The hospitality, kindness and overall feel of the Waterfront Getaway is off the charts! The welcoming, cleanliness & thought of everything when setting up the house is the best we've seen in a long time! We loved our mini-vacation here and will definitely be making this our go to spot in the future!

We really needed a weekend away and this place checks all the boxes! Heather was so easy to communicate with, and very friendly. The second we walked in it smelled so clean and fresh. Everything was amazing and provided. We were able to dock our boat right out back and the convenience of the boat ramp right across the street was so easy. Our dog loved it too! We will definitely book this place again in the future!

We just needed a couple of days away from our normal hustle bustle… Preferably with someplace that we could get away to fish. Heather‘s property was the perfect fit for us. Everything was exactly as she had described, and we were spoiled with the ease with which we could put our boat in, leave it in, with the dock directly across the street. Heather is a super sweet hostess, having grown up in that area, she knew everything a true local would know, and was willing to give us all of that Intel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and next time we find ourselves down in Ebglewood, we will definitely look her up again!

Easy checkin, super clean, perfect location! Boat ramp is right across the street so putting our boat in was easy. Also being able to have the boat docked at the house was convenient! This is our favorite place to stay in Englewood and we will definitely be back!

From the moment we walked in the door we knew this was home for the month. Beds were extremely comfortable. Great space. Clean and the presentation with fresh flowers, wine and cake was over the top. We book again for next year.

The house wad clean and neat and we had plenty of room for our boat trailer. We had our boat right at the house and just minutes until we were out on the IWC! Heather was awesome and any questions were answered within minutes. Great location to everything you could want!

This was our first time to Englewood and this property was very clean and very accommodating! We brought our boat and was easy to dock our boat and plenty of room for boat trailer and the boat ramp was right across the street which made it very nice! The hosts are awesome and easy to communicate with! We will definitely be back!

The Hostess was great always available. The property was so clean & a bottle of wine with fresh cut flowers was such a wonderful welcome! The boat trailer parking was convenient and the boat ramp is walking distance across the street. Beds were comfortable it was perfect!

Great property with seawall dockage. Everything we needed for a summer getaway with our teenagers. Easy parking of boat trailer and boat ramp directly across the street! We are already looking at our calendar to book our next visit!

Words do not describe the effort of the host they were amazing and the house was perfect I have been to a lot of Vrbo over the years and by far this is the best one with the best customer service I’ve ever had. We had the best stay at “pirates haunt”. It was super clean and comfortable. Heather and Jaqui were very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We absolutely will stay there again the next time we travel in the area.

We were initially concerned by the property location being adjacent to a busy highway, but traffic dropped off rapidly in the evening, so it wasn't a problem for us. Would have liked more green space at the property, but there is a sizeable park within a hundred yards or so where we could walk our dog. Having said this, I would give extra stars for the cleanliness of the property, ease of check-in, and ease of communicating with the property manager as well as her friendliness and willingness to accommodate us. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This home is amazing! It is super clean and comfortable and stocked with everything you need for a great vacation (including the canal right out the back door). Heather, the property manager, is awesome and makes you feel right at home.

Great place to stay especially for boaters!
The house was roomy and clean! If you have a small boat this is a great location, the water was a little shallow getting in and out to lemon bay but nothing too bad for a 24 ft bay boat. Heather was a great host, especially when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house at 10:45 pm. She came to our rescue right away! We’ll be back soon!

Enjoyed our stay at the Pirate's Haunt. Everything we needed was there, and the house was clean and tastefully decorated. Owners were gracious and our overall experience great. Would recommend this rental.

The house is exactly as photographed. Right by the boat launch, near restaurants, grocery stores and easy drive to the beaches.
The house is on a main road, so expect some traffic noise, but we did not feel it was any inconvenience.
We hope to be back and stay at pirates haunt again!

The fishing was tough, due to the water temps, but we found them and had an amazing stay. Dog friendly!! They did work out a partial refund which worked for us but headed back to Ohio since we couldn’t find another place to stay short notice ☹️ We did loose the VRBO charges which we would have liked refunded!! And we were billed for 1 nite even tho we didn’t stay!
