Everything about this property is perfect. Check-in was very easy and communication with the owner was fantastic! We have a 3 year old so we asked if we could access the amenities prior to check-in and Audra was more than accommodating. In fact, when we arrived two hours before check-in the property had been cleaned so Audra let us check-in early which was very much appreciated with our little one. The home itself is immaculate; very clean, well decorated, comfortable furniture, and well appointed. If you think you need to bring a bunch of stuff to enjoy your getaway, you don’t. The kitchen is the most well equipped rental home I’ve ever stayed in. The separate a/c unit in the downstairs bedroom was a July heatwave dream! It was so nice to crank the a/c down for a nice relaxing sleep while not freezing everyone else in the house out. We rented a golf cart from the pro shop for the week. At $95 a day it’s pricey but oh my is it convenient. Definitely worth it for our family but using your car to get around would work as well. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the pool and/or lake. Thank you Audra and family for allowing us to stay in your home. We had an absolute ball and will definitely book again.

We loved our stay in Lake Lure! The condo was very clean and modern and had everything we needed. We were in Lake Lure for a wedding at Rumbling Bald, so we were very close to all the events. We also enjoyed the pool, pickle ball, tennis, and the mini golf. We would love to come back and stay again!

This condo is a gem. It is beautifully updated, very clean, and well stocked. The location is great and there are multiple amenities available. We didn't have time to check them out on our short stay, but are definitely planning on staying here again. Check in and Check out were easy, as well.

My family of 6 stayed at “Our Happy Place” for 5 days over my sons’ winter break. The condo was clean and comfortable. The owner communicated well and in a timely fashion which made check-in and check-out easy. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated have plenty of sleeping spaces that did not include the common areas. The kitchen served our purposes of quick and easy meals with not a lot of prep. The table and chairs in the kitchen gave us plenty of space to share our meals, as well as family board games. Multiple TVs and comfortable sitting areas allowed my sons to enjoy gaming while my husband and I enjoyed watching some of the college football bowl games. We enjoyed Chimney Rock State Park and snow tubing during our visit.

The condo is a a great golf community with amenities, pretty remote, beautiful views, quiet and safe! Takes about 30 minutes to get to the strip where the shops and restaurants are (driving around the lake). Condo is well equipped and decorated perfectly. Nice comfy beds.

The condo was clean and organized. Everything you might need is included, without being cluttered. Location is great with lots to do nearby. The restaurant within the resort was super convenient for last minute pizza. Beds were very comfortable. Host seemed nice and provided great communication. Definitely would recommend!

Description is accurate, view was amazing, condo is clean with comfy beds, activities in the area are many and entertaining, and the drive around is thrilling and sightful. The home is well stocked, nice decor, pleasant furniture, and relaxing and peaceful views from the front porch. We enjoyed having our morning breakfast outside on the deck while watching the golfers and reflecting on our Mountain View’s. And if you listen carefully, you can hear the rushing water from the other side on the green. The only bummer we encountered and is no reflection on this rental, is the property restaurant. It was mediocre for the expense, but view was stunning. We want to return and spend more time here and in the area. Thanks for the opportunity!

Overall, the facility was great! We did experience a hiccup that really didn’t settle well though. The garbage service that you are supposed to use was full. Upon checkout, due to hosts Covid procedures: guest take out all garbage. That wouldn’t have been a huge issue if we didn’t have to take the trash to the dump ourselves, which took us 20min out of our direction of travel. The procedure also includes doing a quick kitchen clean and bringing all linens to the washing machine. I didn’t mind doing that, however, my husband wasn’t thrilled. It was nice to get away and the lazy river and outdoor pool was a huge hit! We even took our paddle boards to local spot down the road, so much fun.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this Lake Lure property! The condo was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There are two nice patio areas to sit outside and enjoy the breeze or the view of the golf course. The Rumbling Bald resort was beautiful and had lots of fun things for us to do together as a family. We would definitely stay here again.

We live in Charlotte, so this Lake Lure property is a close easy two hour drive. The Rumbling Bald Resort is awesome for children (ours are 8 & 11). This unit was a perfect set up, with plenty of sleeping room for adults & kids. Most notably, the kitchen is EXREMELY well-stocked with plenty of cooking supplies! We'll definetly return!

We stayed here for a few nights to enjoy the mountains and the lake. The porch is a great spot to relax and take in the view of the mountains and we even saw a bear run across the green. Host is very helpful and tons to do at the resort for an active family.

We booked this particular condo because of the bunk beds that sleep 6 in the upstairs room. The teenage girls had the upstairs with their own bathroom and we had the downstairs bedroom and bath. Everything is recently updated and well decorated. When we had a question, the owner responded to my message immediately and was able to assist. We love Lake lure and now found another condo here that will be our go-to when we have a multiple people.

We love this area and home so much that this is our 3rd year staying here. The resort has moved the trash cans from the ground in the parking lot all the way to the front by the entrance (so you’ll have to load your trash up daily to take in). I get why as the 1st year we had a bear sighting and they want to avoid any issues with bears, but it does make it a pain to have to drive trash daily. One of our group was turning 50 so we asked if they could get cake and ice cream and decorate. They were happy to accommodate for a small fee and even provided a gift for the birthday boy which was a nice touch. This property sits on golf hole 3 so we enjoy watching the men as they play golf and are able to top off their drinks as they go by. The resort has a indoor and outdoor pool. Indoor pool has a hot tub and outdoor pool has a lazy river (Don’t bring your own floats anymore as they require you to use theirs). Always bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tabs etc as there’s not enough on location if your staying a full week like we do. There’s a grocery store called Ingles down the road which is nice for fridge items. VISIT: The flowering Bridge, Chimney Rock State Park, Canopy Ridge Farm (zip lining and ATV), and Chimney Rock Gemstone Mine. They are all great places to do things at.

We have stayed in quite a few rentals at rumbling bald and this one was by far the best! Up to date everything! Even though it was just my husband and I, I was impressed at how many this condo could sleep! Would highly recommend!

Although Housekeeping never came between renters, the place was clean and well organized. We were able to get anything we needed at the local Apple Valley Market. Loved the view and the amenities. Our housekeeping fee was graciously refunded although not necessary The Legends restaurant was not much, but adequate. We found that Lake House (renamed) was not worth going back to but La Strada was fine. We would hope that there are other restaurants in the area that we can enjoy next time.

This accommodation is excellent. Everything you need to make your vacation fun is at your grasp. From kayaking, hiking to ziplines or just hanging out, the possibilities are seem to be endless. Its situated on a beautiful golf course also. This place is very clean, spacious and has everything you would need to cook. I would absolutely stay in this property again.

We were in town ahead of a wedding and needed a place to work remotely for a few days, but be near enough to activities that three young children could enjoy and this hit every need. The updates inside the condo were all well done. The owner was very quick to respond to questions. Check in and check out were a breeze. We will definitely see if this property is available on our next visit to the area.

We really enjoyed this beautiful property! Audra and her mother did an incredible job updating it, and we had everything we needed for a fun weekend at Lake Lure. The only downside is that the area has limited options for dining/groceries beyond the resort, so we now know we need to prepare more ahead of time to jump right into enjoying the time once we get there. Outside of that, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and this beautiful home!

The condo was updated nicely! The kitchen was well equipped. The kids loved the bunk beds. Lots of games available for rainy days. We enjoyed fishing at Bald Mountain lake & lots of swimming at the pool. The owner was always quick to get back to us regarding any questions. We’ll definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!
