Amazing views, the lake was fantastic and we had a wonderful family vacation! Home is beautifully decorated and well equipped . Love the fact that there are no dedicated bunk rooms, but still could accommodate children. Loft suite could use more privacy with a wall/door. We would rate a five star if everything were in great order, but there were cleanliness issues, especially on the decks, and many small maintenance and wear/tear issues. Need regular check ups of the property to make sure everything is up to five star quality.

Perfect for our Clemson weekend to visit our daughter. Close enough not to be a long drive but away from the crowds and on a beautiful lakefront property. Could not have asked for more. Took advantage of the canoes and paddle board as well. Super clean, comfortable and well appointed. Highly recommended.

House as described - clean and well-maintained. Nice to have two family areas - one on each level. Property located in a small (+-10-12 homes) newer development and are close together. Additional parking is very convenient. Really appreciate being able to bring our dog.

Right on the lake with a gentle, short walk to the dock. Easy swimming; jet skier and boat wake was excessive at times. Would book again.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing week on one of the most beautiful lakes. The home was perfect for our party of 6 adults. Plenty of room, kitchen amenities, covered porch (a must) and lake toys. Personally loved my reading/napping chair under the trees down near the lake. We all agreed this was the best lake trip yet. Boat and jet ski rental at Keowee Marina and Lake Time Watersports were convenient and reasonably priced. We will be back again in 2025!!

The pictures on the website are amazing, but nothing compares to seeing it in person. We have rented other similar homes on Keowee, but this one easily beats them all. Our family couldn't say enough about how impressive the house was. The home was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. All the beds are very comfortable. Every TV is a large flat screen smart TV with Netflix and apps. We started every day sitting on the upper deck with our coffee overlooking this multi-million dollar view looking out at big water and islands. And we ended the day sharing stories at the fire pit, which was great. The kids loved the kayaks and stand up paddle board. Doug and Beth were very responsive to anything we needed. The hardest part about our stay was leaving this beautiful home, but we will definitely be back!

We had an excellent stay! The communication was awesome and checking in was a breeze. The home was right on Keowee Lake. Rented a pontoon boat from Keowee Marina which was a recommendation from the home's owners. This was also a big hit with the family. The house offered bedrooms on the 3 levels which was perfect for my mother who really can't do too stairs. The views from each level of the house was spectacular. A great stay!

We were disappointed to find the condition that this home was provided to us. It wasn't just dirty, it was deep down filth -- the kind you get only after not cleaning for a very, very long time. There were drips down the walls, on cabinets and doors, the moldings were filthy, hair and dust debris behind the doors and drawers filled with hair and dust from previous tenants. The entire basement absolutely stunk of mildew -- which we found was coming from the laundry room. The gasket to the door of the washing machine was coated in mold, and permeated so deeply that not even three runs of Afresh (front load machine cleaner) could erase the mold and smell. We found piles of hair in the gasket reservoir and in the dryer. This hair was not ours. It literally made me gag cleaning it out. I did one load of towels, and could not stomach putting any of our own clothing inside -- so one week stay and no laundry washed. When we contacted the owners about the state of the house, they did send the housekeeper over the next day to refresh the property. She did an okay job, not great. But it was an improvement. I did not go on vacation to clean a home that I expected to be clean. My family was completely grossed out, as I was I. The furnishings stunk -- clearly they have not been cleaned in a long while, if ever. After sitting on the upholstery, our clothing stank. We could not enjoy the patio furniture as it needed a good power wash. The back patio was covered in over one foot of leaves. At a lake house, one would expect to be able to enjoy the outdoors. The lake is lovely. We did enjoy using the kayaks. But we are very clean people and could not relax in a home like this. The photos are lovely -- but I would caution you if you enjoy cleanliness that this home will not meet your expectations. What a disappointment.

Everything was as described, we were very comfortable, and the house was clean. We had no problems communicating with the owners through the app. It’s an easy trip to Clemson for the games and we would be likely to return!

This house is perfect for anyone who wants peace, quiet and a respite from the chaos of the outside world. We found all of that and more. It's convenient to restaurants and they deliver. The house is comfortable and absolutely ON the lake. Doesn't get any better than that. We'll definitely be back again next year - or before. Thank you for a really great week!

We had a wonderful time here and enjoyed the stupendous views, dock and covered porch. Only a few tweaks would be necessary to make it perfect - some nicer bed pillows, a better cleaning company, and a refresher on some pots and pans (we bought two for the house!) but otherwise it was well stocked and well furnished. Communication was excellent and we'd stay at one of the hosts properties again.

Our family reunion was incredible thanks to the homes and their proximity to each other. Great amenities!!

The house is very nice but is located in an open water area. We were not able to use floats or wade into the water due to the constant waves rocking the dock. My daughter was also injured when the dock ladder broke; one step was already missing and the top one broke and cut her leg. Otherwise, the view is amazing and we enjoyed the deck and grill.

Rented this VRBO after looking at a number of homes in the Clemson area. We were headed there to visit my son for a long Easter weekend. What a beautiful, quaint, lake home. We hardly left the covered porch, when at the house. We also rented a pontoon boat for our stay. The lake was massive, beautiful views, and it was so nice to have a boat house to keep it in, during our stay. Great house on the lake. Our October stay the water was somewhere between incredible and spectacular. The local town does not offer much in the way of restaurants but if relaxing at the lake is on the agenda this home delivers.

Loved the location, loved the house and all the outdoor areas. The house was very well equipped for cooking and grilling. Plenty of room to spread out. Enjoyed both living areas and having bathrooms for each bedroom. The dock was great too especially the walk out ladder. Loved everything and hope to stay there again!!
