Loved our stay and will be back!

First floor - direct access to pool and beach. So convenient. Beautiful condo. We had everything we needed. Great stay!!

Plenty of room for 6 adults and 5 kids. Never felt cramped.

Renting and property management was a little tuff to communicate. But once we were there it was no problems.

We had 6 adults, one teen, 16 month twins and one 5 month old. We had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Adult rooms all have king beds, teen had his own private retreat with twin bunk beds, and there was one room for pack-n-plays. Very large well appointed kitchen and plenty of spaces and comfortable chairs/sofa for everyone. The patio is spacious and the view of the pools and beach are amazing. Steps from the patio to the pools and a short walk to the beach. So easy with our little ones. Plenty of parking. This location was wonderful without all of the traffic of Destin.

We absolutely fell in love with this first floor condo. Decor simply welcomes you to the sandy beaches of Ft Walton. Plenty of room for everyone! Easy access to the pool, directly out of your back door. Worked great having young children, as well as elderly. Definitely will rebook again for another family vacation!

The pictures provided in the description was exactly what the unit looked like. Loved having the extra seating area off of the living room with bar area. It was beautifully decorated & only steps from the breaking waves of the ocean. Being on the first floor is the only way to go with a family -- we could sit comfortably on our patio & watch the kids in the pool. Would definitely stay here again. There were 11 people in our group & had room for more!

Everything was excellent. Beds were firm but comfortable. Plenty of space for all. Exactly as described in listing. We had a wonderful time and felt very at home. Great unit with easy access to pool and beach. We absolutely will stay here again!

Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful time! This condo was perfect for 2 families (9 people). Everything was very convenient! We loved how close the pool and beach were to our condo. The condo was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We will be back!

BLU 103 was perfect for our family of 11. There is plenty of space to move around and never in the way of anyone else. With small children and lots of beach toys, wagons, chairs and umbrellas the access right out the back patio to the pool and beach was perfect . I loved that the patio had plenty of space to accommodate our family and all of our beach stuff. The condo is supplied with plenty of kitchen ware that could be needed. My least favorite is right in sight of pool but the easy access with small children totally out weighed that and it never was an issue. If I could suggest one thing would be to have a lock or chain on the inside of the door so that little ones can't just open door and walk out. We had a great vacation and would definitely stay here again!!!

We loved the location and roominess of the condo. We liked it enough to want to book for the next year but prices reflected a 25% increase and that was too much. There were a few maintenance items that needed t be addressed that I hope get taken care of. Earlier posts mentioned the master bedroom mattress being to firm. We didn't think so and liked it. Would come back if wasn't so expensive.

Kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/utensils. Workout room is very nice with plenty of different pieces of equipment. Complex is VERY clean and well maintained. Opportunities: Condo had a vacuum but no broom which picks up sand better. Could have used more bedding sheets for pull out couches etc. We are a very laid back group but felt permanent owner/residents need to be a little more accepting and not so uptight and stringent on rules (received a warning for hanging beach towels on our patio gate). We would definitely stay at this condo again.

This was our 2nd time vacationing at this condo. Great place for my 2 sons & their children. We love the floor plan & the proximity to pool & beach. Condo was clean & had many extra towels in bath. The reason I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the lack of several kitchen items. Missing a chef knife, cheese grater, baking pans for cookies (this grandma loves making cookies with her grandchildren), & extra large serving bowls. Also it would be nice to have a few extra blankets for beds, or using on couch. One other item that would be useful……an additional inside lock for condo entry door. A small child can easily open door from inside. Hope this review helps others!

Easy access to the pool and beach was great.

Brand new! Super clean and modern. Bottom floor is the way to go with kids. Pool and hot tub plus fire pit! Beach is steps away. We will definitely be back!!!

We stayed at this home for a week. It was very convenient that they had keypads for entry into the parking lot, home, and gates - no carrying keys! Family-friendly area and condo bldg. We like to avoid the busy touristy crowds like in Destin. There was some construction noise but that didn't bother us. The condo itself was clean and well kept. I would recommend bringing extra detergents, dish soap, paper towel etc. The only thing we didn't like was that there were no rugs! Even though we always rinsed and cleaned our feet before we came in, there was always sand on the floor. The place could use a better broom & mop. It was hard to keep up with the cleaning when the cleaning supplies weren't good. The condo was perfectly located in the middle of the two pools. Easy access to pool & beach. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful condo. Loved how spacious it was and the simple decor. Made for a very homey and cozy stay. Loved ease of access to the beach. Staff was friendly.

Our only real issues during our stay involved the property. There was an issue with the heater in the pool. Being early March that left us without an option for swimming as the water was just too cool. The fire pit would have been nice in the evenings but it also was having issues and would not stay lit.

Not really issues but for awareness... master bedroom mattress is extremely firm. Neither of us felt that would be an issue beforehand but we did not sleep well due to how hard it was. Being right next to the pool and outdoor entertainment area can be a blessing as far as access but remember that everyone has a full view into your living area because you will want to keep the shades open. Pool noise is the same. Bring trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, etc. There are only a few bath towels and no beach towels so you will need to do laundry if you want fresh towels.

Absolutely beautiful condo on the 1st floor. It had everything we needed and the ability to walk straight out to the pool/beach from the the balcony was awesome. The 4th bedroom designation is a bit misleading as it’s a sofa bed in the room and not a regular bed, but overall still a great place to stay.

Loved our stay! You’re just steps to the ocean, and even though the unit is first floor you still have a view. We would definitely stay here again. Security is mentioned in a few reviews, but they’re friendly. The only complaint is not enough necessities. For three nights, we only had one pack of dishwasher detergent, one pack of laundry detergent, and two garbage bags.

Loved this place! Beach and pool access was the best! Would love to go back every year. We had a few thing that were broken can opener, blender, and microwave but they did bring some replacements but was last night

Overall the place is gorgeous and one of the newer properties and close to everything. There is an extremely involved property management group so don’t get too rowdy. People are generally nice and interactive. Would have given 5 stars but some things need improvement.

Pros:
- good access to pool and beach and elevator
- new unit with plenty of space
- quick access to stores and shops
- texting is the best option to communicate

Cons:
- microwave did not work most of the 7 days during our stay
- can opener was broken
- no good cutting boards for meal prep
- ice machine started working half way during our stay
- master bedroom mattress was super firm and did not provide any rest. All other room mattresses including bunk bed and sofa sleeper were more comfortable
- parking a nightmare only 2 cars allowed for 12 people??? Plus no clear direction for covered parking
- no charge to room options
- several codes for work out room, unit door, pool access, and property access
- night time security was extremely involved for almost every little thing due to building management rules
- grill area not covered if raining
- would be nice to have daily cleaning service
- doors are time sensitive so unless you can get an early check in plan to get there are exact time or later.
- walls mark and scuff easily

We loved staying in Blu 103. It was great for three families - King sized beds for all parents, bunk room for the boys and pull out sofa room for the girls. The condo was spacious and the patio entrance to the pool deck was so convenient! The pools and beach were great too!

Perfect location.......loved everything about the condo! Condo was great for our 3 families to enjoy the beach. Really no need to carry so much kid stuff to beach because only a short walkway to beach... plus this unit sits by pool so that made everything so convenient ( no elevators)👍🏻
