We love this lake and property and will be back again!

Adorable property! Enjoyed the fire pit, gas grill, and gas fireplace. Maureen was very helpful and even gave us a late check out. Loved it!

Everything was lovely-not sure how to work the TV but the rest was lovely on the snowy/icy lake. The deer and red squirrels were a bonus.

Our family of 3 had a perfectly refreshing getaway in this lovely cabin on Wanasink Lake. My husband balked a little at the price - it's a bit expensive for what it is - but we did go at the peak of high season (first week of August). The cabin and property are just wonderful. The house is recently renovated with all new hardwood and knotty pine, which gives it that wonderful summer-cabin look and smell. The couch is deliciously deep and comfy. The bathroom is all new, although we used the outdoor shower exclusively (one of humanity's best inventions, the outdoor hot-water shower). The two tiny bedrooms were fine for our family of three. We kayaked daily, swam a bit, and enjoyed evening fires by the water's edge. The property is at the far end of the lake, and although there are neighboring houses on both sides neither was occupied during the week so it was private and quiet. It was exactly what we needed for a COVID-era getaway. My son said it's "the kind of place you want to go back to year after year", and I agree!

My fiancée and I had another (longer) visit to this wonderful property. The waterfront side of the house has been upgraded with a large patio for cooking, dining and lounging. The host is extremely responsive and accommodating. We look forward to returning!

Stayed 5 nights, while visiting friends on the lake. This cottage was perfect for 2-3 people. Fully renovated, the property was lovely to stay at. Beautiful view of the lake. Very enjoyable. Highly recommend it.

Stayed here with the fam for a monday-friday getaway. I had to work from home and the computer setup was perfect - just plugged in the laptop and good to go. Brought the paddleboard, easy fishing, awesome fire-pit and great outdoor shower. House is cozy and layout is efficient. Would definitely stay again.

This was such a great escape from city life. Our 6 year-old assigned herself the bedroom with the lake view. and we kayaked, made s'mores, and enjoyed throwing rocks in the lake every day. Perfectly appointed for our little family of 3. We enjoyed making meals in the kitchen (with a range much nicer than the one I have at home) and the hot water was fast and plentiful. Our host, Maureen, was quick to respond when we accidentally locked ourselves out. We can't wait to go back when it's warm enough to swim!

We loved our long weekend getaway! Great for R & R, winter hiking and outdoor adventure. Great communication with host, beautiful cabin, well appointed. Beautiful views of the frozen lake from multiple vantage points in the cabin. We hated having to leave!

Perfect place for a relaxing escape. House was clean and homey and full of personal touches. Location is great, set right on the lake with a fire pit to sit by the lake and kayaks to explore it.

We were very fortunate to do a longer term stay at this property for almost a month and were so glad we did- wish we could have stayed even longer! The house was great for that amount of time with all the amenities one needs for a comfortable and easy stay. It was very easy to work remotely from the well set up work station with external monitors and keyboard available. The well-appointed kitchen was great for cooking and the living area/sitting porch were super comfortable with windows overlooking the lake from all sides. The lake is very quiet and beautiful with much fewer developed areas than most lakes we have been on. We enjoyed both the front and back seating areas, especially the fire pit right on the lakefront. The location is very close to a grocery store and weekend farmers market which is very convenient and was easy drives to other small towns around the Catskills. Maureen was a fantastic host- super responsive and accommodating. You can tell the care and thought she has put into this home and to make her guests feel welcome. Highly recommend this property and cannot wait to come back again!

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful house. It has a nicely equipped fire pit, outdoor lighting, and a very functional kitchen. Very relaxing location, would stay here again.

My fiancée and I had the pleasure of staying at the Wanaksink Lake cabin for 4 nights. It’s freshly updated, well stocked and very clean. The lake is crystal clear. We really enjoyed the kayaks, long swims and walks through the private community. It’s a unique spot that’s very quiet and most often breezy. We look forward to returning soon!

Everything about the cabin was a delight. New construction and fixtures; lovely welcome package. The lake is beautiful; we made great use of the kayaks and enjoyed the outdoor shower. There was a small glitch on our arrival and Maureen was wonderful and immediately responsive. We went hiking nearby in both Neversink and Basha Kill preservation. We had a wonderful time and would come back for another getaway.

We had an unforgettable vacation away from the busy city. Everything is combined here, and nature, and water and beauty! The house is excellent, comfortable and very clean. We had great pleasure in koyaking, swimming and fishing. All perfectly! Thank you!

Very relaxing and casual lakefront property in the heart of the Catskills. Great place to come back to after a day of hiking to Barlow Mountain to grill some steak and relax watching the water.

The views from the cabin are gorgeous, the interior is warm and cozy. The hosts provide you with everything you need for an amazing weekend on the lake. We really enjoyed kayaks! We will definitely be visiting again.
