Everything was perfect, we could not have asked for a better experience! The weather was beautiful and we were able to enjoy many days on the beach. We can’t wait to reserve this place again!!

This is a beautiful home. Very clean and well stocked with anything you might need on the trip. The Host family is wonderful and so kind and helpful. Views are great and location is awesome to beach, shops and great food. Will definitely stay here again if we visit area again.

We really enjoyed our fall break weekend at Surf City. The house was immaculate and decorated beautifully. The beach access was literally right across the road and made it convenient for spending time on the beach. Carolyn and Peter were such gracious hosts and were able to accommodate our late evening arrival. They thought of everything...shampoo, body wash, coffee, etc. We could not have asked for a better experience when we chose to stay at their beautiful home. Thanks so much for everything!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Peter and Carolyn's home on Topsail. At first, we thought it odd to have the owners living on the top level of the home while we were there, but we rarely saw them and it also was beneficial when a couple of minor issues arose. The house is very clean--the owners request no "outdoor shoes" inside which does not bother us. The washing machine had a small issue but they plan to replace it soon. The beds are very comfortable and the outdoor shower, which we used every day, is actually in the lower level under the house and enjoys lots of privacy, unlike the setup in other beach houses. Thanks to Peter and Carolyn for making our family vacation so memorable. We will return.

We had the best week with our family here! The house is immaculate and it had everything we needed for our stay plus more. Carolyn and Peter were a pleasure and made some wonderful recommendations on what to do and see while we were there. We’re already planning for next year!

This was the perfect property for our family. The cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed in! Very comfortable and beautiful views from every room. We spent much of our time on the porch overlooking the ocean. Carolyn and Peter went above and beyond to make our week a great one! We have a young child and they had a baby monitor, toys, games and a wooden high chair for our use. The outdoor shower made it easy to come off the beach and shower (hot and cold) off our toddler without having to drag sand into the house. Beach access is steps from the driveway and the low-tide had tons of tide pools for children to safely play in. We hope to return again!

Peter and Carolyn were wonderful hosts. The home was extremely clean and very well appointed. We enjoyed gorgeous ocean views and a short walk to the beach. Our family had a fantastic time!

We had a great stay. It was directly across the street from the beach and a very short walk. Maybe a 100 yards. We were concerned about having the owner living on the top floor of the property, but they were easy to deal with. We barely knew they were there. They had a sign that sad no excessive drinking, which was defined as 2 beers, but we broke that rule daily. I'm assuming they meant don't get drunk and tear the house up, which I agree with. Their was also a sign not to wear your shoes in the house, but we don't wear shoes in our house, so that was fine with us. I think the rules are reasonable and that is why the house is so nice. I felt like I was at home. It was very nice and spotless. You can tell they take pride in their rental. If you are looking for a party house, that you can get wild in, go somewhere else. Everything was included in our stay to include, shampoo, soap, dishwasher detergent, condiments well everything you would need for your stay. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. They told us about the island and recommended places to bike, hike and dine. We took their advice and explored the island. The highlight of our trip was the walk around the south end of the island.

We all loved the time together in top sail N. C. We had a week of great weather, fun times at the house and beach. There's only a short walk to a wonderful beach. The house is fully equipped, all we did was grocery shopping.

Peter and Carolyn were amazing hosts who were very accommodating to our needs with 4 teenage boys! It was a great experience!

The property was beautiful, spotless, and had every amenity we could want or would have expected (and many we didn’t expect, such as the body wash, shampoo and conditioner, baby monitor etc). The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well-stocked, allowing us to cook some meals in. The elevator in this property was extremely handy for checking in with luggage and leaving. Carolyn and Peter were so kind to our children and were perfectly helpful hosts. We even ran into a minor injury and Carolyn assisted with first aid supplies and was always quick to supply recommendations. This property is not walkable to restaurants and coffee shops (with young children anyway) but we didn’t mind the short drive into town. Thank you again for the wonderful stay.

Best stay we've had at either a VRBO or ABnB! Owners take great pride in their home (they designed it themselves) and were great hosts for us.

Excellent experience

Our vacation was wonderful! Our hosts were so sweet and kind. The house was absolutely beautiful and clean. It had anything and everything you would ever need. The beach was perfect and so quiet. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation to make memories with our family. The Harris family has made a wonderful place for families to stay and visit and enjoy time together. We loved everything about it! We hope to come back every year:)

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Home was spotless. Everything we needed was there, even things you don’t think about. Hosts were absolutely amazing. Such a nice couple and very friendly, inviting and helpful. We could not have had better hosts! Home was very comfortable and deck was our favorite place to pass the time (other than the beach, which was just a short walk across the street.) We had the perfect week due to a perfect place and perfect weather. Can’t wait to go back!

This home is brand new, beautifully maintained, and in a perfect location. Views are amazing from all vantage points. Homeowners are very welcoming and accommodating. Beach access is directly across the street. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the ocean view. We loved our stay here and couldn’t have asked for more.

Our family had a great and relaxing time at the beach. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The house is recently built and is in immaculate condition. The beach is easily assessed and very nice, not crowded. Enjoy!

This property was spotless. I’ve never stayed in a rental that was this clean. The owners provide so many extras to make for an easy stay. They were always very quick to respond to texts and emails. The location was very convenient to access the beach. I would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful vacation! The place was immaculate and everything was exactly as described! My favorite part...having breakfast and pretty much all meals on the second floor balcony!!! The weather was perfect, the breeze off the ocean was amazing, and it was so peaceful! Sometimes, when the tide is low, you may have a sandbar to walk out onto. We will definitely be back! The homeowners were amazing! They easily made suggestions of where we could go or what we could do. They even shared their life story when we were speaking with them about ours, which of course made us feel like friends and family by the time we left! We couldn’t have asked for anything better!!!
