Great stay.

Checked in Friday late afternoon and left Sunday morning. The bed was very comfortable and I'm told the futon was comfy to sleep on. The entire place is nice and I enjoyed the view out the windows. Parking is close and not having to walk any stairs was handy. I thought the price was reasonable. It had a country feel to it while being close to town. I would like to come back when I can stay longer since we were gone all day Saturday.

The quiet setting and immaculate cabin was just right for me. There were several thoughtful touches as well.

Beautiful area. Huge bedroom and bathroom. Clean and relaxing. The neighbors above us were a fun couple, very quiet.

Thank you for letting us come a day early on such short notice. We really appreciate that. Your place is cozy, well appointed, and in a wonderful location. We were there during a big snowfall and the wooded setting was gorgeous. It worked very well for us. We were there 3 nights and the first night we didn’t here anyone in the unit above us even though a car was parked in the driveway. We met the gentleman staying there as we shoveled the driveway together the next day. The next morning he got up about 5:30am to get ready for work and I was awakened by his walking in shoes on the floor above. The third night we stayed, a different group was upstairs and normal conversation could be heard all evening. They were not excessively loud, but definitely could be heard. It was distracting. We would definitely stay again but would rent the upstairs instead.

Lovely view of wooded area across the lightly traveled road. Simple to get to downtown Duluth and easy access to highways north and south. We even saw roses in October at Leif Erickson Park and the great fall colors at Hawk Ridge without any long drives.

Everything was very comfortable, slept well!! Taught a virtual mozzarella class and upload was good for that. Had everything we needed to help up teach the two cheese events at Vikre.

Location of property was perfect for all Duluth Activities. Neighborhood neighborhood very quiet. Plenty of space and comfort spaces. The sound quality to the upstairs unit was an issue when the 5 fishermen got up at 4:00 AM to get ready to leave. Otherwise excellent location and I will stay again.

The apartment is quiet and clean and roomy. We stopped here for 2 nights with our teenage son as we enjoyed the Duluth area.

Clean. Spacious. Cozy. Love the large windows. It was just my husband and I and we had plenty of space. I would say it's a perfect place for two. We did have neighbors upstairs but their walking around didn't bother us. The only thing we would request is ice cube trays. We just wanted a few cubes for our waters/drinks. Otherwise everything was wonderful. They even had Kleenexes. I realize that's a little thing but so very few places provide them. Thank you! Would stay here again!

We both loved the location of this property, it was private yet close enough to everything we needed, we will definitely stay at this property again given the chance. It felt like a cabin inside of it. Thank you Kelly and Brian for making our stay a wonderful experience:)

It was just the right amount of space for a couple. We would suggest a different table and chairs in the kitchen area. As an older couple they did not work the best. Otherwise the bed, bathroom and all the other items were fantastic.

Arrived to a filthy stove. Spent over an hour trying to clean off the broiling pan so we could cook our steaks. Owner said cleaning was on a schedule (which we apparently missed, wasn't communicated). Wrecked the only sponge with the greasy grime, so asked for a new one to use during our stay. Owner promised to have cleaning staff deliver by noon the next day. They came into the kitchen WITHOUT even knocking or anything, where my wife was cooking bacon in her nightshirt! Wow! We are normally pretty easy going but my wife didn't sleep well for 2 nights, barricaded the doors with pans and chairs, etc. We had no confidence in their stated Covid cleaning protocols. Seriously doubt the sheets were even changed. Bring your own wipes, clorox, and sponges!

This place was perfect. It was a few minutes drive from Duluth proper yet being remote enough for privacy. There appears to be an upstairs unit that was also a rental. It was a cool day when we arrive, but after a few minute with the electric fireplace on the place was rather cozy and comfortable. Our kid loved the futon and slept great on it for the two nights that we were there. The master bed room is huge as well as the closet and bathroom. The stove was a smaller model so I hope no one is planning on doing any major cooking while staying there. For our purposes it was more than enough for the food we brought. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks for the stay.

This was an ideal inexpensive 3 day 2 night getaway. Good location- Great place. Clean- neat- ample space. My only issue was a high top table and stools. I have mobility issues. Otherwise A++. Great communication with owner.

The seating in the living room could be a little more comfortable for watching TV in the evening. Maybe the chair from the bedroom in there? Everything else was great! An easy drive into Duluth. Everything was neat & clean & the bathroom being just off the bedroom was very nice. The place was roomy sucluded & quiet! I recommend this place.
