What a beautiful home and property. The pictures are exact and the whole process was easy. A wonderful stay with our extended family for UVM graduation. I only wish we had found it 4 years ago!

We had a wonderful time at Duck Blind. The home is beautiful, spacious, and well appointed. It offers amazing views over the bay and feels secluded, while still being accessible to downtown Burlington. Its proximity to Niquette Bay State Park allowed for excellent winter hiking. We hope to return!

The tranquility of DuckBlind is indescribable. Views from every corner, sunsets of multiple colors , glass like lake and the home has everything you need. We were sad our week was up. The owner was so accessible and kind. Hope we can come back next year! Paula and Ed M

Our family loves Duck Blind. Swimming cove is perfect—shallow for Frisbee, deep for laps. Wonderful paddling. Excellent kitchen. Delightful eat-in screened porch. Ian is a gracious and responsive host.

In order to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from UVM, we searched for a special spot which reflected the beautiful Lake Champlain area. Duck Blind was absolutely that perfect spot! The changes in weather and sunsets on Malletts Bay at this location are captivating. The house is located off a very unique and beautiful private drive, sits right out on the water, has it’s own cove, and is very secluded. Accommodations were very clean and modern, and the large Kitchen, Family Room, and Dining Room, constantly direct your attention to the outdoors, of the bay and the Lake Champlain islands. We absolutely spent most of our time outside on the wrap around deck. The house has two levels with each offering a large amount of living space, sleeping areas for extra guests, or large families. We also really enjoyed the fire pit and especially that firewood was provided. Ian is a great host, very responsive and accommodating. We absolutely plan to escape NJ, in the future, to return and experience the different seasons, at Duck Blind.

We were a group of 5 adults with different tastes and this house had something for all of us. The open layout kitchen with fabulous views of the lake through the large French windows was my most favorite thing to wake up to every morning. The house has been setup and maintained very thoughtfully. Everything is placed naturally where you’d expect to be and the cleanliness of the place was immaculate. We didn’t get bored for even a minute in the house. There were 2 TVs, lots of books, board games and even an electronic keyboard synthesizer. Even something like the lack of TV in the living room which we thought initially was an inconvenience, turned out to be a great idea! We were able to spend more time chatting with each other than we would have, had there been a TV in the living room. The internet was fast enough for two of my friends to work simultaneously, since they were working for a couple of days. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would love to go back soon!

Very nice manager that took care of everything for us. Perfectly set up for a family. We enjoyed the stay over Thanksgiving. I am sure summers here are spectacular. Loved the kitchen.

This is the ideal location for lots of fun with family and friends. My husband and I stayed here with our best friends and our son and his girlfriend. It is so close to Burlington and many other great locations e.g. hiking and apple picking. We especially appreciated the kayaks and the indoor fireplaces. We spent many nights sitting on the deck watching the sun set.

The property sits in an extremely beautiful location with water views on three sides. The dock and water amenities were very good. The property was in very good shape and we would definitely rent again.

The house is spare and elegant with walls of windows that bring the outside in. The property is wooded and extremely private. The swimming cove is completely private and idyllic. Many boats to paddle added to the pleasure. The kitchen is well equipped. The host--extremely responsive. We had a magical family gathering.

Had a wonderful family vacation. Our son lives in Burlington with his family, it was easy for him to bring his boat and leave on the dock. Also easy for them to drop off our grandchildren for overnights! Fishing, boating, canoeing, swimming, were all a lot of fun. Ian supplies all you need! Don't bother packing any family board games, the house has it all! Family dinners were perfect in the screened in porch - the kitchen has everything one needs to make a gourmet meal!! Communication with Ian was perfect!! Thank-you for a wonderful family vacation!

What a wonderful place to celebrate our daughters graduation from UVM! Duck blind was a dream for our family. That kitchen is just gorgeous! We didn’t want to leave! Many thanks Ian!!

This property was exactly as advertised! A hidden gem of a property just north of downtown Burlington!

We love our stay. Everything was clean. Enjoy the lake views. Great spot to unwind and relax. Would definitely come again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Duck Blind. The house is very large, clean and comfortable and Ian was a wonderful host, immediately available, responsive and accommodating. The property is in a lovely, remote setting and the sunset views were spectacular. It’s an easy drive to Burlington and lots of nearby state parks. Our teens loved exploring the surrounding area and using the pool table. Exactly what we needed. Hope to come back again to enjoy the lake in warmer weather.

The house was amazing! Open and modern. The wrap around deck provided great views of the lake and the sunset. Enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards even in mid-October. An incredible location - very private. The 3 teenage girls enjoyed the pool table and the karaoke machine.
