The house is spacious and fit our family well. The little touches such as providing clothing soap and hand soap were a nice touch! The dock with SUP boards and kayaks were great to have - the cove was lovely and mostly quiet so we were comfortable swimming off the dock. So many games and activities - the pool table was in use most of the day. Highly recommend.

I read the reviews before renting the property and was convinced it was the right choice. We were all very impressed by the well furnished spacious rooms and the cleanliness of the entire house. The property offered games and entertainment amenities that kept my entire family busy. This beautiful home is in a perfect location at the lake. The host communication and response was top notch. She also provided a lot of household items that you will never find in a vacation rental home. We shall be coming back in the future to this gem at the lake. Had a wonderful time staying here and would love to come back. Even with the cool and rainy weather we were able to enjoy the lake and all of the amenities of the property. Everything was exactly as advertised and communication with Nancy was great! Highly recommend staying at this beautiful house!

The property was beautiful - our group couldn't stop commenting about how well thought out everything was, inside and out. The furnishings were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the house itself had many architectural features that everyone oohed and aahed over. We'd have to stay longer than a weekend to make use of the many ways there are to relax and have fun there. Nancy was very attentive to our requests and questions. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Our stay at this beautiful property was amazing! This location of the property is perfect and the home has everything you need, which was great. The owners were always readily available to respond to questions. Our family had a fabulous time!

The house is lovely, and large enough for our group to spread out so everyone has their own space, as well as areas for gathering the family together. Lots of extras--pool table, ping pong table, foosball and air hockey, as well as a very well stocked boat house and kayaks and paddleboards. A comfortable walk to and from the boathouse via stone steps with a railing. The cove where the house is located is perfect for swimming and floating around the boathouse, and great for kayaking and paddle boarding. In short, it's perfection for a wonderful family vacation!

Nancy and Charles house was truly spectacular! The most outfitted vacation house we've ever stayed in. We wanted for nothing -- in the kitchen, at the dock, in the lake and in each of the bedrooms. We've already booked our week for next year. Nancy is most gracious and checked in with us several times through the year between our initial reservation and our stay. I cannot say enough good things about our hosts and their property. Book immediately!

Your family will make wonderful memories here! There is something for everyone! The home is gorgeous and immaculately maintained. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and grill and the tables inside and outside seat 10! The dock has a terrific orientation and it the perfect place for an evening gathering. Outdoor kitchen is super handy when you have teenagers coming and going from the water all day; grill, mini-frig, microwave! LOTS of fun water toys supplied as well! We will return to this beautiful home again for sure! Nancy, the owner, is available & very responsive. A++

The house was on a lovely, quiet cove, just off the main lake. Great views from inside and outside, including two large decks. Very clean (I'm super picky). The house had all the amenities (as described) that our large group needed. It was nicely furnished, with plenty of sleeping accommodations, all the linens we required, all the supplies we needed (dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent etc, ie. the things you don't want to have to pack for a vacation!) We enjoyed the 2 large tv's (in two family room spaces) for watching sports and Disney for the kids. Also enjoyed the pool table, air hockey, corn hole, making smores, paddle boarding and lounging on the decks/dock. It was so nice to have easy access to our rental pontoon which we kept at the dock. Highly recommend this home for your large family! We will definitely return soon. Nancy was super to communicate with and answered a few questions before and during our stay quickly!

We absolutely loved renting this house. It had everything you needed to have a fun weekend away. The owners were super responsive when we called to ask them any questions. We would highly recommend this house to anyone who likes to have a good time. We can’t wait to go back when the weather is warmer but there is nothing better than sitting in the hot tub, while it’s snowing.

This is a perfect house for larger groups who need plenty of space with all the conveniences of a home away from home. The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable with a lovely view and outdoor space to enjoy. The owners were very responsive to our questions. Very quiet neighborhood, street is not busy for going for walks. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the lake with friends and family.

We had a wonderful week at Smith Mountain Lake in this Tradewind Terrace home. The house had everything you could think of to entertain all ages. The house was clean and organized. The dock area was amazing. Kayaks, paddleboards, floats, life jackets and more. We didn't cook at the outdoor grill by the dock but this is a refrigerator ehich came in handy. The cove is nice and quiet and perfect for swimming and floating. The hot tub was a treat after a hard day lounging. We had an amazing week!

Our expectations were surpassed last week! We were so thankful to be able to take a COVID friendly vacation. This location offers everything we needed and complete privacy. We had so much fun kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and relaxing. Thank you so much!
