The cabin was perfect-beautiful setting with a lot of wildlife-deer, turkeys, birds. Super man cave with a pool table and dart board. Highly recommend.

Very nice property. The owners had thought of everything. There is a nice firepit outside with wood. The home has a hot tub which we didn't use but it will if we return in the future. There is a fireplace outside on the porch which was a nice way to ward off the morning chill. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the squirrels and birds. Inside was a comfortable sized open floorplan with the kitchen/couches and a table. The kitchen was well stocked so we just had to bring food. The beds were comfortable, plenty of extra blankets if needed. The bathrooms had enough towels and the place felt clean and well taken care of. If we ever visit this area again - which we may - we will try and stay here again. The only downside is the area - not this home. Uber nor Lyft exist and the local guy was $40 each way to drive us the mile and half into town. We were in town for concerts at Tooney's - which is a great new venue! Highly recommend.

Enjoyed our long weekend! Everything was as advertised. We played darts and pool, the husbands sat around the fire pit, and my sister and I played cards and hung out a lot by the fireplace on the deck. We enjoyed feeding the deer and the birds. It was a great place to stay and I would definitely book again.

Great accommodations -- we cooked, played billiards, thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the woods, and slept very well. It's close to Blue Ridge and a short drive to nice hiking. Nice spot!!

This was our second time staying at the Deer Pine Lodge. It was perfect! Decorated for Christmas and all the fireplaces Easy to use. Hot tub was perfect for the cold nights. We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely property. It was clean and the owners had thought of everything. It was convenient to both McCaysville and Blue Ridge but was still quiet and allowed us to truly feel "away from it all."

We stayed in the beautiful cabin to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was perfect. The hosts thought of everything imaginable to make it feel like home. Make sure you go into town to the Rum Cake Lady. We would stay here again.

This property was 5 stars all the way around. Communication with owners was also very responsive and great. Only issue dealt with the Air Conditioning. Owners have a note on A/C control pad asking NOT to turn A/C down below 72 because the unit would freeze over. We stayed at the end of July. That made the stay uncomfortable because we prefer to have temp around 68-70. But otherwise- everything was great.

The property was exactly as described and all photos were current so we were very pleased. Beautiful shaded lot with plenty of hardwoods so the only sound we typically heard for hours was just the leaves rustling in the wind, which is exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy. Abundance of beautiful birds including a hummingbird that we haven’t seen in forever. Although the house contained everything you could possibly need, there’s only one thing I would add. A couch on the porch doubling as a bed to go along with the very nice kitchen and I think we would have just eaten and slept out there too! Plan to go again and would definitely recommend.

I can’t say enough about this property, the location is gorgeous and the cabin is stunning, it was truly the perfect way to spend my birthday weekend. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplaces, cozying up with a drink and chatting the night away. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to cook dinner and enjoy the our meal overlooking the beautiful wooded view. We enjoyed watching the fire flicker from the hot tub and then when we all retired, there was room enough for us all to have our own comfortable spaces. The beds and linens were so soft, prompting a good nights rest to venture to the charming town of McCaysville, just down the road. There is absolutely nothing about this home or the surrounding area that does not deserve a 5+ star. We highly recommend and will definitely return!

Was not a problem at all for Dawn and Scott. Perfect place for my husband to continue healing. Easy cabin to drive to, even at night, after driving from Florida. Everything we needed was supplied and the place is beautiful. The birds were fun to watch in the morning and the deer coming up in late afternoon was just beautiful. Seven deer all together as we stood on the porch and watched quietly. Will definitely book again and bring the family.

Fair warning, one of the queen beds listed is a pull out couch. This cabin was absolutely perfect and we can not wait to return.

This was one of the most beautiful well equipped cabins we've ever stayed in. Everything you would ever need. Board games, gas fireplaces, outside fire pit with wood. Hot tub was great. Movies, board games and literally 5 mins from downtown. This cabin is a must. Highly recommended for family time.
