Thankfully, the pictures of this property were exactly as shown! The house has a great flow & is charming. Exactly as you’d expect for an old home in Annapolis, squeaky floors & slightly steep staircases! Only down side is the 3rd bedroom is on 3rd floor & there is no door & steep stairs. So where we originally putting grandchildren didn’t feel safe. Switched with adults & it was fine! The McNeals were very helpful & friendly! We would absolutely rent this home again! This property was great. After parking our car in the nearby garage we did not need to use it all weekend. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. Wonderful home and wonderful owners.

Work friend getaway and this property was even nicer than pictured! Historic but nicely updated. Accommodations were lovely and spacious. Very clean!! The first night we walked well over a mile to get to dinner, only to realize on the way home that the restaurant was right behind our house. This home is literally right downtown at the marina! Shopping was outstanding and there were so many closeby restaurants. The parking situation is tricky because the garages are an Uber ride away and not inexpensive. One of our party was able to find street parking two blocks away. Book your stay in this home!!!

The house could not be more perfect for what we needed. We invited family down to Annapolis for a good, old-fashioned family Thanksgiving celebration and the house had everything we needed with all of downtown Annapolis right outside the door. It felt like home away from home. Communication was great. The house was just as advertised. Parking in Annapolis is tough but that is not something the owners can do anything about. Just an FYI to those parking downtown.. parking is free over the bridge in Eastport and I used a scooter to get back-and-forth which made things very easy….and fun!

This was our visit to the town and we fell in love! Just a block away from the USNA as well as lots of fantastic restaurants and shops. The house was perfect! We loved relaxing on the front porch after a long day of shopping and site seeing!

Great location, easy communication with host, we would stay here again. We didn't cook so can't comment on kitchen equipment but house seemed to have all the general amenities one would want.

Great place to stay with your family. Close to everything so you don’t need a car. Lots of entertaining space. Perfect place to wake up and have coffee with your family. We spent a lot of time in the front porch and at the dining room table. Felt like home. The beds are AMAZING! Hosts are very responsive. If I could rate it higher I would. Zero complaints.

Great location - our daughter got married at Governor Calvert House so friends were able to stop by to visit easily.

We really enjoyed staying at The Constellation House which has an excellent location in a historic district about a block from the Naval Academy, several restaurants, city dock and State house. The kitchen, dining room and living room have a very nice layout and we enjoyed a few meals at the house. The kitchen was well equipped with plates, pots and tools. Beds were very comfortable. It was the perfect home base for our Annapolis activities!

This property was perfect for a weekend away. We were close to everything and had everything we needed at the property. Beautifully decorated and super comfortable beds. We would definitely stay again!

Great property that is large and accommodating

The pictures of this charming property did not do it justice. The stay was fantastic - we had a great weekend celebrating my sister's birthday. The location is perfectly located in the heart of activity in Annapolis! We've rented a lot from VRBO over the years and these beds were the most comfortable beds we've ever stayed in outside of our own! Would definitely come bac!

What wonderful accommodations! This house has such historic charm and just one block from The Naval Academy. The house was very clean and absolutely lovely! We had a wonderful stay and will be back again!!

I rented this property as a Christmas gift for my three adult daughters since it was to be our first Christmas without our former family home. Admittedly I sort of "winged it" hoping for the best. I felt like a hero at the end! The home was fantastic and everything I hoped a historic property would be. And the owners' responsiveness and flexibility only made the experience sweeter. I would recommend this property for anyone wanting to get the real Annapolis experience and be close to everything. Thanks James / Meghan!

Fantastic location, fantastic property

Have rented this home many times, love it.

Location very central, home well decorated. Beds comfortable. Kitchen minimally but acceptably furnished (ex mostly melamine & disposable plastic plates/bowls, abt 6 wine glasses total, Keurig but no coffee pods). Dust everywhere, the kind that has been there a long time & stuck to window blinds, walls, molding, toilet paper holders, ledges, etc. No one has opened the blinds and cleaned the window ledges in a very long time, there was black dirt/dust on many ledges downstairs. Coffee or cola spills on walls/molding. Cockroaches in master bathroom, along with mildewed shower curtain. 2nd floor main bath was poorly maintained. Dusty, bath tub’s ceramic finish is very degraded and flaking off & tub’s drain plug did not function. There were bras and underwear in the 2nd bedroom drawers. Ice machine in island & in freezer were broken. Great location, nice home and mostly, it just looks like there is poor oversight with cleaning, general maintenance/repair of appliances and of course the cockroaches. With better efforts there, I’m sure the home could offer a better value & more reassuring stay to future guests.

My husband and grown children were in town for a wedding (originally scheduled for June 2021 but moved to October 2021) The hosts were very accommodating about the date change. There were 5 adults in the house and it was a perfect experience. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms spacious. Everything was as described. The location was ideal. We had a wonderful stay.

This was an awesome place conveniently located near the city dock.

This house was in a great location for our party of four attending a Naval Academy reunion. It is close to USNA and all that Annapolis has to offer. The owners were helpful and answered all our questions. The parking situation wasn't the best (no on street parking and utilizing parking garages), but we knew this when we rented.

We utilized this property for 3 nights while visiting Naval Academy and Annapolis. House is well appointed and clean.

You can't beat the location. Our son went to a sports camp at the Naval Academy, so the house was perfect for stopping by to see him throughout the day. It was so easy to walk around the corner for dinner, ice cream, or the city dock. For a family of 5 (with teens and pre-teen boys), the house was very roomy and comfortable. The only caution is that the house is right next to a restaurant, so the master bedroom was very noisy with the a/c handlers.
