I absolutely loved this perfect cottage. Everything was so clean and updated and comfortable. It is on a beautiful street close to downtown. We went in July and it was too hot to walk to downtown. But, in the spring or fall you could easily walk the three blocks to downtown. I can't wait to stay there again.

What a beautiful property with the perfect location in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown! Don’t hesitate to book this property. The host was wonderful at communicating & put a lot of thought into creating this perfect getaway place! This property had beautiful decor, comfy beds, little extras (bottle waters, k cups, chocolates..) extra towels & linens, & great the host was amazing! We hope to come back again!

We nook my Mother in law on a short outing for her 87th birthday. This place was amazing and wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful place well stocked the hostess was amazing and Thomasville did not disappoint. I would recommend this home 100 percent.

The home was in a great location, with plenty of family friendly board games to keep kids engaged during breaks in the day. We loved being walking distance from downtown and multiple playgrounds. The porch and patio were perfect for the minutes between putting kids to bed and them actually going to sleep. It truly felt like home.

Nice house on quite historic street. Served our needs well while in Thomasville for a wedding.

Cute little house was perfect for our small group. Very clean, great neighborhood. The extra little amenities, chocolates, snacks and popcorn were a nice touch after a long drive.

This home was perfect for what we needed. We were in town for a wedding and this location was just what we needed. It’s so close to the downtown area, where they had coffee, shopping, restaurants, and few places for drinks. The house was clean and we loved the small and historic town feel. We loved this spot and would highly recommend!

Wonderful stay. All shops and restaurants Thomasville has to offer within walking distance. Relaxing vacation in a beautiful town! House was perfect for a small family.

Our second time in Quail Cottage was just as good as the first. Lovely neighborhood, walking distance to downtown and pet friendly - couldn't ask for a better stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lauren's sweet home! It's a great location - walkable to downtown - and she's provided every detail to make guests welcome. House and property are exactly as pictured. We loved our stay so much that we booked again. Thank you!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, amenities (washer/dryer, device charge station, plenty of towels, comfortable beds, extra blankets, outdoor space etc). Suggestions: Outdoor furniture was comfortable, but it could use a shed/storage box for the cushions. They are easily stained by rain/droppings from trees. I can understand why some people would not want to sit on them without a good cleaning.

Weekend getaway with my 2 daughters. Property was very clean, comfortable, close to numerous restaurants and shopping. Neighborhood felt very safe. We walked to/from town from our rental. We also visited Pebble Hill Plantation. It was gorgeous! I would definitely recommend our rental and Thomasville.

Our stay at The Quail Cottage was great! It is a quaint two bedroom with all the necessities. It is a great alternative to a hotel, and allowed our teen to have her own room. It is nice to wake up, make coffee, watch a little TV and not worry about disturbing the others in your party. It was nice that a few bottles of water were provided, some coffee, a few snack, shampoo/conditioner, and soap. Communication with the owner was great as well. My only suggestion would be a few extra blankets for the beds in winter so the heat doesn’t have to be turned up. Great stay though, and we will likely be back and will definitely recommend to others.

Great property!

We had an exceptional time staying in this 100+ year old cottage! It is cute, decorated nicely, and was very comfortable. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Short walk in to town to the many shops, restaurants and other attractions. Nice back yard area. Rained one day so we enjoyed the swing on covered front porch. Great communication with Lauren. Seems she has thought of everything. Easy. Parking was never an issue. Had all we needed and more. Would definitely stay hear again if in the area and property is available. Thank you, thank you

My husband, my mom and I stayed with our dog to visit my son that was doing a PA rotation. The house was perfect. The neighborhood was beautiful. We were blocks from downtown. Our stay was wonderful.

The house was exactly as described and was in a super cute town. The backyard was an awesome hang out spot too!

Beds were comfy. Looks of supplies to make stay comfort. Cute neighborhood within walking distance to town.

We had an amazing time at the Quail Cottage! Lauren was a wonderful host and great to communicate. She always responded quickly and had so many recommendations for places to checkout in downtown Thomasville (Empire Bagels and AJ Moonspin). The neighborhood is lovely and enjoyed evening walks, dinner in the back yard underneath the Edison lights, and FSU football (only 45 minutes away from the university).

We went a little out of our way on a drive to Florida to check out Thomasville and Lauren's place was a delightful way to do it! The location is perfect and the house is super cute. And we so appreciate the dog friendly aspect!

The house was very comfortable and had thoughtful amenities... kitchen well-stocked with all utensils needed, waters in fridge, Keurig coffee maker came with a selection of coffees and there was even popcorn. Enjoyable stay in a beautiful, walkable historic neighborhood!

Excellent location, everything is 15 min. away, quiet neighborhood, house amenities and host are as advertised, we would stay here again.

This cute bungalow is a short walk from downtown Thomasville in a beautiful neighborhood of historic homes. Great location for a getaway to this charming town!

This was the most charming restored home in the historic section of Thomasville. Fantastic location, walking distance from downtown Thomasville. Perfect if you are traveling with a dog. Beautiful historic neighborhood to walk your dog or just take a stroll yourself. The host, Lauren, was amazing! Extremely responsive, communicative and helpful. She really thought of everything when designing this home. The beds are dreamily comfortable too, which is key to a wonderful stay! Her restaurant recs were on point! Southern Living just dubbed this town the most welcoming. I couldn’t agree more! The shop and restaurant people were all incredibly kind. Don’t hesitate to rent Lauren’s home. It was great as a single but would also work well for a family of 4 or a perfect for a girls weekend, or couples getaway. Side note: Do not miss the Bookshelf bookstore in town….precious. Jonah’s Fish and Grits and Sweet Caoco were awesome!
