Veronica was great at answering my questions! The barn was fantastic for our large party. We enjoyed the fire pit, the sitting area. It had all we needed in the kitchen. I would just suggest a new can opener we had quite the time getting it to work. We were even allowed to enter earlier than the check in time but we didn’t but Veronica was great at letting us know in advance. We spent most of our trip at the barn hanging out & playing games. We had enough room to spread out inside and out.

Upon arrival the house was clearly not cleaned. There was dog hair all over the couches, bathrooms were dirty, and the floors were filthy. They did not provide trash bags or paper towels as advertised. They show their house to be in a prime location within a private neighborhood on Cypress Lane right on the river and the day of check in, their address took me to a spot nowhere near this neighborhood and the closest river access was a 15 minute walk. After we left they accused us of breaking their countertop and sent me a bill for $2400. I’m pretty sure they are doing this to everyone that stays here in the hopes that someone pays for it. When we got there the first day my wife noticed the broken counter top. This just goes to show they didn’t clean the house before we arrived or they would have noticed the damage. Or they are lying to each guest hoping to find a sucker who will pay for it. I’ve stayed at VRBO houses for 6 years now and this was by far the worst place I’ve stayed.

Our 2nd trip to Barn Life and it did not disappoint!! Had a group of 18 college students, and this house was simply amazing. Daryl and Veronica were extremely responsive and accommodating through our entire stay. Kitchen was equipped with EVERYTHING we needed, and we loved hanging out and grilling in the backyard. This house is absolutely perfect for large groups, everyone was comfortable and had plenty of sleeping room. We could not have asked for better hosts, or house for our group. I would recommend this house to anyone planning a trip to the Frio.

The pictures don't do this property justice... it is SUPER adorable. We would have appreciated a washer/dryer during the stay, but everything else was fantastic! Great indoor / outdoor visiting areas for a bunch of people and / or families with kids. Highly recommend staying here!

My friends and I stayed here to float the river and all hang out after being apart and it was perfect! So so much fun! The owners are the sweetest and most welcoming people! We got a lot of use out of the backyard at night time. This place is perfect for entertaining and hanging out with good friends! So many memories made at this house would be so happy and excited to stay again!

This was a great place to stay! Awesome location and the hosts were great. The house is super nice and is equipped with almost everything you could need. We will definitely be coming back!

beautiful property, lots of room, most tranquil spot we could of had close to the river, abundance of wildlife!

The house was awesome, we enjoyed the deer & family time!!! We had a son who got engaged on the 26th while on vacation!! It was the best vacation & we had the cleanest nicest house!!

Washer & dryer would be nice . Overall the house was amazing!
