Our stay was great! The Host and the lady that cleans the place are great and accommodating.

We are a family of four, 2 adults and 2 kids. Stayed here for 4days/3nights on a Spring break. First off, this property is not “Newly updated” as the listing implies. It has clearly deteriorated over the years and is in dire need of a deep cleaning. There were dust everywhere, even on the doors where the towel bars were. I had to wipe them off to hang my kids’ towels. When we arrived at 4pm for check-in, the cleaning lady was still there, and informed us that her helpers did not show up so she was delayed. This poor elderly lady was clearly inept to clean a whole condo all by herself but she gave it her best. The living / kitchen area is very tight, I would not recommend for any groups more than 4. To make matters worse, there were contractors hanging off ladders over the balcony, starting every morning around 7:30am and throughout the day. Pros: Ocean front, beach chairs and umbrellas.

The location and access to the beach were perfect. The condo is definitely a full time rental - as the listing states, bring your own linens, TP, paper towels, etc. We did find dryer sheets and paper towels left over from the last renters, but did bring our own. We rented linens and did not receive the right sized sheets for one of the beds. The company fixed it and refunded me, but it was the next day. I wish I had known that: 1. There was construction planned for the building during our stay. The owners knew and refunded less than half of one night's stay for 2 days of construction, but I will ask for future Vrbo rentals if the building is under construction. 2. Off season and on a holiday weekend, there is only one restaurant open on the island. We ate at Ocean Isle Fish Company 3 nights in a row. 3. There is one ChargePoint electric car charger on the island that requires about 8 hours to fully charge. Overall, the location and beach access made it a great weekend, but there were some downsides to the condo and the island.

We enjoyed our stay overall but the listing on VRBO should read… bring your own paper products such as TP, paper towels, Kleenex, garbage bags in addition to sheets, pillow cases, towels. We found out after we were fully booked through a message by the host. Good thing we didn’t fly. Great location next to the beach. Not newly remodeled just some newer decorative items.

Much larger than I expected. Was a quiet, great location, well-furnished, clean condo. Excellent clear direction and instructions. Would recommend to family and friends. My only issue is that the numbers/alphabets on the outside are not large enough for old folks.

West end of OIB is quiet and peaceful. Unit has a great floor plan with both bedrooms having their own connecting bathrooms. Can't beat the view of the ocean from the balcony. Would recommend to others.

We had a pretty good stay. We did find a couple of roaches in the bathrooms and the condo was very dusty.

It’s a great place but, money needs to be put in this unit.

Nice condo on the beach. Has everything we needed

This unit had everything you need and the view is wonderful. The unit is nice - comfortable beds, furniture, etc. but the overall property is dated and not well maintained. Never saw anyone provide any daily upkeep of the common areas. The decking around the pool has screws sticking up everywhere so be sure to wear flip flops. The pool itself is very nice. The elevator is downright scary and filthy. The owner was very responsive as we did have one issue that was taken care up promptly. So overall it was good but we’ve definitely stayed in nicer properties for the $200/night price. The owner really should demand more from the property management company. It’s the overall facility that’s keeping this unit from being fabulous.

The property was just as indicated. It was clean and comfortable. We loved the location and access to the beach and parking. We will definitely stay again!

We had a great weekend in this condo. It was super clean, the beds were very comfortable and the condo was well stocked. The view from the balcony was the best thing!

Great property with probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a rental. We had no issues w the checkin or check out process. Plenty of parking definitely and would stay here again!

We enjoyed and were very comfortable in this nicely decorated condo. All the amenities are there and communication with owner was very responsive. Highly recommend and would return again.

The condo was very clean and comfortable. Great location with a wonderful view of the beach. We appreciated the ability to park under the building which kept our cool. We would definitely rent this unit again.

OIB was an awesome family beach to come to as I came every summer with mine growing up so I wanted my wife & kids to experience what I did coming here. The condo was awesome & very accurate with the listing. Communication with the owner was perfect. Will definitely come back again...wife & I are already trying to make plans for next summer!!

Yhe condo is very comfortable,For two people, might be tight for 4 adults, especially the living room area, photos are accurate.

The condo was perfect for a weekend getaway. Very clean, which is so important during Covid. The location was great and very close to the beach. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven with us!

This condo was amazing! It was beautiful, and well laid out. It was right on the beach, as pictured, and we loved sitting out on the porch. It was also very close to the pool, which was awesome. Parking was good, the elevator was super nice when we were carrying tons of stuff and just didn't feel like taking the stairs. The beds were comfy and they had nice pillows, too. The couches were also comfy, and there was plenty of room for us to spread out.Since it was just the two of us, we probably would have slept in the room with 2 beds had we realized the layout. The room with the King size bed is right by the door, and it's kind of separate from the rest of the condo. This would probably be very nice if you had kids along with you.The owner was very kind, and super responsive during the entire process.

It was our first time staying in Ocean Isle and we enjoyed it very much! We had beautiful weather and the beach was very relaxing! The owners were quick to respond with any questions we had before our trip as well. The only issue we had during our stay, was the condo wasn’t very clean upon arrival. There was old food on and under the couches and we had to end up cleaning/vacuuming due to ants inside the condo. I emailed the owners after our trip about the cleanliness of the condo and possibly talking to their cleaning person about it, and I never heard anything back. Other than that, we had a great experience and enjoyed spending time with family.

Nicely decorated. Perfect for a family of 4. Location was best on the beach. And it was so nice that the owners left chairs and beach things there to use. They made everything easy and it was a lovely reno that they completed. Will definitely stay again!

Very nice property - just as depicted in the photo. That’s the closest you can get to the beach. Enjoyed my stay. Will be back!
