This was a very comfortable and cozy home. House was very clean and adequately equipped with everything you needed. Host communicated promptly. Would definitely stay there again

We were so pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The place was beautiful, well stocked and clean! The host thought of everything. Highly recommend and will stay there again when we go to Venice.

We visit the Venice area often and now we’ve found our new favorite place to stay. First off the hosts are very nice, friendly and welcoming. The house itself is perfect for a family of 4 and I would think a few more without being cramped or crowded. Private, spacious rooms, modern with a beach flare throughout the house and the pool was such a bonus after hitting the beach. Location is key and this house is within10 mins from the beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. Thanks again for a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to visit again.

Your house has a great layout, very comfortable and clean. The owners were very responsive and the location was very convenient to beaches, shopping and just about anywhere you wanted to go.

Overall just Fantastic. The house is exactly as advertised. Very clean, very comfortable, all needed amenities. The property is well maintained and taken care of. The location is perfect.... Restaurants and stores within 2 minute drive. Historic Downtown Venice and the beach is within 5-10 minute drive. The neighborhood is very quite and peaceful. Perfect place for family with a dog. We are very pleased and left very relaxed and recovered. Thank you very much to the owners for constant communication and simplicity of accessing the property.

This house is awesome!! All you need is a personal chef and a cabana boy to bring you drinks by the awesome pool! Michelle is the best aways answers any question you have about her house or things in the area!!!! The house is very clean and very comfy as soon as you walk in the door!!! “Comfy private home In Venice, Florida - Solar Heated Pool, Minutes From the Beach” is among our most pleasant surprises since we started wintering in Venice Gardens! When we search VRBO to book anywhere, among our primary filters are “highly rated for cleanliness” and “premium owner.” Tony & Michells’s property is Both! We lean toward properties which are owned and attentively-cared for by a couple or individual owner, versus “one of a dozen or more” properties being rented out by a group (or LLC) of “investors” who may rely upon less attentive and over-booked cleaning services. Owner-hosts Tony and Michelle obviously care much about and look very closely after their property; and, Michelle’s communications are stellar, from accessibility to response times. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet and everyone we encountered are pleasant to meet or quick to smile and wave, etc. The fenced dog run / play area the owners have installed adjacent to the house can be a heaven send as most dog owners already know and with actual grass throughout the run, and not hot sand, etc. (No small feat in the FL heat!) But, it is this homes proximity to “Bark Beach” that really hit the mark for our little guy; we reveled in quick visits for him to romp on the beach for just about every sunset; wonderful memories - Thank You, Tony & Michelle - WE REALLY LOOK FORWARD TO RETURNING!

We drove down from NC on Christmas Day and arrived at a super clean house and just as it was described online. Super comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, short drive to the beach, restaurants, shopping. They provided staple items at their home for our use. They really thought of everything! Our son tried the pool out one time and it was just too cold- unfortunately Florida was having some really chilly weather while we were visiting. Michelle was very responsive to my messages. We really had zero issues and a lovely stay! We would definitely come back and stay again and again. We are rested and ready to start our New Year. You won’t go wrong with this house!

Once again had an absolutely perfect staycation at this little gem. Everything is still as perfect as my first stay there including the personalized touches the hosts provide their guests! You wont go wrong staying at this perfect little home with the best hosts!

Great weekend getaway.

property was as advertised. Great location close to historic downtown Venice and city beach. also made she short trip to Siesta Key and Sarasota St. Armand Circle. The pool was warm enough to swim in. Overall highly recommend!

My daughter and myself take a weekend getaway once a year and decided Venice was the place this year and picked this property. It was a incredible stay. Nice pool, soft beds and a great place just to stay in pretty much all weekend.

The property was as described, dog friendliness was a plus. It had everything you needed for your stay, and was close to all the area beaches, make sure if you visit to go shark tooth hunting. The owners were responsive and even went above and beyond to send me links to watch the upcoming hurricane. Hopefully the house and beautiful Venice made it through the hurricane untouched.

We only stayed for a few days but completely enjoyed our trip. The home is beautiful and well worth the cost. The pool 🏊‍♀️ was great and we were very pleased. We only had one minor problem and Michelle responded quickly. It felt like our home while we were there, fantastic experience.

The pool and location were the selling point for us. Could go for a quick dip anytime and was able to travel to multiple beaches.

Pictures and description are very accurate with an added bonus of a nice size fenced pet area. Beds were comfy and the house is equipped with every and anything you need, even spices, garbage bags, dish soap, flour, etc. We enjoyed the pool as well as the convenient location. Michelle was very responsive. Would definitely rent again.

Great property. House and pool were spotless. Owners very accommodating, house had everything you could need. Have been down for the last five years and this is our favorite house. My only wish list would be a gas grill. Have not used charcoal over 50 years. God willing, we’ll be back.

Was exactly what we were looking for. We are Florida locals but wanted to spend a couple of days closer to Casperson Beach to have extra time hunting for fossils while the grandparents watch the kids. Typical Florida beach home. Not a 5-star resort, but much better feeling than most beach hotels which just make you feel gross with salt and sand encrusted everywhere. Great for going to and from the beach. Come back to a clean house and private pool to rest up after a hard day of harvesting vitamin D on the beaches.

The house was great perfect location. The listing says that it sleeps 6 but the price is based off of 4 people. You have to pay extra for the 5th and 6th person to stay. Have rented others houses in the past and never had this occur before! Usually the price is based off of the number of people it sleeps. When we informed the owner that there would be 5 of us there she changed us extra for the 5th person a week before we arrived. Then when we were there tried to blame us for the A/C not working properly said it was our fault! We had accidentally left a door cracked open for about 15 minutes ,they wanted to charge us that we caused the A/C to work to hard. Turns out the system was low on freon ( this was determined by an A/C tech). Would not rent form this person again.

This property was so well "thought through" Great size, great pool. Everything you need to go to the beaches, or stay at the pool & do some grillin. Very close to restaurants or grocery. Highly recommend

Everything about this place was well updated and maintained. We were very happy with the value of this rental and will certainly be back to stay again. The neighborhood is convenient to everything and low key. Looks like many homes in this neighborhood are undergoing some sort of renovation/storm repair. This place is a diamond in all that chaos. The owners thought of everything. We wanted for nothing.

This was a cozy and comfortable home in a location close to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Felt very clean and fresh when we walked in the door. We didn't want to leave! Loved having the pool to cool off in. Kitchen was great, though we didn't have time to cook. Would definitely stay again!
