Stayed for 3 nights. The house is beautiful with lots of creaky charm. Great price, clean, convenient location and Charles is the best.

The property and its proximity to businesses and restaurants is just wonderful. Glad I booked this room, and I had a lot of fun in the Boston area as a result. Will definitely be staying here again If I ever get the chance.

Did the job for my budget

Amazing property. Alot of stairs...lol...I had LARGE luggage. Restful stay. Quiet location. Extremely responsive Host. I LOVED the bathrooms...omg...the bath gel: eased my travel aches.

Not too far from boston, surprisingly a lot of city parking, quiet neighborhood. Clean and delightful.

This is a lovely home in what seems like a safe location. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and he was super nice and made me feel so welcome and comfortable! It was convenient to have access to the washer/dryer onsite. The shared bathroom takes some getting used to, but I did not have any trouble with that at all (mostly available when I needed and the couple of times I had to wait, the other guests were good about doing what they needed to do and getting out- no long showers, etc). The room does not have a tv, which I think is noted in the listing and was not an issue for me, as I did not spend much time in the room. Overall, a very comfortable stay, and I would happily stay here again as a single woman traveling alone. You can hear other guests walking around upstairs, some street noise, etc. (it's an older home with wood floors, which is nice and adds to the charm, but can also contribute to noise). If you're a light sleeper and those types of ambient house noises bother you, I would recommend a sound machine or something similar.

What a beautiful house in a very charming neighborhood! Felt so warm and comfortable. I will definitely recommend this place to friends traveling in Boston.

Single room in multi-room house with shared bathroom and common space. A bit expensive for these lodgings although very friendly and easy staff.
