Property was very nice. Plenty of room for family get together. Very convenient for walking to local shops and restaurants. Only drawback was the 3 story stair climb to and from beach. Difficult for seniors with bad knees and other physical ailments.

The house was the perfect size for my family and my sisters family, allowing both of us a king size room and the kids sharing queens and bunk beds. Location to the ocean was incredible. My only complaint would be check in - we were told 5:00, however the home was not inspected and unlocked for us until 6:00 PM. After driving with small kids, waiting in the driveway for 45 minutes was frustrating. Also - we had to call to get the pool cleaned, which didn’t happen until Wednesday of our trip. Thanks for a wonderful week at a beautiful home and beach!

Super easy walk to town as well. We love this gated community, it was our 3rd time renting in Waters Edge. My only complaint would be that the kids rooms are all downstairs and the front door does not have a deadbolt on it or a lock at all inside. It only auto locks from the outside. We were concerned with the kids walking out the door.

The property is a great location. Dead in the middle of seacreast and rosemary. Walkable to everything but the bikes work too if you wanna get there in 2 minutes instead of 4. The neighborhood is nice and quiet- beach access is close/ quick/easy. ( take you blue bands to access the beach door).Chairs set up for you promptly at 9am( yours all day til 5pm). Sand is clean, cool and the water is clear. Now the " not so good"...the kitchen sink has a garbage disposal, but no switch. So the sink backs up when using water and from what i can tell, is storing every stray food item that has been washed down the sink since it was built. Gross. The bunk room is super cute and my kids loved it; but, i wouldn't let them sleep there because the mattresses smell like pee. I get that kids sleep there, but be smart, use rubber under sheets. The living room " slip cover " type couches are white and never get cleaned. You can tell. Same for the decorative pillows and bed comforters. Towels and sheets were clean. You can't wash large items in the washer as it is a stackable unit)The house is 20 years old (like the neighborhood) and i get that its not gonna be " new" as it's a rental. But in my opinion, it's due for a "once over". Wood floors worn out, rust showing on windows and decking. Pool heat is non existent. Great location, house needs a freshen up,

We’re frequent VRBO travelers, and we always look for a property that fits our family and/or whoever’s traveling with us. This time we had eight adult family members and two children. This is a lovely & very comfortable property, & it fit us perfectly. Everyone enjoyed the space, the furnishings, and all the amenities. We especially loved having the pool, but also being a five minute walk from the beautiful beach. We used both extensively. Having bikes and also being within walking distance of shopping and restaurants made everything perfect. I would also like to complement the property management staff. This was our first trip to this area and this property, so we had lots of questions. They were always available & provided immediate & excellent customer service. We thank them and can’t wait to return this property again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home. The proximity to the beach and the shops of Rosemary is perfect. The house was clean and the AC worked very well which is a must in FL summer. Great place for families. It has a lot of stairs and the kitchen is on second floor, so just something to keep in mind for some who aren’t as mobile! The pool was a bit dirty when we arrived but on the second day it was cleaned without us asking which was nice! We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay here!! It was close to the beach and very walkable to the shops and restaurants. The house was the perfect size for our large group. The pool alarm was rather annoying if you forgot to press the button when opening the outside door. I totally understand that's a safety precaution, but for a weekend with all adults -- it was rather loud! :) It did not ruin our stay at all, but it was our only "complaint".

We had the best time staying at Edge of the Sea! This was our second time to the Water's Edge community and we love everything about the location. We won't stay anywhere else! The home itself was absolutely lovely. The layout was great with the two queen rooms and the twin bunk room downstairs. My grandmother and children were very comfortable. The second floor has the kitchen and den area, and while at first we thought that strange, the views more than make up for it! It was so nice to eat and play games on the balcony with the ocean right there. The two king rooms (on the second and third floors) were very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of living and closet space. The private pool was well maintained and perfect for our crew, and you are literally steps from the private beach access. Chair setup was well done and worth every penny. We also rented kids bikes to go with our adult bikes and rode all over town - so fun. The internet was pretty patchy on the first and third floors which made working and TV watching difficult, but not the end of the world. The washer and dryer could definitely be updated. It was a very small stackable unit and quite loud when running. We did loads of laundry every day - but again, not the worst thing! I definitely want to compliment the owners and management company for a couple of small things. When we first booked the unit it was considered pet friendly, which was a requirement for us as my parents were traveling with a small elderly dog. At some point after booking the unit was no longer labeled pet friendly. When I inquired, I was told our pet may no longer be allowed - which would have been hugely problematic. I was, truthfully, prepared to be very disappointed. But within minutes of my initial inquiry, I was told the owners would honor that our property was pet friendly when we booked. We payed the deposit and had no further issues. In a season where dozens of families were being canceled on for better rates - I was extremely thankful to the owners for doing the right thing. We would rebook on that alone! Additionally, one night we had a pool alarm battery situation, but were able to quickly get in touch with the Royal Destination emergency on call and remedy the problem. They were very kind, helpful and quick! Very appreciated! Finally, RD was very helpful in finding fun things to do for the 4th of July! Quality, friendly service. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We were unhappy with the sleeping arrangements. We had 5 women who did not plan on sharing beds. Without the sleeper sofa, one was forced to sleep on the living room sofa. The bunk beds are child sized. You turn your body sideways to get in and out of bed and hit your head if you sit up. These beds are not twin. The queen bedrooms on the first floor share a bath- it is incorrect in the description. The description of the home is a sleeper sofa in the 3rd floor master bedroom – there is not one – there are now 2 chairs . The description is incorrect, and based on the bedding in place, we would not have rented this home.

We paid for heat and it didn’t work one day - they had to come fix it. TV wire was hanging from the wall and coming out of the wall. Not safe for small children but we didn’t have any so it was easy to avoid. Railing at top of stairs was loose. I honestly could get past all of this. The worst part, however, was the security guard hired by the HOA (not by Royal Destinations). Literally screamed at kids two hours into our stay. Attempted to kick our own kids off the property and I had to ensure some other kids were protected from him as he attempted to do the same. He Refused to show ID. Several families complained, as the pool chair company referenced that many families were asking who he was. This was not a one night thing. Did it three times. HOA and Royal destinations need to figure this out. We don’t pay this amount to be treated like this on vacation. He was wrong by telling us we had to have wrist bands on to be on property. We only needed them on the beach.
