This is a proper, traditional English B&B. Feels like you are a guest in someone's home. Pat was an excellent host, the rooms were homely and comfortable, and the breakfast was superb.
It's a bit out of the way and unfortunately the weather was lousy for our visit (storms and heavy rain!) so we couldn't take in the surroundings, but it's in the scenic Tamar valley near the Dartmoor National Park and would have been very picturesque if we could see it!

It was everything that I expected when booked. Shared bathroom which suited us. The bed was comfortable. Wonderful breakfast. Very welcoming & helpful.

Absolute lovely host, made us feel welcome. Comfortable and clean room and delicious breakfast, even accommodated to my friend's food request.

Superb breakfast with extra orange juice, extra fresh coffee, lots of toast and butter and the cooked breakfast was as good as a five star hotel. Really friendly and helpful hostess who also helped us find a good place to eat for an evening meal. Very kind and helpful in every way. Would definitely stay there again.
I cant think of anything and for the money it was fantastic value. For the money anyone would be very hard pressed to find any fault. It was scrupulously clean and well decorated - beautiful outside seating in a paved garden with active fish pond. Just lovely.

Pat was very helpful with communications and taxi companies. The room was spacious and a perfect location. A nice telly and amenities in the room, and hot shower in the morning. Great directions and lovely to have parking!
The only little thing is I could have done with an extra blanket as it was a very cold evening.

The property was located well for an event we were attending. Great communication from the host and they were absolutely lovely. We were made to feel very welcome. Fabulous breakfast. Good sized room with all we needed. We had the double ensuite.

This B&B is in a very beautiful location, convenient for walking, with a number of nice pubs/restaurants nearby. The rooms are fine. The landlady was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent.
No ensuite bathroom, which was a slight pain and my sister couldn't get wifi in her room. Otherwise, all fine.

The giant painted canvas in the hallway was lovely!
Nothing major but the toilet on every flush, had the cistern refilling quite loudly and lasting at least five minutes each time, which was quite annoying as you could clearly still here it through the closed door!
The location was a little too remote for us as we like to visit More of Cornwall And this was closer to the Devonshire side!

Everything! Exceedingly good breakfast and very comfy bed. Super clean throughout and our lovely hosts, Pat and Ken were so welcoming, attentive and kind. Covid guidelines were sensitively adhered to without impacting on our most enjoyable stay.
There was nothing to fault.
