless!! Both had everything we needed. But it was the little touches that made it nice. From having enough hangers in every closet to having a wagon to pull provided beach chairs to the lake...convenient and appreciated! Large screen, smart TV, gas fireplace, fire pit in lighted backyard and all high-end appliances and bedding made this home the best ever!
