Great location, comfortable bed, kitchen and access to outside

Throw pillows on bed, room too small for that. Carpet under bed unnecessary. No instructions to make heated towel rack work

The location was terrific! We also enjoyed the grounds and access to the outside. The furniture selection was nice. Overall this is a nice place to stay, but we did unfortunately have a few bumps in the process.

Our bed sheets were dirty and there was a variety of hair in the sheets. Unfortunately due to the hour (this was on us) there wasn't a fix until the next day, We wound up sleeping on top of the bed as that seemed to be cleaner. Also we ran out of toilet paper, asked for it to be replace and it was not. We were only provided with one partially used roll. We had to purchase additional. Finally while the kitchen had plates, glasses and cooking utensils, there was not any silverware...no forks, knives or spoons. We also asked for this to be brought to the room (as it was forgotten), but that unfortunately did not happen either. Given the cost, I would have expected better follow through, especially since we effectively weren't able to sleep comfortably for one of our three night. While very apologetic, it was a bit disappointing.

They kitchen was excellently equipped. The provision of all the essential beverages were a real surprise.

The shower tray doesn’t drain the water fast enough & water was spilling onto the mat outside the shower room and as a result, it was soaking wet every time we took a shower. Lastly all face towels, bath towels & floor mat outside the shower were not replaced daily until requested by phone to the reception.

No. 1 Apartments in Mary’s Place are in the heart of St. Andrews, everything can easily be reached on foot. We were advised to park in a nearby parking lot, which is free of charge, it is just a five-minute walk away. Street parking is available, too, at 1,10 GBP per hour. There are two buildings with apartments all rented by the same owner, one facing the street while the one we stayed in (no. 9) was in the second row behind a small courtyard with chairs and tables. Our apartment came with two bedrooms with each a large double bed, two bathrooms (one of which had a shower) and a sitting room with a small kitchen with dishwasher, oven, fridge, Nespresso coffeemaker and tea kettle. The bathrooms all contained high quality toiletries (refillable). Everything looked new and well-kept, the only issue we faced was closing the door to the courtyard which was so distorted that it was almost impossible to get it shut. There is no reception on site, all doors are opened with a 4-digit code provided before arrival (it’s the same code for all doors, including the one to the apartment itself). We found the concept of a serviced apartment in the middle of St. Andrews very comfortable.

REALLY DIFFICULT TO ACCESS LATE IN THE EVENING, NOT POSSIBLE TO CONTACT STAFF, DIFFICULT TO FIND KEYS, INFO CAME IN AN EMAIL THAT WE HAD MISSED RATHER THAN THROUGH THE BOOKING SITE

Appalling communication. We Received zero information as to our apartment number and how to obtain our key.4 phone calls and an hour and a half later someone finally called us back. Extremely disappointing . To add insult to injury the dudes who finally called kept insisting the email with our apartment information must have gone to my junk mail. This is as insulting as asking ' is it plugged in' when an appliance isn't working. NO IT DIDNT GO TO MY JUNK MAIL. IT COULDNT HAVE BECAUSE YOU NEVER SENT IT! If you chose to make the guest do everything themselves, then you need to inform them of this and give them the appropriate information.

Excellent central location & clean, modern apartment

I had no preconceptions about staying in an apartment hotel. I didn’t know what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised by the property. large, spacious and very well equipped. I would absolutely return to this property next trip to the area, if travelling for Liesure I’d use it as a base to explore further afield.

The entrance was hard to find.

The location was perfect. The room was super clean and very comfortable. We had no trouble getting in. When we had a question about where to leave our keys it was quickly answered.

The only thing we wished was different was we wished we had a mini-fridge. But other than that, everything was PERFECT.

Great location close to good restaurants and a short walk to the beach. Modern and spacious apartment, clean and comfortable. Easy check in.
