The house was beautiful. I wish I could’ve stayed during warmer weather to take advantage of all this home has to offer. The check in process was simple and John was very quick and kind make sure every need was taken care of. I would stay here again and again.

Stayed here for a couple weeks on a business trip. Great place and great host. Will be my go to place for future visits to Acworth.

We travel a lot for sports and have been splitting house costs amongst friends instead of hotels. So every trip we look for little place that we can fellowship and hang out and make memories. This was one of our favorites. I only wish that we had more time. We only got to see the lake late at night but it was beautiful. I would love to return with my boat and really get to enjoy the area.

This was a more than comfortable home very convenient for access to major interstate close to all conveniences, owner extremely accommodating and helpful. very promp to respond to your needs or questions . Should be rated higher than 5 Stars ********* Great VRBO . Amust on your list.

Comfortable and fun stay for grandparent, adult children/spouses and grandkids. Our host was very responsive and helpful with all questions (there weren’t many as he covered Check-in, checkout, amenities, suggestions for boat rental etc) before we arrived. The house was spacious and well stocked and the dock was highlight of our trip. We will definitely be looking into returning next summer for another great family get together!

We stayed here while my son was playing at a tournament at Lakepoint sports complex. It was the absolute perfect location. Last year when we played at LakePoint, we were stuck down closer to the city of Atlanta in a hotel room and this was 1000 times better. We were only 11 minutes to the field. We never had to deal with traffic. The house had plenty of room, more than enough sleeping space for the six of us. The dock was on a very peaceful location of the lake. The water is super warm and the kids were able to just jump off the dock and swim. There was a nice raft tied up to the dock that the kids floated on. We used the JetSki’s which were super fun to take on the lake. We ended up meeting the owner and his kids and they were super nice, quick to respond with questions and overall very helpful. I love it when a property is managed by the owner rather than a property manager because the owner care so much more. Plus this owner lives nearby so he’s around if you need some thing. The walk to the dock is long as the owner describes in the listing. It would be challenging for someone who is mobility impaired, but for us it was good exercise, and we didn’t mind it at all. One of our funnest trips ever!

The house is well stocked, tons of room, the beds are super comfy! The dock is great, perfect location on the lake. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. We will absolutely be back.

Overall we loved our experience! The house was wonderful!!! Plenty of sleeping space, common area to spend time together and parking! The lake/dock was great but the walk if you have a lot of stuff is a little tough and that is just because half of it is along a path in the woods that coming back is up hill so a bit of a pain when pulling a wagon full of stuff or carrying things. The dock was in a quiet no wake area that was GREAT on the weekdays but on the weekend, there were a large number of boats coming through to where it was hard to let the kids swim due to continuous traffic and waves the majority of the day. Overall, it was great and we would recommend this vacation home!

Host John was very accommodating and process easy….response time for questions was immediate and provided everything pluses things we didn’t expect! Will definitely use this again next time family flies in town

Owner was very easy to work with and property is well maintained. We had 9 traveling with us and had plenty of space. As others have mentioned, dock is a short walk from the house, but an enjoyable one. Property owner has kayaks available for use that our kids took advantage of. My kids are already asking to come back. Would definitely stay here again!

Would not able to experience the fish you liked him, which was our main activity plan for the group, because the pier was damaged

This is a great place if you are looking for an experience at the lake. The lake is a 5 minute walk but they provide a pull cart to take your things to the lake. Dock is located in a perfect quiet location for using the kayaks. The house provides everything you need and very spacious. The host responded immediately with any request we had. Would definitely recommend this house for families wanting a lake experience.

It was an amazing adventure. We where in town for a wedding and also made it a mini vacation. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. Lake as amazing .

We always stay at one of John's properties because he is such a great host. Any issue, if any, is always resolved in a timely manner. Great please to stay with multiple families... we shared place to attend a baseball tournament at Lakepoint(15 min away) and the beds/rooms worked out great for our party. We did rent the boat and had a great time... John (host) walked us through everything needed to run the boat. All the toys (skis, surf boards, tubes, etc.) were there and ready to use. The dock is a 5 minute walk across the street from the house and we went swimming each day. Overall... a great place to spend the week. Thank you John... you were always available to explain anything. Have a great rest of your summer... we already let some teammates know about your place for next summer. Take care!

Loved our stay, just wish we could’ve enjoyed the lake more. The lake is a bit of a walk from the house but not too bad once you know where you’re going. We were there for baseball, very convenient trip to LakePoint Sports Complex. The property manager was very attentive and helped us figure out the AC unit when it wasn’t cooling off enough. We’d definitely like to visit again!

Took my three children, husband and both our sets of parents and had plenty or room! The owner is amazing to work with and stays on top of anything you need. We travel a lot and this home was one of the best stocked homes we have ever stayed in. Plenty of extra blankets and linen. Plenty of silverware/cookware….. beds and pillows were very comfortable and clean. There was even an extra propane tank for the grill. We did think it was a short walk to the dock from the backyard and that is not correct. The property is not on the lake. To get to the lake you need to walk down the street about three houses and then down a trail, it’s just over a quarter mile walk. It’s not an awful walk but definitely not something you want to do multiple times a day with young kids. The owner was excellent at communicating but did stop by a few times, never inside the house, just on the property and had us move our car at one point to access their boat trailer. The first time didn’t bother me and he did call and ask permission first but repeated visits were a little irritating. It was a holiday weekend so maybe just a fluke. We rented the boat and had a blast tubing and taking sunset rides. The only complaint was the boat gas gauge was broken so it was a guessing game as to when to refuel. Overall it was a great vacation and we enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Lake House! The listing was accurate and the house was clean and ready for us. Check in was as easy as can be with a lock code provided from the host. The house sleeps 10 and worked very well for our family. We had 4 teenagers with us and they were able to bunk in the downstairs area that has 2 nicely sized bunk beds. This gave them their own space. We were very impressed with how well stocked the house was with cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, trash bags, etc. There is also an impressive collection of lake equipment provided—wakeboards, waterskis, tow rope, life jackets, fishing poles, kayaks, paddles. Pretty much everything you need to enjoy the dock and lake. The Lake was beautiful and there is a nice dock with chairs that you can relax on even if you don’t rent the boat. We did not rent the boat but it looks quite nice. We did a little fishing and kayaking. The lake is about a 5 minute walk from the house which was not a big deal. Our kids got a bit confused when walking back to the house by themselves. Make sure you know which trail to take. Communication from the host was outstanding. He was very responsive via text when we had some questions during our stay. Highly recommend this rental!!

Our family had a very pleasant stay in this clean, spacious, well-appointed home. Quality mattresses and bedding were so comfortable. The owner was very helpful and responded to questions in a timely manner. This is a great location for events at The Butterfly Pavilion; the house is less than 10 minutes from the wedding venue. The cold weather did not allow us to walk over to the lake but the house accommodations were perfect for family time and watching The Masters.

We really enjoyed staying here. We rented the property so that the kids could enjoy their spring break near Lake Allatoona. The house is clean, plenty of space, and nearby grocery stores and restaurants. Beds are comfy and the lake access is a really short walk from the house. It was a pleasant experience and we’d definitely consider renting from there again.

The stay was wonderful! The community is quiet and nice. The host is awesome! The home had all the necessities available. We enjoyed it!

We stayed here for my recent graduation so there were several family members that joined us. This house was large enough with more than enough beds for everyone to be comfortable without feeling crowded. Everything was clean, check in/out was easy!
