We loved our stay here. Our group was 4 adults and 3 kids ages 6-10. We paid the extra fee for the pool to be heated and I strongly recommend it! We also rented a boat during our stay so being on the canal was so convenient. Kitchen and linens were well-stocked. We ended up buying some pool toys for the kids because the property did not have any (no big deal). House had starter paper towels and toilet paper but just enough for a day or 2. We also got laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent and dish soap at the store, so plan on that (not an issue, just sharing for those who want to plan ahead). The loft area was perfect for the kiddos. All the beds were pretty comfortable too. Thanks for a great stay! :)

Great house-awesome location. The pool was so refreshing! The kitchen was loaded with dishes pots and pans- felt like home. Lots of seating.

Location was awesome but a few small issues. Storm stutters on the front of duplex were closed, not sure why, but it would have been nice to look out during sunset. One toilet paper roll in each of the two bathrooms, no spares. We had to get more for ourselves. The duplex was clean and had plenty of cookware and utensils. Pool was great and dock for my boat convenient but having to pay a $100 to store my trailer somewhere else was a hassle. We do love Key Colony as a whole, all the properties are well kept, and you feel very safe. The duplex setup was OK, but we would have preferred a house, had to take what we could get though. All in all, we had a good time and the place worked out for us.

Great place if you bring your boat down and having the pool was great for the kids to hop in after being in the boat all day! Great location.

We had the best time. Convenient location, great canal, clean home, great service. The ONLY issue we had was with the trash company (but that had nothing to do with the property or the property management). We were very happy with our choice. Katie is wonderful as well!

We enjoyed staying here - it was very roomy and the pool was perfect. The house had everything we needed from kitchen necessities to blankets and lots of seating options around the pool and patio. We will be back.

Had a very relaxing time…really enjoyed the pool. Kitchen was well stocked, with everything we needed. My husband suggested that the grill burner needs to be replaced.

The house is great with all the amenities you can think of. We really enjoyed our stay. The one thing to clarify with the property manager before your visit is whether or not you want the pool heated. We did, and didn’t realize there was an extra cost to have it heated. They were quick to respond and we were happy to pay the extra (it was nice to have a heated pool at night), but it should be more clear up front in the details of the property.

Had a great week. Ideal location for access to the Ocean and Gulf. Five minutes or less by boat to the both. Boat dock fits one boat up to about 35’. Afternoon shade at pool is very nice after a long day on the water. Good vehicle parking, private and well equipped property. RegnierRE.com

We had a great time at this house in Key Colony Beach! Check-in went smoothly, house was clean, and very cute decor! We have finally found a place to enjoy the rainy days in the keys since we were able to just spend time at the house or in the pool. Overall, great place to stay in Marathon!

Property was exactly as described. Rooms were clean and kitchen well stocked with amenities. Air Conditioner worked well even with the heat and humidity of the Keys. Will definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay. House is set up perfect for 2 couples with kids. The upstairs loft was perfect for the kids to be out of the adults hair but still keep a ear on them. Pool was great but having the boat is what you go to the keys for. Dock was adequate but keeping the trailer off site was new to us. Key Colony raised the rate for trailer storage the week before we got there to $100 so the listing needs to be updated. All in all, we loved the house and would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional property with everything you could need during your stay. Great blender. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of space in the family room and kitchen. Wonderful refreshing pool with table and chairs and grill at your finger tips. Bait freezer which is much needed. Easy tie up to dock located near the mouth of the sound. Absolutely perfect location

We had 4 adults and 3 kids ages 9, 11 & 13. The space indoors & out was perfect for all of us. We seen a manatee, fish & lobster in the canal. The boys loved it ALL! I did forget to tell manager that the toaster does not work. The queen bed is very firm for those who like that. King is soft & comfy. Loved the master shower (2 shower heads). Great location for everything. We will be booking again in the future. Note: would be great if there were a few beach chairs that could be used for the beach or access to the Cabana Club!

My friends and I stayed in the house and it was more than we had hoped for! Everything was super clean and they have anything you could possible need. The pool is right off the dock which makes it amazing. Rooms are very dark but I like that in my opinion after being in the sun all day. Overall would 100% stay here again!

Very nice little home with beautiful decor and very well stocked with everything we needed. Had a small issue with the pool pump and contacted the property manager who sent someone out to solve it very quickly. No complaints and would definitely book here again in the future.

We really enjoyed our time at this property. It is perfect for renting a boat because you can keep it right at the house and you have quick access to both the Atlantic and Gulf sides of the island. The house itself is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need.

She responded very promptly however the opening/removal proved to be more difficult. This resulted in the property Mgr having to contact a professional service provider to come out. Unfortunately our stay ended prior having the bedroom window shutters open/removed. All in all we had a great stay!

Great spot for adults and kids. We enjoyed everything. Pool, deck, location, beach, farmer market, walking. House is beautiful. Some household items need maintenance attention. Also, no beach towels.

We had the most wonderful time on our vacation. Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect! We loved the location on the water and on land. The house had everything we needed and more. The pool was so beautiful and relaxing. We can’t wait to stay again soon! Thank you!

The property manager, Katie, was awesome and quick to respond to my questions. The bedrooms are a good size, the kitchen and living room space is good and bathrooms are in good condition. The master bath shower is nicer than the other bathroom but nothing bad to say about either. The only thing missing was a bathroom downstairs or an outdoor shower downstairs with hot water. Overall the house is comfortable and has new owners as of this year. The decor is more on the side of tacky but not a big deal. The sectional sofa was comfortable and large but the two small recliners could be replaced. The master bed is very soft so if you like a soft mattress you will love this one. The mattresses on the trundles are firmer and the 2nd bedroom mattress is in between. The floor in the main living space is out dated but nothing wrong with it. It’s nice that they have a deep freeze downstairs for all the fish and lobsters!

We had 4 adults and 3 children, and the house accommodated us perfectly. The loft was great for the kids! The a/c was fantastic and the air was well-circulated in the loft. I've stayed in houses in the Keys where the a/c was a significant challenge, but not at this house. The pool was great too! The house was very well stocked with everything that we needed. There is plenty of space in the house...good layout. Plenty of parking as well. The only "issue" that we had, which is minor and I knew about this ahead of time (mentioned in the listing), is that you have to park your boat trailer at a satellite KCB location since the owner keeps his/her boat on the property on a trailer. KCB will only allow one trailer on the property. If we choose KCB for our next Keys trip, I will stay here again...unless it's booked!

Our extended family had a great time. Easy access to fishing and snorkeling. Kids loved the pool! Well equipped kitchen and grill. Rental agent very helpful.
