The best part of this vacation was down time with the family. We enjoyed the beach during the days and game night in the evening. There was 14 of us and there was plenty of room. The little ones loved the pool in the evenings. I loved the double wrap around deck. I was impressed at how well the kitchen had everything we needed from utensils to pots and pans The beds were very comfortable. I woke up feeling refreshed every morning. The only thing that I would add to this stay would be rugs in front of the doors coming from outside to keep the floors from getting messy. We will definitely be back !!

Three story hose has plenty of room for families. Fenced in yard for those traveling with their fur babies. Nice private pool with a golf cart to make trips to the beach easy. We stayed in master bedroom on main floor, with my only complaint there was no dresser for your clothes, just a small closet. Nightstands were packed full of old computer printers, modems, board games and general junk, so no space for additional storage in either of those. Overall though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this house for the amenities offered and especially for families traveling with pets. Beautiful house with great location!

Great property with room for privacy

However when paying 8k for a place to stay you do expect it to be clean. No paint peeling on the ceilings. No rusted floor vents. Shower heads to be working completely. Bath tubs you can stand on without the fear of getting cut. Floors and walls dirty. A comfortable bed. The entire house smelling of mold and mildew and the vents especially in the in law suit having mold pouring out of them. The carpet looked filthy. The golf cart charged was barely hanging on it was melted to the extension cord and frayed. We went and bought a new charger and extension cord. And the entire house just seemed very outdated. This is our fourth year to Destin and was definitely disappointed in the conditions of the house.

Perfect size home for 12 people and privacy for each little family.

The cabana room (that’s what we call it) is so nice and roomy. We loved having a golf cart to travel around in. The location is great. They communicated with us about the trash pickups, send us reminders about various things and when we had a small issue, we were able to talk to them to solve the issue.

Love the trees and shrubs around the porch for privacy, the golf cart and the location were perfect. Splash pool was a nice addition as well. If bikes were included it would have been a major plus, but my only real complaint would be the outdoor patio furniture is is need of upgrades. Most of the chairs are broken, or about to break. And the ones that are not broken are not comfortable at all. Would have been nice to have an outdoor sofa to curl up on porch and some nicer loungers by the pool. Otherwise enjoyed our stay here and would probably stay again.

It is amazing, we enjoyed gathering on the wrap around porch, sitting in the rocking chairs. It is very private & perfect location. My grandson’s favorite was riding the gulf cart (beep-beep to him lol). This place was amazing & we made the most beautiful memories on this trip for my daughter had a destination wedding during our stay & Hector was amazing! As was the pool man & everyone else at Frangista Beach properties. Truly top notch service! They even showed up to pull our trash cans to the curb. Next time I visit Destin I will definitely stay with Frangista Beach properties. Thank you for the great customer service!

Great location. Lots of space.

First family vacation we've been on in 10yrs this rental was perfect for the 11 of us we each had our own space but still plenty of room for all of us to be together. The house was very well located as far as access to the beach and numerous shopping locations along with many mini golf courses and arcades. Plenty of places to eat out within the range of the golf cart that's included with the property so that made it really nice. I would highly recommend this property and rental company to anyone looking my family will definitely be booking threw them again.

The house was amazing. We found the property to be exactly as described and actually even better. There is a lot of room so families can be together or not. It can be your choice. We traveled with an 8 month old so the bonus room was perfect for allowing her to sleep in a quiet space. The pool area is small but perfect for the 9 of us. The walk to the beach is very short. It is only a block away. However, there is also a 6 person golf cart that we used daily! We used it for grocery runs, trips to the beach, going out to eat and shopping of course! Overall, i would highly recommend this property. The Frangista Beach folks contacted us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Check in and check out could not have been easier!

The ease of booking and the communication from the property manager was exceptional. Everything was as described in the listing. The house furnishings were very nice and it was well stocked. There were 9 in our party and we had more then enough room. The golf cart was a nice addition. It looked new, well kept and just what we needed to haul our things to the beach. We would definitely consider renting this property again in the future.

The name definitely fits this house. It was perfect for us!! My best friend and I made a pact to travel with our families once a year to the beach and this place has been our favorite so far! It’s so close to the Beach you can hear the waves sitting on the porch. The covered Porsche and balconies were amazing. So much covered porch space which was a lifesaver bc it rained all but 2 of the 7 days we were there. I’ll be honest…reading the weather forecast had me questioning whether or not we would be able to enjoy ourselves knowing we would spend a significant amount of time IN the house…but it was perfect. The kids were occupied in the pool or playing some of the board games they had available. The golf cart was fun and very handy. Parking at the beach was a breeze in that thing. It fit all of us plus our beach gear. Just all around a very pleasant experience. The host made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to accommodate our group! Thank you for the memories!!

The rental company was great and the location was wonderful. This is our 11 th year renting in Destin. Destin Dreaming was the most outdated / run down place we have ever rented It definitely needs some TLC. Carpets were worn and dirty. Kitchen is small for the size of the house. Overall it was fine, but there are much nicer more kept up properties we have rented through VRBO

Property is exactly what the pictures show! We loved our time there. The house was perfect, I love the location. The golf cart was a great added bonus. We even got to enjoy the pool the last 2 days there!

The Destin Dreaming house was perfect for our vacation! There was 7 adults and 4 children staying with us and everyone had their own space to relax. The pool was perfect for evening swimming! Great location to the beach and very clean. We will certainly book this home again.

Positives were the location to the beach and Destin Commons. Property company did respond and was available for communication. However nothing could fix how dirty and gross this home was. It needs a massive deep clean; dusty baseboards, dirty doors, walls, and cabinets, carpet hadn’t been vacuumed when we arrived. We turned over the inside door mat and there were several urine stains. Worst was we arrived to two semi dead cockroaches on the living room floor. Then continued to find them in various places throughout the home (bathtubs, floors, walls). I was cleaning more on vacation than I do at home. Do not recommend.

Reviewer Comments: We had a great trip with extended family staying at Destin Dreaming. House with additional suites accommodated our party with several adults, young kids and teens. Location of the house was great. Convenient beach access and easy to get through Destin beach traffic from the house. Loved the porches also. The house needs a deep clean, as the light fixtures are covered in dust and under furniture (we lost a phone under the couch) is filthy. Towels are small and poor quality and linens in general need upgrading. Kitchen also lacking in quality of pans, dishes. The worst part was that the WiFi went down mid-week and never was reliable even though we tried to reset and troubleshoot which caused a problem for those in our party trying to check work emails, trade stocks and complete summer college coursework while on vacation. Overall I would recommend but this property needs some TLC.
