Overall, the property was great! The location is wonderful as the river is right behind the condo and you are close to historical Bigfork. The only item we would mention is that there were not many "essentials" in the condo. There were 4 adults staying in the condo for 5 nights. However, we were left with mostly empty Kleenex boxes (rough for allergy season), a partial roll of TP (we eventually did find where the other one was left), one extra garbage bag, no toilet plunger, and no spices except for salt and pepper. Also, the owners may want to consider replacing the hide-a-bed as our son and daughter-in-law found it very uncomfortable to sleep on. These are minor items though. Overall, I would recommend the condo and would stay there again.

We had such a wonderful stay and the location was perfect in the heart of little town Bigfork. The balcony was large and it was incredible to have the Wild Mile raging Swan River right out back to watch the kayak races over Memorial weekend. LOVED IT!

I brought my elderly mother for some R&R and loved sitting on the deck listening to the river rush by. The place was clean came with all the amenities of home. Perfect location for downtown shopping and eating. Just a couple things to improve; the mattress on the pull out sofa is very uncomfortable, and the lock on the street door was difficult to unlock.

We enjoyed our stay especially the location and the sound of the river.

Great location, a block off the Main Street and from the rear deck of the property, overlooking the Swan River. Well appointed and comfortable. Bedroom separated from the main room by a curtain, no door, which is fine if it’s just 2 people staying. Tight space in bedroom. The deck is awesome. Wonderful town, lots of activities nearby.

This place was perfect for a few days in July! The back patio is private, serene, and you can't hear any noise from the town which is right out the front door. The sound of the stream was so lovely, and we spent out mornings drinking coffee on that back porch. The weather was very hot during our stay and the Air Conditioning really won the day for us at this place. The space was clean, spacious and private. It was a walk away from the delights of downtown Bigfork, and still felt relaxing and serene. Thanks!

Cute decor, great location just needs new carpet and an easier way to contact manager, getting in and out was not easy

If your on first floor the noise is annoying from condo above. Also music and bars close by to hear music.

Very nice roomy condo with large deck. Had everything we needed and right behind all the shops of downtown Bigfork. Loved it!

Our family loved our stay in Big Fork it was such a wonderful town. Our VRBO was so nice what a perfect base camp to go many fun things near by. Our VRBO was very nice , clean, decorated, and fully equipped. Our family of four and dog loved it. I thought the live music was a hoot and the garden bar was a real gem.

The space was very clean and nicely decorated. The view and sound of the river from the deck was spectacular! Perfect location!!! Only drawback was the sound of the people walking in the unit above us. If it wasn't for that, we would have given a 5 star rating!

River behind the property and back deck is the best feature!! Amazing listening to the river while sleeping!

Well appointed condo in beautiful location on Swan River. We were here in the fall and the autumn colors were breathtaking. Short walk to historic downtown Bigfork for fun shopping. Another short walk to an out and back walking path (4 miles round trip) that parallels the Swan River too.

In the middle of the little town of Bigfork...the back deck over looks the river and flathead lake is 75 yards away....very nice condo.

This place is right on Swan River and has a huge deck with lounge chairs, a dining table, and a gas grill. It it so private and peaceful out there and yet it is 1 block off of Electric Ave. and from the Bigfork Summer Playhouse! The unit is lovely and has a full size ( maybe it's a queen) pull out bed that we utilized too. We want to go back because it was so perfect for us!

clean, cozy, and the back deck/river is the main attraction. Peter and Tana are very friendly and helpful, but not at all intrusive. Denise, the property manager, is great and very attentive. only drawbacks are not having a door on the bedroom, limited air flow in the bedroom, and being a downstairs unit with people above. Would definitely recommend this unit!

My wife and I stayed at the Bearisters Den in Big Fork (this is my second time here!) on a longer road trip/honeymoon before we went backpacking in Glacier National Park. The condo is fantastic, well appointed and incredibly comfortable. It has everything you'd need for staying in & cooking (we caught our own fish and cleaned & cooked them in the house) or, if you prefer going out - all of Big Fork is out your door and nothing is more than a ten minute drive. The deck is fantastic, with the river out back rushing along, deer poking in and out, and (so we were told) even larger wildlife visible right from the comfort of your living room every once in a while. Peter & Tana were incredibly responsive and happy to provide suggestions if we had any questions - I wouldn't hesitate to stay here anytime I'm in the area and hope to be so again soon.

The condo was an excellent location to stay for my wife, our mini schnauzer, and me. We had five great nights there. We also had a chance to meet the owners' s and they are great people. The condo is in a great location and the views of the Swan River are great. Everything about the condo exceeded our expectations. We hate to leave due to our great experience. Denise was wonderful to work with. We would highly recommend this location for a great experience.

This condo was an excellent place to stay for my family who spent our days traveling to and from Glacier National Park. It was a real treat to come back every day to the comfort of a bed and have access to both a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. I would recommend this rental to anyone thinking about it. Its absolutely perfect!

Although I live in Bigfork, I spent a lot of time at the condo, visiting relatives staying here. My favorite thing to do was to sit on the deck overlooking the Swan River, visiting and watching people on kayaks navigate the river. We walked from the condo around town exploring all that Bigfork has to offer with fine dining, live theatre and wonderful shops and art galleries. My relatives loved staying at the condo, it was very comfortable for them. It's very tastefully decorated and even has books and magazines for reading. A perfect home away from home!

I wish we could stay here longer! Condo is a mix of Italian palazzo and craftsman style. Large wood deck overlooks a raging river of mountain runoff. Bed is comfortable, kitchen has a few basic supplies, and washer/dryer is a bonus. TV is very small to watch from couch, but the picturesque scenery is what this is all about. Located in a professional building housing a lawyer, natural oil mfg, and counselors, it was a little hard to find. But the reward! 'Brookies Cookies" is located at the end of the building. Best choc. chip cookies ever! We drove 45 minutes into West Glacier for a daytrip. Best to go in late June or later - Road to Sun was only open first 16 miles - not to the summit. This condo provided us the best vacation rental experience we have ever had. Friendly folks with whom to work, very clean condo and awesome scenery. It's the best!

We visited Bigfork over Labor Day weekend and stayed in this adorable condo. The location was perfect- walked to nearby restaurants, shops, etc. The condo is clean, comfortable, and just perfect! We loved sitting outside on the deck daily, overlooking the running river. The condo was equiped with everything you might need during your stay, including a queen size bed and a pull out sofa sleeper. We will definitely return again next year!

I stayed in the unit for about a week in August 2013 and had a great time. On one hand I was in the middle of town being close to restaurants, coffee shops, and downtown events. On the other, from the back porch being right on the Swan River, you felt as if you had a private getaway all on your own. The unit has a very nice kitchen stocked with everything you might need and is well maintained and decorated as one would expect a Montana residence would be. The living room is a great meeting place and the bedroom is quiet and comfortable. The location is wonderful. From walking to the lake to hiking along the river to simply walking across the parking lot to get the best burger in town, this condo was very convenient to everything I wanted to do. It's one of those places that you ask yourself after arriving "why don't I do this more often". I've always had a wonderful time there and many good memories to boot. I'll definately be back! CRW

Wonderful relaxing place to stay. Very clean and comfortable with sound of running river made this a great place to spend a few days on the way to see Glacier National Park. My husband had two great days of fishing the Flathead River also. Would recommend this location. Nice to enjoy being able to grill your dinner on the back deck.
