Access to the American River or just sit on the deck and listen to the upstream rapids, geese flying in or watch and listen to the rafters as they have great fun rafting the river. Wonderful amenities and just minutes to Coloma and Placerville to delve into gold rush history.

Our daughter was getting married and it was a nice area to stay close to venue.

We (grandpa, grandma, daughters (2), sonsinlaw (2), 3 yr old grandsons (2)) stayed here in mid December. The property is gorgeous with extensive riverfront and is well developed throughout. We were attending an annual family event and will definitely stay here next year.

Property was as described, spacious and clean. Easy to get down to the river from the house. A few close by beaches if you want easier access. 1 mile out from pizza, tacos and amazing pastries. Was a great little weekend away!

We had an incredible time at a wonderful property. The house is spacious and nice, the property is gorgeous, and you are right on the river. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. Everything was perfect, highly recommend.

This is a beautiful home in a wonderful location. We stayed there for my daughter’s wedding and it was perfect location. The host was wonderful and was very great in her communication with me. I would definitely stay there again!

Perfect house above the river
Great house and location. The kitchen was the most equipped we have ever seen. Living spaces were huge, master bedroom was isolated away from the living area and very quiet. In the morning we could open all the windows and sliding glass doors to the deck which was a perfect place to drink coffee, watch the deer, and enjoy the view.

A Hideaway Gem
We booked this property to be near the wedding venue at Bayley's Barn in Pilot Hill. It was everything it promised to be. We lingered on the veranda in the mornings with coffee and in the evenings with Prosecco. The only unfortunate part was that the roll down shades were broken and we had to hand wash all the dishes, cutlery, and glassware before using. Otherwise everything was great!

Mixed Review
This is a lovely home and mostly very clean.
Our big issue was the oven and stove. We couldn’t use the oven because it smoked so badly…we ultimately figured out the cleaning cycle and cleaned it ourselves. The stove top was quite greasy and required cleaning before we used it.
The host was very pleasant, but difficult to get hold of and did not help resolve the cleaning issues.

This house is AMAZING!
We stayed here with friends that we hadn’t seen since before COVID, and this house was the PERFECT setting for our reunion! The house has everything you could possibly need - to say the kitchen is fully stocked is an understatement. The rooms are cozy, there is plenty of room to spread out and visit, the deck so super spacious snd has beautiful views and the river area was fantastic! Serene and private. We loved it, can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Property
This was an amazing rental that met all our needs. Definitely spacious for 8 people. Beautiful home and beautiful scenery. We fully enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the river. The kitchen was well stock with cookware and spices and condiments. We love items that are left behind for the next guests and not thrown out. This was an A+ experience and I would highly recommend.

Granddaughter’s Wedding Nearby
Wonderful property. Location was easy to access with many places to visit nearby. Perfect spot to escape to enjoy special family time. For us it was less than a 15 minute drive to participate in all family events with easy drive which was important since we were not familiar with the area.

Utter bliss
Fantastic location for nature lovers. Fox, deer (fawns, bucks, does), quail, songbirds all in abundance and not at all shy. We found activites for all ages and inclinations, including botanical gardens, fine dining (in Placerville), an abundance of historical sites and museums, river rafting and miles of hiking trails, many of which are also good for running and biking. The house was spacious and the kitchen well-equipped for gourmet cooks. Wide choice of books to browse, and board games and puzzles, for when the weather invites you to stay indoors. Highly recommend this unique spot!

This place was everything we were looking for! The house/cabin was a great size for 6 adults and 1 child with river access less than a two-minute walk away. It was extremely clean and had every amenity you would need - especially the kitchen. There is plenty to see and do just a very short drive away, we were delighted with our stay. Stacey was always prompt and kind with her responses. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great house for a family gathering. Very comfortable and allowed for lots of river fun. We did lots of swimming and paddle boarding.

Perfect vacation home
I Loved this house! It had everything we needed and was so beautiful. The house was very nice inside and out. The deck was Amazing! I loved the view from the deck of the river and watching the rafts go by. We went to this area to go whitewater rafting for a few days and had a blast! It was made even better by our stay in this beautiful home. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Perfect place to relax and spend time with family
I had a great experience at this home. It is a good size and has everything you need for your stay. I love the river front, it's perfect to get your feet wet or relax in the water. I do recommend at least an all wheel drive vehicle if you plan to drive down to the river. Lots of birds and other wild life. My kids loved it. I Highly recommend this place.

An amazing get-away - pristine and private
We had just the most wonderful time during our stay at this very special property. So beautifully appointed on the river, very private and peaceful, spacious, exceptionally clean and full of all the amenities you'd ever need. I couldn't recommend more highly.

Great place!
What a great retreat they had after a long day at work. The guys loved downstairs playing corn hole and with the other games there were to play down there... Will definitely stay again when they have to go back up!!!

The whole house was pristinely cleaned, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, spices, etc to cook group meals. Firewood was provided to make a cozy fire, and there is plenty of seating in the common areas for a group to hang out. Despite some warnings about poor wifi connection, we did not have any problems with internet connection.

Plenty of room indoors and out, easy walk to the river. Lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful view. Really great kitchen and Very well supplied for entertaining well. We had a wonderful time there and would absolutely stay there again.

The property is just beautiful! The locations is outstanding and secluded from traffic and neighbors. We had our son's wedding on Saturday and the boys could get ready at the house, near the venue. The house is on the river, and we could go down to the beach and watch the water rise. I have a feeling, we will be back!Thanks for the experience!

Wedding weekend
This property was the perfect location for the bridal party to stay and prepare for my sons wedding. The host was in contact the whole weekend making sure that all of their needs were met and that the stay was enjoyable. The home is located on the beautiful river which ended up being the perfect spot to hang out, they never left the home. The house was clean and well stocked with essentials needed for a pleasant stay. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a fabulous time.

So much fun!
We had an amazing trip-- book a rafting trip with ARTA and hang out the rest of the time on the river from the beautiful house. We cooked and played game sand watched movies -- such a needed get away. Deer came for a visit -- we loved it and you will too!

Amazing!!!
This property does not disappoint. Gorgeous, well kept house that was very clean. Like really clean. Views from the deck make a great spot for morning coffee. This location on the river was perfect for beginning floaters as you can do a loop without having to drive anywhere. My questions were promptly answered by the property manager. We will definitely be back.

We never wanted to leave
The house is big, beautiful, and immaculate. We had a smaller group but you could easily have 2 adults in each bedroom and not feel like you're on top of each other in the common areas. Clean, high quality furnishings. Easy access to the river. We didn't leave the property during our 4 night stay - just spent all day by the river and cooked our meals in the well-appointed kitchen or via the BBQ overlooking the river.
Stacey was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. We stay in a lot of vacation rentals and this is one we'll definitely return to - photos don't do it justice.
