Great location and a nice house. Everything was clean and just as described. Easy check in and check out. Owners were easy to deal with and responsive. We will be looking to go again in the future.

We enjoyed this house from the second we walked in! It was very clean and nicely decorated! Great view of the river from the bottom and upper deck with adequate seating outside! Easy access to the river! We enjoyed our days just hanging out at the house/river! Grocery store is close by! Gruene was an easy 20 minute drive! Beds were extra comfortable, we usually never sleep well in other vrbos but we slept great here! House had everything we needed! Owner was very responsive. We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent location on the river. The home, while older, was great and served our needs.

Family weekend gathering spot. Great base for Gruene and canyon lake gorge. Also good fly fishing. Hope to visit again in warmer weather.

My husband and I stayed here for just over a week during the fall of 2022. We loved the fenced in yard so we could let our dog out off-leash! The house had the essentials, nothing fancy, but met our needs just fine! If you are traveling to the area and bring a pet I would highly recommend this house!

Easy access to river with nice view from porch, overall good stay for 3 couples. Property could use some cleaning up and updating, but no issues that weren’t take care of by the owner.

We had a wonderful stay. Love the fact that we were on the river and it was more family friendly. I must say the walk down to the river is a little challenging but we managed. We would defiantly stay here again.

The house had the perfect layout and met all of our needs for 8 adults. The a/c seemed to struggle pretty badly, so the house was a little warmer during the day and sometimes in the mid 80s. The patios could use a good power wash. The cleaning crew looked like they were in a hurry. We found dirty clothes/towels in the master closet and a random shirt on the patio. The location was perfect. We had our tube outfitter (Mountain Breeze) shuttle us to/from the house to the float which made our experience that much better.

We loved the location of this home on the river! We had our paddle boards and it was a great spot to go up and down the river. House had everything we needed and we had a great time! We knew by the notes left from homeowner to bring extra towels and toiletries so we were good. Thank you for sharing your home! 😃

This is our third time to stay in this house. We love the location and access to river.

Beds were comfy which is a big deal for us. Generally clean accommodations. Looks like the property is getting some updates, but some things still need to be tossed to make the place feel up to date. Old bath towels, old cookware, cheap coffee maker, dated patio furniture, and a cluttered garage, didn’t match the updated bedding and some of the other updates they have done. Some conveniences like shampoo, conditioner, bath soap we’re not provided and would have been really nice to have on hand. The guest bath would not drain, leaving us to all share the master shower. Access to the water was great. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but if I have to truly rate it against 5 star properties we’ve stayed at, it was just ok.

Our family enjoyed this property. The beds are comfortable, the open floor plan is spacious, the deck and patio are large, the fence is secure for our dog, the river is steps away and groceries are close by. Definitely a winner.

Accommodations were good - bedroom with 2 full size beds great for children, or just one adult per bed. Queen bed and king bed were comfortable for adults. Best chill spot with lovely view of hills downriver. We sat in river in our chairs and also sat in the water on our floats - GREAT relaxation location on river. Better than rentals near this rental pocket. Easy drive to New Braunfels, Gruene, Horseshoe, and 5 mins. to grocery or great restaurant, Wildflour, in Canyon Lake area.

We had a wonderful weekend here with family from Belgium and our dog. It is clean and well-located, just next to the river. We would stay here again for our next trip to New Braunfels.

Thanksgiving was delightful in a quiet, peaceful setting on the river. Home is very clean with comfortable beds and updated throughout with new, large capacity appliances. Did not use the gas/charcoal grill riverside. Porch a great place to relax out of the weather. Stores nearby for groceries, etc. and limited local take-out. We’ll-stocked with pots, pans, glasses and tableware. Exceeded expectations.

We were able to have a relaxing stay in a nice vacation house right on the river! We enjoyed fishing and a great view and beautiful drive down River Road!
