This was a good fit for us because we were in town for 3 days and needed easy access to the Fenway part of town. It was an easy 10 minute drive. Parking on the street at the residence was easy. The room was clean and comfortable and sharing the bathroom was not an issue.

My sister and stayed here and found it a sweet stay, the bedroom had soft comfy sheets and the mattress was incredibly perfect that the both of us fell right to sleep. The neighbor hood had amazingly helpful people who guided us to Salam while walking their dog. I’m glad we stayed here, it only increased the Salem Halloween experience. It made us feel apart of the community. Thank you for this treasured memory.

Wonderful three story home set in the hills of Boston suburb with great updates to the bathrooms and kitchen. A quaint second floor balcony with table and chairs surrounded by the tree tops and a wonderful back yard below. Charming, friendly and cozy!

The entire experience was very good. Charlie, the house manager, was incredibly helpful anytime we needed advice or had a problem. I didn't like the street congestion (i.e. - two way traffic on essentially "one car width" streets), but we were told by a very nice gentleman during our travels that that simply means "Welcome to Boston." The litmus test is always - would we stay there again? The answer is a resounding yes! Dave and Flo

Charles was very responsive to emails. House lovely. Street parking a bit difficult depending on when you arrive. Detailed instructions on how to get to your room very nice and well written. A few nice restaurants within walking distance at oak square. Felt very safe walking in the area. Had a great night sleep in a comfortable bed.

First time we ever stayed in Boston area. Bit surprised that host was not present at this inn, but maybe that is the trend? Very clean Bath and Kitchen area, and new linens for bed. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I woke at 1 am to the sound of someone cleaning the VRBO. It was certainly a very strange time for someone to come in and clean. At first I thought it was someone breaking in. Also whomever cleans might do a better job if they did it in the daytime. It was pretty dusty in there.

Needs a deep clean! A lot of unclean dust on furnitures and floor. Shared bathroom so they do not clean everyday which is s mistske in my opinion.

This was a short trip to Boston to help my son pack up at Boston College and home for the summer. Definitely would stay again!

Very clean and easy to access. Loved having brand new sheets for the bed and loved the updated kitchen and bathroom! Would have loved a full set of towels, however, instead of just one bath towel. Also, there were a lot of stairs. May not be ideal for those with heavy bags and/or mobility issues. Overall, it's a great property.

The bed and breakfast was a beautiful building and a good place for a kitchen and a warm bed. A few very minor things I had observed was squeaky furniture and walls were thin. Could hear my neighbors very clearly. We did not stay in the house really except to sleep. As there were lots of instructions to follow for coming in and out that we wanted to respect. At no point did I meet the housekeeper or owners. Charles did say we caused some damage to the walls with an adhesive- which appeared to me to be a spot where someone forgot to paint. It seemed as they were trying to get money from the travelers insurance. With that isolated incident aside things were okay. We cleaned up after ourselves - tried to be respectful of the house and everyone in it. It was a very good value for the location.

I loved staying at this home and getting to experience the city of Brighton from a convenient spot! The house was close to several cute cafes, lunch spots, a CVS, and stops for multiple bus lines that take you to Allston, Cambridge, and Boston. Charles was great about responding to my messages quickly, and I felt very safe as a solo female traveler in the area. I can’t wait to stay here the next time I’m in town!

We had never used VRBO and had alot of questions. Charles promptly responsed to my many questions, usually within the hour and was very helpful. The room was as the pictures show and the house was clean and well maintained. Getting into Boston was somewhat difficult, requiring many bus transfers. There was construction next door which began at 6:30 am and was loud. We could not use the kitchen to prepare meals as there was a permanent resident there and he had the refrigerator full, with no extra space. Overall it was a good experience, and again I can not express enough how helpful Charles was with my many questions.

The room was very clean and comfortable in a beautiful, old house with a beautiful kitchen, access to the entire floor's rooms for sitting and reading, eating in dining room, and a breathtaking backyard off the kitchen that was very peaceful. Nice neighborhood and very close to stores in charming Brighton, Boston. I'd definitely stay again for the very reasonable price. Thanks for the nice memory.
