Location

At 11.30 on the Saturday evening we got a knock on the door. Stupidly I opened the door to find the owner stood there asking if everything was ok. Bewildered I said yes. he then went on to say he needed us to get out of the apartment the next day. His excuse was the air con wasn’t working. That wasn’t the case it was fine. i felt extremely intimidated and I called for my partner to help calm myself. He offered us his apartment for the move. We felt like we had no choice. We packed up the next morning but I felt something wasn’t right. Another man turned up with 5 cleaning ladies & immediately started to clean. They weren’t there to repair the air con!!! We didn’t give the key back straight away we went to the other apartment only to find there was a man in there still using it. We didn’t enter. By this time I was very upset. We said we weren’t moving under any circumstances and went back to our original apartment and asked the people to leave. I was now scared being in a foreign country and couldn’t settle incase another incident happened. Im a mature lady and was there to visit my son and for the Grand Prix. I believe they wanted the apartment for other people. Thank god we didn’t give our key up as this situation could have ended very differently.
