We have a large family and trying to find one home to fit everyone is always a challenge. This property fit the bill nicely. We had enough beds for everyone using the pullout couch in the living room, the location was perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and gave us plenty of space to spread out. The only two downsides were the hot tub not working and there was no A/C in the boat house. There were fans, which helped, but it was very hot during the daytime hours. We stuck the kids in there though so all the adults had A/C. The hot tub wasn't ever hot and the jets didn't stay on for more than a couple minutes at a time. We had one of the kids stand on the outside and push the buttons for us to keep it going. Other than that we had no complaints. We loved the use of the kayaks and paddle boards and the open grassy area was great for the kids to play. The fences gave us an extra sense of security since we had so many kiddos running around. It was nice to keep them contained at night and not worry about them accidentally falling into the water. All in all, this was a wonderful find. We really love our time at Lake LBJ and this house was a great setting for our annual family vacation.

We stayed at this property as a group for a family reunion. We had a few questions before our stay and the communication with the owner was very easy, with a quick response time. The property was very clean and very accommodating for a large group. There were so many activities available for all ages. Would definitely recommend this spot for your next group lake trip!!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Northshore. Kids and adults alike all found lots to do. Would love to come back!

We loved everything about this place. Besides being huge and having more than enough beds for 12 people, the amenities and access to the lake made a killer weekend.

Beautiful property overall, cozy, clean and laid out nice, plenty of room for everyone. BUT! For the price I paid a night the property should have been impeccable with everything in working order. The outdoor kitchens were horrendous, gas grill was sooo full of grease it started on fire. Thank God no trip to the ER, the other grills were equally disgusting. Not cleaned and obviously not checked, prior to our arrival. Sonos Sound system worked sporadically, spa was out of order, due to the mosquito larvae swimming in it has been out for awhile. Notified by owner the day of our arrival that they recently been notified of malfunction on hot tub and parts were on order. According to a previous review it has been an issue for awhile.Very sad to see the lack of attention and maintenance for such a gorgeous piece of property...Huge disappointment for what I paid...

Perfect place for family, 8 adults and 6 young kids. We had a wonderful time.

We are a college mens and womens tennis team (19 total) and stayed almost a full week. The property was amazing for us. On our rest days, we absolutely loved playing yard games on the water, kayak/standup paddle boarding, and enjoying the variety of different hangout spaces, and listening to music in the sun on the Sonos speaker system! This will be a trip we remember for a long time thanks to this space. The owner was so nice to communicate with. Hot tub ultimately never heated up during our stay, but we didn’t need and he was very helpful trying to troubleshoot it with us (I have no doubt they will address the issue). He was very nice to ask questions to about the little things as well. It’s a quiet little neighborhood but our next-door neighbors were never there so we didn’t feel intrusive. If I had to say something negative, it was a bummer to not have a bathroom in the “boat house” rooms. But honestly we didn’t think twice about it. If your group is much larger than ours, you will certainly be on the extra mattresses they have on the floor in the main area. Loved this amazing place!

Place was amazing!

Our family stayed here as we prepared for our son’s wedding in the Hill Country! It was a fabulous experience! We had a large group and it was no problem to offer a place to everyone vs. them having to find a hotel! It was phenomenal! It was very spacious, had several amenities, such as a fire pit, hot tub, outdoor grill, corn hole games, a pool table, and a beautiful fishing dock! We roasted s’mores, drank coffee in the mornings on the dock, and enjoyed beverages around the fire pit at night. The beds were very comfortable, living room space was great for those who wanted to watch television, and a lot of room for cooking! We had to communicate a few times with the owners while there. Their responses were prompt and welcomed! We stayed through New Years and they even let us pop fire crackers! And don’t forget to say “hello” to the neighbors! They are so kind and helpful for any additional questions regarding the neighborhood! We loved our time at this house, and look forward to booking again at some point!

With near record low temperatures, we were unable to participate in outdoor activities, but there was plenty of room in the main house for all of our family to get together and cook, play games, open Christmas presents, and enjoy each other’s company!

Really nice place to have an outdoor get away!

This home had it all. All the kitchen things you could need, blender, toaster oven, keurig and a coffee maker. The waterfront was awesome! So many seating options outside. Plenty of parking for the six cars we had, we could have had more and it would be ok. I would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed staying here, communication was great and we could fit the whole family, the only we would have loved if the bunk house had a bathroom

This is a wonderful property for both kids and adults. There are so many places to sit and enjoy the view quietly or as a group. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed and there are so many games and toys that we didn’t have time to try them all! The waterfront location is fantastic! We had a great time and would definitely come again-but for a longer stay, a weekend is not enough!

This property is beautiful! The host really has thought of everything! It has a well equipped kitchen, awesome sound system, safe place to swim, and lots of places to gather outside. My family had so much fun, and we would definitely stay again!!

This is the 2nd time we rented this property. We love this little gem. Plenty of space, activities, beds, large kitchen outdoor patio's, BBQ and more.

This property was amazing! We held a church youth group retreat at this property for 5 days. The layout of the property and the separate building fit our needs perfectly. The houses were very clean and the beds were comfy. The property has everything you need to have a great vacation. The outdoor kitchen was my favorite. We grilled a lot of food during our stay! The dock was great also. The entire property was wired with AirPlay speakers which was AWESOME! The cove is quite and very safe. We rarely saw a boat go by during our stay. We brought 14 kayaks and had a blast in the cove. The floating island was a hit with the kids. Many games of king of the hill were played there! The neighbors are friendly and the area is very quite at night. The house sleeps 20 we had 18. There was plenty of room for all. The owners are great and seem like great people. They were readily available to answer any questions we had. After all of this rambling the point is “THIS IS A GREAT PLACE!” If you have a big group this is the place for you!

Communication was good and great stay

Great experience all around, 4 families all agreed. Great host, the property allowed our kids ages 12-17 to spread out with just enough privacy. Staying midweek allowed us to enjoy the lake with just the right amount of boat traffic. LBJ near Kingsland is really a big river. For a more expansive area, boat 20 mins up to Horseshoe Bay on the Colorado. We would definitely stay at Northshore #2 again. 18 people slept comfortably and the outdoor seating was great even when temps reached 98 thanks to the ample shade on the dock and under the trees.

Our family lake trip was great! The property was exactly what our family and friends needed to have an enjoyable week at the lake. The property manager was very helpful.

Very clean and comfortable! Loved the dock area but it is a walk for seniors who have issues. Great breeze perfect for afternoon naps and watching the action in the water!! Teens loved the paddle boards and kayaks!!

If your expecting to stay up past 10 pm do not rent here. The place had everything we needed the host was fantastic. Only down side was neighbors but we made it work kinda...

Loved the property and the 3 buildings. Tons of on-the-lake, but out-of-the-water activities. Most excellent for big groups. The only thing that cast a bit of a shadow on this property was a objectionable odor in the Master/Living area of the main house. Candles and air fresheners helped, but it never really went away. It would be a near 5-star experience if this could be addressed before next time.

We had a great time here. It was very quiet. The home is very well maintained. We loved the kitchen, the dock area, the pool table, the fire pit, the yard, comfortable beds. We’d come back.

We had a great stay here and for the most party everything went well. The master bedroom bed literally fell apart while I was laying on it one of the days, luckily no injuries. On top of that we were charged an unreasonble repair fee by the property manager to replace a string of lights. One of the trees on the property has some lights on it and the kids broke a bulb or two while playing at the tree. The property owner charged us $300+ to repair the bulbs. The charge was to pay some individual to drive 3 hours to the property restring the whole set of lights, rather than to just replace the individual bulb or two for $20 themselves. Wouldn't stay here again for that reason.

It was a fun fill stay. Big area for kids. Enough space for 18 people including kids. Owner is very cooperative and promt answering our question. Best thing we did enjoy kayaking all day. Few things like propane tanks were empty and kids flotee was not operative.. other than that very satisfied with the location, property and owner.

We had a group of 19 family members stay here. We had plenty of room. The house and kitchen were well-stocked. The property was beautiful with so many outdoor areas to hang out. Some fished and some kayaked. We all enjoyed it immensely! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others! We had enough beds/sleeper sofas for 19 without an air mattress. It was very clean and well furnished. Loved it!

Our group was extremely pleased with the property. Check in was a breeze, any questions we had were answered within two mins. Our group will definitely be back!

This place is incredible! More than enough room to accommodate 20+ people. The included amenities (dock, grills, full kitchen, etc...) were a huge plus. Look forward to making this a yearly vacation spot!

This place is amazing. We had plenty of room. The layout is perfect with tables and chairs in every place possible. They did a fantastic job on accommodating everything. I left my eye glasses there by accident, called and they let me back in to get them. They responded immediately. So communication was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

From beginning to end, phenomenal experience! We did a short trip with plans to be on the lake and considered adding an extra day just to really enjoy all the amenities this rental offers (our schedules didn’t allow)! So much to do right at the house! Amazing home with plenty of space! Very clean! HEB close by for any forgotten items. Recommend to everyone.

Great location on the lake in a protected cove where you can swim and with easy access to llano and Colorado arms of the river which are great for tubing and skiing. Property has multiple amenities that make it a fun place to stay (outdoor covered seating right on water, Aqua pad, stand up paddle boards, kayaks, volleyball net, outdoor cooking area and pool table). This place is not fancy, but is very comfortable and well-maintained with plenty of space to spread out. Property owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We would love to return to this property.
