I enjoyed my stay in the Cottage House Loft durong my visit to Lexington. The loft was very clean and had all the amenities of home. I would definitely stay here again, thank you for the great experience!

The carriage house is in a great location. It is a short drive to downtown Lexington where there area lot of dining options. The house is also close to Natural Bridge State Park. The house has everything you need for your stay. It was great to not have to worry about bringing coffee, creamer, sugar, toiletries and so much more. We enjoyed the fire pit too. It had everything you need to start a fire.

This is a beautiful property located near Lexington, Virginia. It is quiet and peaceful, close to the George Washington National Forest. A trip to Goshen is definitely worth it. The house was immaculate…fully furnished and even coffee was provided. The bed was fantastic—very comfortable and firm. I highly recommend this property when visiting the Shenandoah Valley. Truly outstanding.

My wife and I needed to find a spot to stay for graduation at Washington & Lee and I found this cottage online. It was a wonderful location: a very short drive to campus, perfect size for a couple and with all the amenities of home. We didn't get to use the firepit but it had plenty of wood and everything needed to get it going. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone visiting family at W&L or VMI. I well definitely book this cottage again for future reunions!

Don't let this property's proximity to Lee Highway and I-81 scare you off! This was my only concern picking this property, but it was very last minute so our options were limited. It's still a very quiet and cozy location, especially at night! Beautiful views of the stars and the pasture behind the carriage house. I would have to say our favorite thing about the whole place was the kitchen. My girlfriend and I love to cook for each other and greatly appreciated how well-appointed it was...every cooking utensil we needed was provided! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was roomy with a nice big shower which is always a blessing when you're 6'5" like myself! I personally prefer a more rustic and secluded place, but being less than 10 minutes to downtown Lexington was extremely convenient and this carriage house did not disappoint! I also wanted to add that even though we didn't need anything from him, Joe was very helpful and checked in on us through VRBO messages here and there, but it was in no way intrusive; rather it gave us peace of mind that if anything should go wrong, Joe would be available immediately! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
