This location was great for our family reunion that we have at brother’s house. By boat we were within 1 minute and by drive to Chapel Rd we were less than 20 minutes. This 2 bedroom cabin was great for us and our kids.

We loved this vacation! We spent most of our time jumping, swinging, & fishing from the dock! beautiful views, so peaceful out there!

Great, fun little lake house to escape the city. Couldn't have been easier.

We had a fantastic time here! Perfect for the teenagers. Their eyes lit up when they saw the pool table. Spent so much time out on the dock and in the water!! We look forward to coming back.

The view of the lake is breathtaking, the patio was so nice & cool all day🛶, and dock 🎣was so much fun!! The pool table/ping pong table was wonderful during those rainy ☔️days!! The kids were fascinated to see all the fish 🐠come up when they were fed!! We will definitely be back!!💕

There is just something about being able to see the lake out every window, whether you’re at the table, on the couch watching TV, cooking or in the bedroom. Feeding the fish was an added bonus! (I actually touched quite a few as they were feeding). This time at the lake was a very nice respite from the work world. An older home, not as luxurious as some, but very comfortable. Fairly close to grocery and places to eat. Fox Hollow has excellent fried catfish. Possum Hollow had a beautiful garden with a very tasty BLT.

It was very clean comfortable and very equipped..they had notes for everything .It had fun facts about the house being a sundial .And the fish..lots of fun.

Well equipped, had everything we needed to cook meals for five days, and the property manager was always just a text away. We had no issues at all throughout the stay, and we’ll definitely be back. Husband loved the rope swing too :)

Nice setup-older rustic feel. Absolutely LOVED having a pool table and feeding the fish. Less busy part of the lake-which we liked. Central heat and air worked great. One and only complaint is that the charcoal grill is on its last days but we made it work : ) Thanks for providing a relaxing getaway, it was just what we needed. If you’re looking for a comfortable 2 bedroom with an open floor plan-this may be the place for you. Our family had an awesome time, thanks again!

This cabin/house was clean and fairly well equipped. It was in a great location that wasn't as busy as other parts of the lake. The dock is nice and the back porch is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee! We had a couple small issues, but communication with the manager was quick. I would stay here again.

We celebrated our first anniversary with a getaway to PK. Overall we had a great trip and enjoyed the house and it’s location on the lake. We had a little trouble finding the house because the sign with the address had fallen down, but the management company was very responsive and answered my call for help at 9pm. The house is what I would call a typical older lake house that looks like it has been added onto over the years so has its quirks. The beds were comfortable. We loved the dock, the fishing from the house and the pet fish we fed every day. The washing machine had a note saying it wasn’t working when we arrived, although we had been told it was to be replaced earlier that day. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the home appearing to be older (carpets, cabinets, fixtures, a/c window unit with moldy filter).

My wife and I stayed at this small cabin for 4 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin sits about 20 feet from the Lake’s edge. Great views from inside and outside the cabin. We enjoyed playing ping pong in the main room of the cabin. The king bed in the master bedroom is very comfy. The small window unit AC works very well keeping the room nice and cool at night for excellent sleeping. Plus the room gets very dark at night, just the way we like it. We caught 15 nice size crappie off the deck in front of the cabin. So much fun! Highly recommend this cabin. Also, we had dinner at Possum Hollow about 10 minute drive. Nice setting and good food.

Myself and the wife stayed here for a week at the end of April, two of our kids joined us for a couple of the days as well (ages 19 & 22). The house was perfect for what we needed. The nice large open family/kitchen area were very nice. The bedroom/bathroom setup was a bit awkward, but how much time do you spend in those anyway? Proximity to the water was very nice, the dock was great, fishing was very good. We caught some large catfish, some smaller bass, crappie, drum, perch, and very large carp. The carp you can actually feed off the bank which was a lot of fun, catfish join as well at times. We did not fish for these as they seemed more like pets. But off the dock and along the bridge there were plenty of other fish to fish for. My son is a Bass only fisherman, he was a bit disappointed as he only caught one small bass. As far as the kitchen/etc. - everything you "need" is here as far as appliances/etc... There is not much in the way of staples or food in the house. I don't know that there should be, this is only our second VRBO stay. The first place we were at, had a lot of food and all the staples you could need. I guess this just varies from place to place, but this was different which meant the need to stock up on some things. (ketchup, mustard, sauces, salt/pepper, baggies, oil, Tupperware, soap, shampoo, etc..TP, paper towels and trash-bags were at the house.) Nothing wrong, just good to be prepared and know what you are getting. The weather did not cooperate with us for half of the trip. We made good use of the pool/ping pong table. This proved to be very valuable as it rained for the better part of 3/4 days. Getting to the house was a bit tricky, which i enjoyed very much. I like remote. Kids had a harder time getting out there, and after the rain it did make for an interesting drive back to the main road. Overall, we enjoyed the trip very much. I would definitely go back and would very much recommend going to others. Thanks, Keith

The fishing was not as good this time, but that’s how fishing goes. We only caught three crappie but they were really good size. I also caught a small bass. We had a great time. The ping pong table was fun and it’s so pretty just to look at the stars or sit on the patio and enjoy the lake. Of course, feeding the fish was a highlight. It’s also nice that the beds are so comfortable. Most places put cheap mattresses in but not this place. Thanks for a great stay!

If you like peace and quiet the West Lake area of Possum Kingdom lake is the place to be. The view across the lake is the uninhabited portion of the State Park. Perfect.

The host was very helpful and quick with responses. The place was very clean! The back porch has one of the best views on the lake. Definitely going back there.

My mom, my sister and I stayed the weekend at this beautiful lake house. We loved the dock for swimming and fishing & feeding the carp was so much fun. The house was cool and comfortable and the pool table was a great way to spend the hottest part of the day. The cabinet stocked with everything you will need and more. Thanks for a great stay.
