We loved our stay! We were able to easily walk to the beach, coffee and food. While the house is narrow, it was comfortable and unique. We enjoyed lunch on the roof with a beautiful view and slept great. We definitely recommend!!

Loved being able to walk to all the bars and shops we miss visiting when we lived in San Diego. The pictures are definitely when it was new as the rugs were dirty and stained. The kitchen counter was cluttered with other visitor's left-over food items. It wasn't as sparkly clean as the ad shows and it wasn't ideal for 2 couples. There is only 1 actual bedroom. However, we spent most of our time outside of the unit, so it wasn't a big deal. We would stay again, we would just have more realistic expectations of the unit. Thank you!

Very convenient location. 6 minutes walking distance to the very nice beach. 9 minutes walking distance to the main street with a lot of bars and activities. 5 minutes driving to the water world.

Overall a great place. It was a smooth check in and check out process. Really close to the beach and good restaurants. It was somewhat difficult to stay with our kids due to the layout of the house but enjoyed the location. If you don’t have young children, great place to stay with friends or family.

The layout is slightly different from the pictures but overall this place is excellent. A few blocks from Ocean Beach. Conveniently located near shops and food. The roof top was definitely my favorite in the morning for sunrise and at night for the fireworks from Sea World!

Such a cool place, close to beach. Rooftop was awesome. The paint needs some touch-up and the entire place needs a deep clean.

We stayed with our teenage daughter and her friend and they had their own space on the first floor which they loved. Easy walking to beach, restaurants/bars, and shopping. Also convenient to zoo and downtown San Diego. Rooftop view is amazing. Host was responsive to any questions we had. Would book again!

The property is close to the beach, has lots of easy parking, within easy walking distance of lots of the beach and restaurants, and was tidy. There really is only one bedroom, however. The other sleeping spaces are a loft that is fun for kids, but not particularly easy to get to, and a sleeper sofa on the first floor. There was not a place to eat together, even though there is a kitchen.

We had a great time with family friends who visited from east coast. The lounging area was a bit small for all of us sitting together but the roof top deck was a perfect place to hang out while enjoying beautiful sunsets. The rooftop deck had plenty of seating options, a large table and a grill conveniently hooked to the gas line. Thanks for hosting us!

I decided to use this site vs the Air one and found this really nice looking property. I have never used any of these apps, because I’ve only stayed in hotels. I’ll tell you what, this home looks exactly as it does on the pictures! What a pleasant surprise! The home was very clean and orderly. It was well supplied with towels, bathroom and kitchen supplies! It was so accommodating and comfortable. I hate to travel because I always have a hard time sleeping on foreign beds. But the bed they had in the master bedroom was very comfortable and I sleep very well! The pillows were nice too! Thank you for this! There are many restaurants and shops literally a block or two away! The beach is only a 4-5 minute walk away! It was nice to have a garage to park my car in because I didn’t have to search for street parking. True to the advisement given by the owner, it is very tight to get into, but I am a driving master, so no sweat getting my mid sized SUV in there! It will fit a mid sized sedan even better! The home also has a washer and dryer! My wife loved the rooftop terrace and she took many pictures up there! The neighborhood was relatively safe. I was able to go on a walk with my young family and no problem. There were some homeless folks hanging out here and there, but they were the kind that keep to themselves. They were the aggressive panhandling types and there wasn’t urine and feces all over the place like in Los Angeles. We will return to this location!

This place is perfect for an Ocean Beach vacation. We had 6 people and plenty of room to spread out if needed or hang together as an entire group. It has 3 separate places to sleep with a bathroom for each so everyone gets their own privacy. The rooftop deck is amazing with 360 views of the city, ocean and beaches. The house really has everything you need for cooking and doing laundry, plus plenty of chairs for inside and outside. We definitely plan on staying there again!

Stayed here for a work trip last minute and lucked out with this spot! We booked it the night before at midnight so their cleaning team didn’t have much of a chance to get in there until morning of so I understand things couldn’t be perfectly clean. It was a nice and quiet part of ocean beach with a two minute walk to the dog beach! Such an awesome spot, definitely will be back!

Great location and in fairly good shape. Needs some minor repairs, clog sinks, a few outlets did not work, one light did not work, door lock did not work and WiFi was in and out.

We enjoyed our stay in this property at Ocean Beach. The high ceilings, big windows and rooftop deck were impressive. We loved watching the sunset from the deck. The location was walking distance to the beach, park, cafes, grocery stores and restaurants. Our host Pedro communicated well and the check in process was easy. We will stay here again in the near future and recommend this hidden gem to family and friends.

Really clean house in a very central location. Run by very a professional property manager. Will definitely rebook with them in the the future.

Place was in a great location walking distance from the beach/restaurants and the rooftop is cool. Giving 3 stars because the inside of the house is small and all the rooms are split up making it difficult to congregate more than 3-4 people in a given area indoors. The house has one very compact parking spot in the garage but street parking wasn’t too difficult. If you’re a light sleeper the planes taking off will wake you up in the morning. Some things I didn’t realize when I initially booked: You will be staying at one of three identical looking houses in a row that are owned by the same rental company. The greeting message acts like this is someone’s personal house that they built. The owner has a camera in front of the garage and a ring camera at the front door as well. There was a ring device in the kitchen that we unplugged in case it was monitoring audio - wasn’t sure what that was. They also charge a security deposit on your credit card prior. The rental agreement they make you sign claims that if more than the number of guests specified are at the house they can take the security deposit. The security deposit wasn’t charged through VRBO. The rental agreement they make you sign is a bit aggressive in my opinion. They want you to sign it via email outside of VRBO and threaten to not give you the door code if you don’t Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10 pm. I asked to check in earlier but no response until I got a notification the house was ready about 20 mins prior to my check in time

We had a great stay here! The location and rooftop are AMAZING!! I just wished the A/C reached the main bedroom because it was very hot!
