I couldn’t sleep because the AC dripped all over my face for hours straight. The hotel is gross and desperately needs a renovation. The carpets look like they haven’t been changed since the 80s. The staff was the only thing that was decent in this decrepit place. Your room will be the size of a jail cell. Highly do not recommend.

The room was very dirty with stinky carpet and small lumpy bed the hall was dark and hot the stairs were unsafe.

A little bit of our mistake also, we didn't read the reviews enough and trusted the average rating (which I would say is too high) and of course the beautiful photos. Initially, I didn't even want to leave the review and rating (We stayed there about one month ago), but Booking insisted by reminding me that, somebody is still waiting for my review :) We took the Standard double room, which the next day was changed on the website to a Small standard. So the bed was 130x160cm, which may be good for Chinese but not good for Scandinavians (good for one short person, not for the couple), the room itself was about 13m2, and for example, we were not able to open 2 luggage at the same time on the floor area. The air conditioning solution was the same as what you can find in Thailand's cheapest hotels. The bathroom was nice and large enough, only part of the room which maybe was worth the money. But the whole point is that on our trip we stayed in 6 different hotels from 4-5 stars, the cheapest was 160 euros (satisfying price per experience) the most expensive was 500 euros per night (mind-blowing experience, TOP). SIX hotels out of FIVE were worth the money. La Villa Dune 400 euros was a total disappointment because it was just overpriced. And the Cherry on the Cake was that the next morning, the lady from the reception commented on my experience by saying "It is France!" (I assume she thought it was our first day in France), actually it was the end of the trip. There are definitely much better price-per-value options in Saint-Tropez.

No elevator, no privacy in rooms (not isolated, u can hear anyone walking out side). You always need password for the main gate of the hotel and you have to remember the password.. very small rooms

I recently stayed at Villa Dune in St. Tropez and I must say it was a complete letdown. Despite paying a hefty sum of 1500 for two nights in the off-season, this hotel failed to live up to its promises. I strongly advise against booking this establishment through booking.com as it fell far short of our expectations. To begin with, I want to address the misleading pictures presented on the website. The images portrayed a luxurious and serene ambiance, but the reality was a stark contrast. The room we were given was nothing like what we had booked. Instead of the upscale room we had reserved, we were assigned a cramped space with a significantly smaller bed, no separate bathroom, and no balcony. It was a terrible start to our stay. The problems didn't end there. On the first night, we discovered that the air conditioning was not functioning. After contacting the staff, they assured us that the issue was fixed. However, when we plugged in the air conditioner later that night, the power in our entire building went out. This meant we had no air conditioning for the entirety of our stay. With no choice but to open the windows, we were subjected to loud music with booming bass from the outside. It was an incredibly unpleasant experience. Adding insult to injury, we were charged a checkout fee for being just one hour late. While I understand that some hotels enforce this policy, it was never clearly stated on booking.com or mentioned during our check-in process. Furthermore, the fee we were presented and charged seemed arbitrary and excessive. This lack of transparency left a bitter taste in our mouths. The hotel's service and amenities were also lacking. One of the two pools, specifically the larger one, was dirty and neglected. To make matters worse, the staff seemed disinterested in providing any sort of service. They failed to take our orders, forcing us to seek them out ourselves. This lack of attention and care towards guests is simply unacceptable.

The room was pathetic. It was freezing cold in there. They did not have heater and we booked the best room available in hotel. I slept at night and woke up in middle of night for washroom All of the room was full of water. it felt like swimming pool. I don’t know how does it has 4 star rating. My bad everything was wet. I said them to return my money i paid for room not swimming pool. All the water was inside . they said you can talk to booking .com we cannot do anything. i Will really appreciate if you compensate me with it and take strict action against this hotel. I can share the video of room as i made how much water was inside when i woke up.

rude staff, unclean rooms and carpets, made the booking with booking.com, when arrived at reception desk, told they have to cancel booking with booking.com - a booking i had already paid for and pay directly there and then. I was reassured I would be refunded from my original booking otherwise i would never have agreed. We are now 4 weeks in and I have received nothing. i have paid twice for my short stay with no option to rectify this. I have called the property a horrendous amount of times to be ignored! avoid at all costs

The property is absolutely beautiful. The room is spacious and has a private porch to enjoy a coffee on, or even enjoy breakfast in the room. We found the staff absolutely delightful and so helpful! The pool is a great space to relax and enjoy a drink too. we highly recommend staying here!

the ONLY downside is that the hotel is located a little out of the way from the main town.

We had a great stay because the room was great, the pool brilliant, location was good, great guests, we made many friends.

Staff was unhelpful, the room didn't have a fridge, the terrace was very dirty and covered in some sticky solution, which maybe it was spray against mosquitos (in which case it's ok). The reception staff was unfriendly, the pool staff great people but need some training, however they were lovely. Overall the price is not reflective of the state of the hotel, but more of it's location and St. Tropez in the summer. I am looking forward to see it renovated.

The staff were excellent. Really helpful and attentive. Definitely the hotel’s best point. The garden and outdoor bar area were lovely.

The guest rooms were shabby and poorly maintained. The bath and mirror in our room were broken. The carpets were dirty, badly fitted and poorly repaired. The view from our room was of the roof. Apparently, there was supposed to be a hint of the sea but that would have taken a leap of faith or a good telescope. One of swimming pools was empty and under repair. It was cordoned off as though from a crime scene.
