Our stay was quite hospitable. It is a beautiful, peaceful area. A huge thank you to Debbie. She was so thoughtful to ask and supply some food and drinks for us, especially after a long drive. We loved the cinnamon cake! Thank you!

The cottage was spectacular! Super clean and beautiful. The beds and seating were extremely comfortable. There were gorgeous views of the lake and mountains from most parts of the cottage. Everything we needed was there for us to use. Debbie and Mark are THE best hosts. I feel like we made new friends and I now have a home away from home when I want to visit my son and daughter-in-law. My only regret was that, since I was there for my son’s wedding, I didn’t have more time to sit and enjoy the property. I did have brief moments to sit in the bench, the swing and the deck to listen to the waves lapping against the rocks, hear the peepers, feel the breeze and take in the lake and mountains, which helped greatly to ground me in between each run to get get things done. I feel like we won the lottery by finding this place. Yes, if you have a group of 4 or less and this is an area you are looking into staying in, you want to stay here! Do yourself a favor and book!

Extremely quiet and well appointed house perfectly situated on the edge of Lake Champlain. We did not need much, however the host went above and beyond to ensure we had a relaxing stay. And she baked a fabulous coffee cake! We appreciated the extra touches and hope to be back again.

We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful place to stay for our vacation. The Guest House is perfect in every way. We were treated like family! Debbie went over and beyond to provide a sanctuary for our vacation. The location is quiet and peaceful. The fishing is great... my husband caught a huge largemouth from shore just ten minutes after we arrived! Debbie's coffee cake was supreme! We will definitely be back next year!

Beautiful, serene, relaxing, picturesque sunsets

The reviews on here are all accurate. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this Guest House. Debbie and Mark are very warm and friendly owners. Debbie’s attention to detail is evident from the moment you walk in the door to this lovely cottage. Bed linens and towels were clean and plush. All the groceries she purchased were products I would of picked out for my own family. Oh and believe the hype, Debbie’s homemade coffee cake is scrumptious. Restaurants and attractions are between 20 minutes to 45 minutes away. Perfect location on the lake.

THE most thoughtful hosts ever. Beautiful setting on the shores of Lake Champlain. Everything and more that you’ll need for a great stay. We would happily return!

The "Guest House" is everything it appears to be online, plus! It is a totally relaxing cottage, with outstanding views of Lake Champlain. This cozy space, with its welcoming decor, beautiful knotty pine and comfy furnishings, was all we had hoped for, and more. The hosts are A-1 and our advice is to "just say yes" to the coffee cake! It was yummy. During our stay all systems were in tiptop shape (WIFI, TV, plumbing, etc.) and the climate control options handled extra warm (80s in May!) and chilly (low 40s), equally well. The owners are gracious, very helpful and friendly. This location is rural lakefront Vermont at its finest! If you do not know the area, plan ahead and bring your favorites with you. If you know rural living, Pratt's Store is close by (15 minute drive) and had surprisingly good produce (for May), as well as other essentials. We have already booked our next visit.

Debbie’s place is awesome! Amazing location and wonderful host! The fridge was stocked for us including homemade brownies and coffee cake. She gave us a wonderful breakfast recommendation and was so accommodating. The view of the lake is stunning and the home very comfortable. We will be back!

The first impression of the place was just wow! The guest cottage was easy to find and as we drove up to the home we could tell it was something special. Our host, Debbie, was just amazing. She had shopped for us with some essential items and was gracious enough to back us a Coffee Cake, which was delicious by the way! This was a great stay to go explore during the day and come back in the evenings and spend time together at the house. We enjoyed our stay and if we are ever in the area again we will be staying here for sure! Thank you Debbie!

The guest house was a perfect retreat for us while spending a busy weekend south of Burlington. We especially enjoyed the personalized attention within the cottage and the quiet & calm of the entire stay!

We had not been in this area for many years and were so pleased with our VRBO choice. Our host was so VERY kind, friendly, attentive and generous! She provided some basic grocery items and delicious fresh made coffee cake. This was a first! Our host gave many great suggestions for hiking, museums to visit, dining choices, etc. We stayed 5 nights and could have used another day or two in the area. The house is in a lovey setting and it is just a short walk down to the beach. The house was clean, comfy and cute with the most comfortable beds and pillows of any VRBO we have stayed in. It is a great place to rest/relax. Our host made our getaway a pleasant and memorable experience. We would definitely return to this rental!

We were overwhelmed with the natural beauty of the property, so serene and peaceful.. Were were able to be outside in this gorgeous quiet setting and do yoga, eat, talk and just inhale and relax… Debbie stocked the house with all essentials plus more. She was very welcoming as if were were family coming for a visit, so appreciated! Would definitely return 😊

Wonderfully relaxing stay. Property is very well maintained. Lake views are beautiful. Easy access for kayaking, fishing, and swimming. Short walk to Crown Point NY State Historic Site and many nearby hiking options including Snake Mountain (which offers an amazing panoramic view at the top). Easy drive to wineries, breweries, nearby museums, and Burlington. Hosts Debbie and Mark are gracious and very accommodating.

Debbie and Mark’s lakeside cottage was by far our best VRBO rental to date. The property is an ideal spot to view an expansive area of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack mountains. There are beautiful trees that provide plenty of shade and numerous spots to sit and enjoy the scenery. The beach area is wide and rocky and another great spot to relax. The cottage itself was cozy, well appointed, and thoughtfully stocked with basic groceries. The hosts even provided a birthday cake for my husband. Debbie and Mark are gracious, generous, and thoughtful hosts who do everything they can to make sure you have a perfect stay on the lake. Lovely place - lovely people!

We enjoyed everything about the property: views on the lake, our wonderful hosts, views, the accommodations, comfort, location on the water, generously stocked refrigerator, views, shade trees, closeness to area activities, views, amenities, and extras. We've already recommended it to cousins. It was the best place we've ever stayed for just hanging out and being renewed by the beauty of nature. We can't wait to go back!!!!

I just left the guest house yesterday and I'm so very relaxed, we had an awesome week there. This is a beautiful place to stay, enjoy the lake views and get some R & R. Vermont is so magical in the summer time. Debbie is the most gracious host I've ever encountered. You will have everything you need to get the week started and then some. The queen bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed. There is even bug spray available. We used the deck every day. There are great restaurants about 20 minutes away. We had a wonderful time and would stay there again in a heart beat. Thank you Debbie!

I’m so glad we stumbled upon this property. The hosts are amazing… welcoming with unique, personal touches to our stay. The cottage is cozy, clean and well-appointed. The location and view really set this one apart. We hope to return sometime with our kids. Overall, don’t miss this.

This is a beautiful property with spectacular views from every side. The property is right up against the lake with very easy access to the lake. The yard has a lovely bench swing and hammocks overlooking the lake. Beautiful sunsets, so peaceful so relaxing. It felt so nice to just sit and swing and look at the lake and Mountains behind. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful. Picturesque retreat this us your place. The cottage has everything you would need, including groceries Debbie and Mark provide. They are super nice, accomodating and a pleasure to talk to but they also completely give you your space and privacy. The surrounding area is rural but close to plenty of places to go and see. We will definitely try and make it back. Thank you!

We spent 3 lovely days at a cottage surrounded by Lake Champlain on three sides. The views were spectacular. Our hosts, Debbie and Mark were so accommodating. The cottage was exactly as described and we were so surprised to find the amenities left for us including homemade coffee cake and brownies! We had great fun biking and exploring the area. We highly recommend a stay with Debbie and Mark!

The owners have created a breathtakingly beautiful lakefront property. The separate guesthouse has easy access to Lake Champlain and one truly feels like a guest. Everything is thoughtfully provided, and Debbie is a gracious and knowledgable host.

Debbie is a fantastic host. We had a great time. The guest house is very clean and comfortable. We were lucky enough to be able to rent dock space at the marina up the road. Fishing was slow but we got a few nice ones. Beautiful lake.

We had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful and the views are great. Very relaxing and the owners of the property are extremely friendly and accommodating. I look forward to going there again.

We visited at the end of May for a long fishing weekend. There was plenty of space for our SUV and boat trailer. It’s an excellent place to relax after a long day of fishing on Lake Champlain. Don’t hesitate and come visit Debbie and Mark.
