We arranged for a reunion of some high school friends who hadn't seen each other in close to 30 years. Our group has a history of camping together in Allegheny as kids and thought it would be a perfect place to re-connect. Pumpkin Hollow was just what we were needing. We weren't looking for anything extravagant as the fire-pit was our main focus and we used it plenty spending the evenings getting to know each other again. This booking was well, well, worth it and if we decide to do this again we'll definitely be checking on availability.

My fiance and I loved our stay at Mike’s cabin! The creek was peaceful and a great place to dip our toes to cool off. We loved using the gas grill, the fire pit, and awesome outdoor bar.

We arrived Friday May 24th 2024 at around 6:30ish. Has been awhile since I’ve been in New York State. No cell service and it wasn’t until I signed back into VRBO that I received instructions how to get into the cabin. Cabin is absolutely gorgeous. As others commented about the smell of smoke, well yeah, there is a wood stove. I heat my mountain home with wood, smelled of home. We brought our lovely lady along with us, she is 9 years old, she isn’t a fan of the flooring lucky we brought her bed. Suggestion - put a lock on the screen door off the covered deck, would have loved to had both doors opened for a breeze. When we decided to be back in that neck of the woods again, we will be calling to see if the cabin is available. Thank you

3rd visit with in a year. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay with a great host. Perfect place to just kick back and relax. Rain or shine it's the best time.

Gathered here for a nearby Saint Bonaventure graduation event! One night had the whole family over for a barbecue and fire pit get together. It was perfect.

Pumpkin Hollow was a great place for us. The firepit was amazing. The creek was pretty. We enjoyed looking at the beer can collection. The kitchen equipment was ok, nothing special. The shower was hot. The beds were comfortable.
The place is quirky though. If you're looking for something fancy, this is not it. We loved it though.
Michael was great and very easy to get in touch with when we had questions about the jukebox. He's really a great guy.
We'll be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Pumpkin Hollow Inn. The property is stunning! The kids loved playing on the swings and around the creek (even in the snow!!) We got around 4 inches of snow during our stay and the driveway was plowed for us while we were out skiing! Everything we needed was there and readily available. All the comforts of home for a weekend away!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful, relaxing time at the cabin!
It is well kept, very clean and organized!
It rained most of the weekend, but we were warm and comfortable the whole time, as there is a great propane wall unit and a super woodstove!
I started a nice campfire the first evening before it rained.
Then had a fire going in the woodstove almost the whole time. I loved the LED lights throughout! Very cool!
It was super warm and cozy!
We watched several movies as there is huge selection of DVDs and a great variety of TV channels! We also shot cans across the creek with the 2 air rifles provided, and played some darts as well.
Mike and Francis communicated everything perfectly!
We look forward to renting again soon!!!

It’s our second stay at the cottage and we love it here ! Was beautiful to see the leaves changing color ! First night made a big fire and enjoyed the light show ! We ended up having a rainy day and found lots to do inside playing games and watching movies also listening to the juke box ! Our dog Bella loves it being at the cabin too!! Thank you so much again Mike and Francis can’t wait to come back again !

We loved this cabin up against a mountain side with a lovely babbling brook right out the door. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Mike has friendly and prompt to answer any questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming again

Perfect weekend getaway! So relaxing. The stream was amazing; we played in it as a family all weekend. My 9 year old daughter loved the rope swing! Having a fire by the creek at night was magical! The cabin had everything we needed; very well thought out. Mike and Francis were the perfect hosts! If you're looking for a relaxing vacation where you can just spend time together as a family, you're not going to find a better place!

Beautiful! This property has something for everyone... the creek, the jukebox, tunes outside, a light show. WoW! Nobody wanted to leave, especially the dogs, it was heaven on earth for them! thank u!!

This is the best camp 4 wheeler place I’ve ever been to the cabin is sweet the trails go on for ever we had just the best time we even got to sit on the back porch thru a wicked thunderstorm we all can’t wait to rent it out again Believe me if you want a quiet place all set up and ride wheelers this is that place no disappointments Thanks Mike !!!

Took our two German Shepherds for a vacation. They loved the creek. Mike was an excellent communicator and made sure things were fine. We had a motorcycle trailer that was extremely hard to navigate, so be aware.

We loved this little cabin by the creek. It was the perfect little get away at the end of the school year for our teenage son, and his friend. We loved that this cabin welcomes pets and our pup Oakley enjoyed the creek immensely. This unique cabin was just we expected. We loved the campfire area and enjoyed making smores. Everything you could need for cooking on site was there. The light show was also pretty cool! Thank you for a great trip! We hope to come back soon.

This property is amazing, peaceful and quiet. Has everything my wife and I needed for a quiet weekend getaway and so much more. Next visit we will bring some friends as there is plenty of room for another couple and their kids.

Beautiful cabin in a great location. The fire pit next to the creek makes for some great fires. The cabin is very clean and has good amenities. Host is very timely with responses and making sure our stay was great. Was our second guys trip and I'm sure we'll be back for a third!

Spent the weekend for the bfs bday, had a great experience rained half the day on Sat but it didn't matter it was so relaxing and the back porch really covers you to not get wet. Will be back

Had a wonderful time! Cabin was adorable and clean. Had pretty much everything we needed there ready to go. I can't think of anything that wasn't provided down to a lighter and utensils, etc. Loved the stream, fireplace and jukebox. Very quite on a dead-end road. Pups had a great time! Mike was ready if we had questions. All on all a great trip. Gonna stay longer next time!

From Chicago Illinois and Keene New Hampshire we descended on Mike and Francis’s quaint little cottage. We knew it was special after pulling into the property and saw the ‘Bad Boy Island’ sign and heard the stream running just off the deck.
It had all the basics, but goes beyond to provide a wonderful experience for the whole family. We had fun discovering all the little details that are unimaginable in your standard hotel experience.

What a wonderful property nestled in the woods on a quiet Dead End street. The stream ran through the property, beautiful fire pit, with a ton to do. This cabin was just perfect and had all the amenities needed for our family. Although we came in the colder part of NY’s season we would love to return in the spring/summer to enjoy the full outdoor benefits.

The listing is 100 percent accurate, the place was better than we even expected. The stream at night with the crackling fire was great. The inside was clean and hospitable. We will definitely try to come again next year. This place is a gem.

I cannot say enough positive things about the property or the owner. You get exactly what you see in the pics and then some. The property is serene, tranquil and overall impressive. My dog loves to chase leaves in the stream and we love the sound of the water running through. Just close enough to conveniences, restaurants and pet friendly activities yet far enough for true relaxation. The layout of the cabin definitely makes it feel roomy. The open layout of kitchen and living room is perfect. I know we will be back!!! Thanks for have such a wonderful place.

Beautiful time of year to stay. The creek was so relaxing to sit by and also explore around “bad boy island” . My little guy loves walking across the creek and the new swings are perfect addition for both my 15 and 5 year old to enjoy.

We had a great time at the cabin! Mike had great communication with us for checking in and ensuring we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. We were within and 1hr/1.5hr of exciting things to see and do in New York and Pennsylvania! The creek and fire pit were awesome then to come into the cabin was so cozy at night with the wood fire stove keeping us warm. We had a great time, thank you Mike!!!
